Diversey station

Sheffield Avenue is a north–south street in Chicago, Illinois. It is best known to sports fans as being the street just beyond the right-field bleachers of Wrigley Field. Sheffield Avenue begins at the intersection with West Weed Street, immediately adjacent to Weed's intersection with North Kingsbury Street. The northern terminus is the intersection with West Byron Street (from the west) and West Sheridan Road (from the east). The street continues northward from that intersection as North Sheridan Road, a street name that is maintained northward all the way to Racine, Wisconsin. North Sheffield Avenue runs parallel to and about 100 feet west of the CTA Red Line for nearly all of its length, and the Brown Line and Purple Line for much of it. Six CTA stations are on the parallel segment near Sheffield, and two more are within a quarter-mile of the street's ends. The avenue runs through the heart of the DePaul University campus and the Wrigleyville neighborhood. In Chicago's grid system, 1000 W south of the North Branch River is known as Morgan Street, which runs through the city limits. The length of North Sheffield Avenue is three miles.

Wiggly Field is a dog park on the north side of Chicago, Illinois. It was established in 1997 and was Chicago's "first official dog exercise and play area". The informal name Wiggly Field is a play on words for the nearby historic baseball stadium, Wrigley Field. (The dog park is not, in fact, a field.) Founded by Stacey Hawk, Diane Dorwart and Judy Tullman, the play area is part of Noethling Park of the Chicago Park District and is located at 2645 N. Sheffield Avenue (at Schubert Avenue) in the Wrightwood Neighbors part of the Lincoln Park neighborhood.Wiggly Field is one of the most popular and well known of Chicago's dog parks. It has been featured on Animal Planet's show K-9 to 5, in Chicago magazine (July 1999), InStyle magazine (September 2000), Bark Magazine (Spring 2002), and Chicagoland Tails (2002). Wiggly Field was named one of the top ten US dog parks by Dog Fancy magazine readers.Noethling Park itself was established by the Chicago Park District in 1970. It is named for Grace Noethling, founder of the Wrightwood Neighbors Conservation Association.

Wellington is a Chicago 'L' station on the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Brown Line; Purple Line express trains also stop at the station during weekday rush hours. It is an elevated station with four tracks and two side platforms, located at 945 West Wellington Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Red Line trains pass through the station on the middle tracks, but do not stop. The station closed for renovations from March 30, 2008, until July 30, 2009.

Wrightwood was a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's North Side Main Line, which is now part of the Brown Line. The station was located at Wrightwood Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, and Sheffield Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Wrightwood was situated south of Diversey and north of Fullerton. Wrightwood opened on May 31, 1900, and closed on August 1, 1949, along with 22 other stations as part of a CTA service revision.

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is a 408-bed non-profit teaching hospital located in Chicago. Founded in 1897, the hospital operates a Level I trauma center and Level III Perinatal Center. Its license number is 0005165. The hospital is a part of Advocate Aurora Health. Each year, the hospital provides services for 18,000 inpatients, more than 152,000 outpatients and 41,000 emergency patients. Approximately 300 physicians are trained each year through its affiliations with the University of Illinois College of Medicine, the Chicago Medical School and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.”

Jonquil Park is a medium-sized public park of 3.25 acres located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. The park is situated at the intersection of West Wrightwood Avenue and North Sheffield Avenue, offering a green space and recreational area for local residents and visitors, including a public playground set with water toys for children, two tennis courts, a baseball field, and picnic tables with a chess board. The park sits at the northern end of Depaul University and is near the Fullerton "L" Station.

The Lakeview Historic District is a historic district on the north side of the city of Chicago, Illinois. The district was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 15, 1977. The district, which is in southeastern Lakeview Township about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north of the Chicago Loop, is primarily in the Lake View community but also includes a small part of the Lincoln Park neighborhood to the south. A boundary expansion on May 16, 1986, added a one-block section on the south side of Belmont Avenue, between Orchard and Halsted Streets.Land use in the historic district is primarily multi-family residential. Streets are laid out on a rectangular grid that is broken by the short jogs in some of the streets and crossed on the diagonal by Clark Street.

Lincoln Avenue is a street of the north side of city of Chicago. It runs from Clark Street (itself a diagonal) on the western border of Lincoln Park largely to the northwest, ending in Morton Grove, Illinois. It leaves the city limits of Chicago at Devon Avenue, through the village of Lincolnwood, curves through the village of Skokie and ends at Dempster Street in Morton Grove. In total distance it is about 13 miles (21 km) long, although it is not completely continuous. Between Foster Avenue and Skokie Boulevard U.S. Route 41 runs on Lincoln Avenue. Most of Lincoln Avenue is zoned commercial, and is lined by shops, restaurants and other establishments. It is the site of the yearly Taste of Lincoln Avenue, held between Fullerton Avenue and Wrightwood Avenue. It is also the site of the Maifest and German American Fest in Lincoln Square.

Kingston Mines is a blues nightclub in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois. The club derived its name from the Kingston Mines Theatre Company founded by June Pyskacek in 1969 and located at 2356 N. Lincoln Av. The theatre was named after the Illinois town where the father of one of its actors, Jack Wallace, worked. Pyskacek allowed Harry Hoch and a partner to use the Kingston Mines name for a small eatery/café in the front of the building. Called the Kingston Mines Company Store, it was acquired circa 1972 by Lenin "Doc" Pellegrino, M.D., and renamed the Kingston Mines Café. Although the original production of Grease was written and first premiered at the Kingston Mines Theatre in 1971 before moving to Broadway a year later, the theatre company expired in the spring of 1973 while the Café, which was a separate legal entity from the theatre, survived as a blues club. It was that entity that moved to its current location at 2548 N. Halsted in 1982.Kingston Mines showcases a variety of blues by two separate bands, every night, on two stages, 365 days a year; from delta blues to Chicago blues. Their featured bands/artists cover a broad and diverse spectrum of the genre. Kingston Mines is still owned by the Pellegrino family and it is "the oldest, continuously operating blues club in Chicago." Blues legends such as Koko Taylor, Carl Weathersby, and Magic Slim have played there; among a myriad more. The Kingston Mines has two alternating "headline" performances on its two stages into the early morning, every night. Carl Weathersby, Linsey Alexander, Eddie Shaw, Mike Wheeler, Peaches Staten, Joanna Connor, and Ronnie Hicks are regular performers.The club was awarded the "Keeping the Blues Alive Award for Blues Clubs" by the Blues Foundation in 2014.

The Vic Theatre is a music venue located in Chicago, Illinois. Vic Theatre can easily accommodate 1,400 people or with a seated capacity of 1,000.

Belmont is an 'L' station serving the CTA's Red and Brown Line, and the Purple Line Express during weekday rush hours. It is located at 945 West Belmont Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It is an elevated station with two island platforms serving four tracks; Brown and Purple Line trains share the outer tracks while Red Line trains run on the inner tracks. Along with residential areas, the neighborhood surrounding Belmont contains many eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants and active nightlife. The station is one of the more heavily utilized on the system serving as a busy transfer point, and also as a terminal when the Brown Line operates as a shuttle service to and from Kimball late at night and early in the morning. It is nearly identical to Fullerton, minus the terminal status.

Victory Gardens Theater is a theater company in Chicago, Illinois dedicated to the development and production of new plays and playwrights. The theater company was founded in 1974 when eight Chicago artists, Cecil O'Neal, Warren Casey, Stuart Gordon, Cordis Heard, Roberta Maguire, Mac McGuinnes, June Pyskaček, and David Rasche each fronted $1,000 to start a company outside the Chicago Loop and Gordon donated the light board of his Organic Theater Company. The theater's first production, The Velvet Rose, by Stacy Myatt premiered on October 9, 1974.
