Evergreen Memorial Cemetery is a primarily African American cemetery in Miami, Florida. It opened in 1913. The owners of the Miami Times eventually bought it. Five African American police officers are buried at it, including one of the city's first. Lincoln Memorial Park, opened in 1924, is another cemetery for African Americans several blocks away and has gravesites like that of J. A. Dorsey, a philanthropist and Miami's first African American millionaire. Evergreen is one of the oldest cemeteries for African Americans in Miami-Dade County. Most of the deceased are in above-ground vaults.

Georgette’s Tea Room House (also referred to as Georgette’s Tea House and Georgette’s Tea Room) is a former boarding house opened in 1940 by Georgette Scott Campbell. It catered to African American patrons during segregation in the American South. It would serve breakfast, lunch, tea and boarding to visitors and guests. It is located in the Brownsville section of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. The Tea Room received a historic designation in 1990. The Tea room is one of the properties owned by Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church in Miami and is undergoing attempts of renovations by the Georgette Tea Room House organization.

Brownsville (also known as Brown Sub) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) that is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. As of the 2020 US census, the population was 16,583, up from 15,313 in 2010. After three decades of population loss, Brownsville gained population for the first time in over 40 years in the 2010 US Census.

The Aviation Building, also known as the Fritz Hotel, was a building located in Miami, Florida, United States. The building stood from 1927 to the mid-1970s when it was torn down and replaced. The address of the building was 3240 NW 27th Avenue which was 16 blocks east of the east end of runway 9/27 at Miami International Airport. The building was used for a number of purposes, none of which was a hotel.

Earlington Heights station is a Metrorail station in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami, Florida. This station is located at the intersection of Northwest 21st Avenue and the Airport Expressway (SR 112). The Metrorail Orange Line creation and extension of the metro to Miami International Airport (MIA) began construction from this rail station in May 2009, completed in July 2012. Passenger service between MIA, through Downtown Miami, and to the southern Miami suburb of Kendall opened in Summer 2012.

Allapattah is a neighborhood, located mostly in the city of Miami, Florida in metropolitan Miami. As of May 2011, the county-owned portion of Allapattah, from State Road 9 to LeJeune Road, is being annexed by the city proper.A stretch in the neighborhood along NW 17th Avenue was nicknamed Little Santo Domingo in 2003, in an effort spurred by former Miami mayor and longtime city commissioner Wilfredo "Willy" Gort to honor the sizable Dominican American population in the community.

Casino Miami (formerly known as Miami Jai-Alai Fronton) is a 6,500-capacity indoor arena and casino located at 3500 NW 37th Avenue in Miami, Florida. Today, it is primarily used for gambling and concerts. Notable past performers include the Allman Brothers Band, Black Sabbath, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Santana and Grateful Dead. In the past, Jai alai matches took place there, the last one being held in January 2021. Likewise, the arena had been used 89 times for boxing events, including many involving famous former world champion boxers. After a bankruptcy, an affiliate of ABC Funding acquired Casino Miami in 2014.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza station is a station of the Metrorail rapid transit system in Gladeview, Florida, United States. The station is located at the intersection of West 27th Avenue (SR 9) and North 62nd Street/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, opening to service May 19, 1985.

Hialeah Market is a Tri-Rail commuter rail station in Hialeah, Florida. The station is located on Southeast 10th Court near Southeast 14th Street, opening to January 1989 as Miami Airport station. It was the southern terminus of Tri-Rail line until a new station was built closer to the airport in 1998. The name was changed to Hialeah Market Station at this point. The other Miami Airport station was closed on September 12, 2011, and this station's name was changed to Hialeah Market/Miami Airport station. The name was changed back to Hialeah Market station again in 2015 after Tri-Rail began serving Miami Airport station. Parking is available at this station. Immediately north of the station is the historic Hialeah Seaboard Air Line Railway Station.
