French Bay / Otitori Bay

The Titirangi Soldiers' Memorial Church is a historic war memorial and place of worship located in Titirangi, Auckland. Built to honour local soldiers who lost their lives in World War I, it is one of only two churches in New Zealand specifically designed as a war memorial. The church was conceived by Emily Bishop, whose two sons were among the fallen, and was intended as a non-denominational tribute to all soldiers, regardless of religious affiliation. Funded entirely through community-led efforts, including fundraising events organized by local women, the church was officially opened on 18 May 1924, with New Zealand’s Governor-General, Lord Jellicoe, presiding over the ceremony. Over the years, the church grounds have been expanded and enhanced, including the addition of a lychgate and bell tower in 1940. Initially shared by Anglican and Presbyterian congregations, the church has continued to serve as a place of worship and remembrance. It was granted Waitākere Heritage status in 1996 and rededicated in 1999 to honour Titirangi residents who lost their lives in later conflicts.

Lopdell House is situated next to Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery as part of the Lopdell Precinct arts centre in Titirangi, Auckland. It was first opened as Hotel Titirangi in 1930. In 1942 it was bought by the Ministry of Education and became a school for the deaf, and then a teacher's residential centre named Lopdell House. The Waitemata City Council (later Waitakere City Council and then merged with Auckland Council) purchased it in 1983 and leased it to the Lopdell House Society, who reopened in 1986 as an arts centre. Adjacent to the house is a statue of Titirangi founder, Henry Atkinson.

Green Bay High School is a co-educational secondary school in the West Auckland suburb of Green Bay, New Zealand, catering for students from Year 9 to Year 13. The school primarily serves the communities of Green Bay and Titirangi.

The Little Muddy Creek is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows south from its source in Titirangi, meets the tributaries Waituna Stream and Waiohua Creek which run through the suburbs of Waima and Woodlands Park, before reaching the Manukau Harbour.

Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School (TRSS) is a privately funded school with a unique educational approach known as a Waldorf school, situated in Auckland, New Zealand. Green Bay is a suburb of West Auckland. It is under the local governance of the Auckland Council. The main road running through Green Bay is Godley Road and this is the Urban Route 15 that follows through Green Bay to Titirangi and Laingholm.Green Bay beach is part of the Karaka Park coastal walk. In pre-European times, the beach was the southern end of Te Toanga Waka, the Whau River portage connecting the Waitematā and Manukau harbours. At the west end of the beach there was a large Māori pā at Motukaraka (which is today Karaka Park). The area was originally called Karaka Bay, but was renamed to the current name to avoid confusion with other bays named Karaka.New Zealand’s largest wild bird hospital and rescue centre, BirdCare Aotearoa, is based in Green Bay, managing more than 6,000 admissions of sick or injured birds each year.

Glen Eden Intermediate School (G.E.I.S) is a state co-educational intermediate school located in the suburb of Kaurilands in Auckland, New Zealand. The roll fluctuates around 1050 student and there is an enrolment scheme (school zone) in place. In-zone suburbs include Titirangi, Laingholm, most of Glen Eden and nearby Konini and Kaurilands. Maree Stavert has been principal since the retirement of Terry Hewetson in 2015.

Konini is a suburb in West Auckland, New Zealand, under the local governance of Auckland Council. (Kōnini is the Māori-language name for the fruit of the tree fuchsia.)

Woodlands Park is a small, affluent and quiet suburb on the western outskirts of West Auckland, New Zealand. Nestled in the Waitākere Ranges, Woodlands Park lies in a valley, bush clad hills separating it from Titirangi (to the north east), Parau and Huia (to the south east) and Laingholm (to the south).Most housing was built in the 1950s to 1970s, and lies within native bush. Although largely composed of workers commuting to Auckland, and socially linked to Titirangi, Woodlands Park is a small reasonably active community. There is a primary school, which forms the communal heart, 2 dairies and a mechanic. Original home of the Commercial bus company.

Glen Eden is a suburb of West Auckland, New Zealand, located at the foothills of Waitākere Ranges. Originally known as Waikumete, the suburb gained the name Glen Eden in 1921. The suburb is in the Waitākere Ward, one of the thirteen administrative areas of Auckland governed by Auckland Council. Originally part of the rohe of Te Kawerau ā Maki, the area developed into orchards during the Colonial era of New Zealand. The Glen Eden railway station opened in 1880, linking the area to central Auckland along the Western Line, and leading to the development of the Waikumete Cemetery. Suburban housing was built in the area in the 1950s and 1960s.

Croydon Road railway station was a train station in Auckland, New Zealand. It opened circa December 1911. It was on the Western Line and was between Fruitvale Road station and Glen Eden station. The station closed at the same time as the St George's Street and Westbrook stations, also on the Western Line, on a six-month trial basis on 18 August 1980, with the closure being made permanent on 16 August 1981.
