The Ynares Sports Arena is an indoor arena located in Pasig, Philippines. The stadium has hosted the basketball games of the Philippine Basketball Association, Philippine Basketball League, and Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, as well as college basketball tournaments. The arena was built in the former location of Rizal's provincial capitol. It was the primary home venue of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) teams Philippine Patriots and the San Miguel Beermen. The Beermen notably lost the deciding game of the 2012 ABL Finals to the Indonesia Warriors in the arena.It has hosted games of the UNTV Cup and it is currently the home arena of the Pasig Sta. Lucia Realtors of Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. The Philippine Basketball Association was meant to play exclusively in the arena during the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, when Metro Manila, where Pasig is a part of, was put in a more restricted quarantine, games were transferred to a venue outside of Metro Manila.

The Marikina River (Tagalog: Ilog Marikina) is a river in eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the largest tributary of the Pasig River, with headwaters located in the Sierra Madre Mountains in Rodriguez, Rizal province. The Marikina River used to be an important transport route during the Spanish colonial era, but its importance as a transport route diminished when the Philippines' national highway system became more established. The resulting lack of river boat traffic and the deforestation of the upland areas in what is now the Upper Marikina River Basin Protected Landscape contributed to the river's siltation, further reducing its value as a transport route.Due to negligence and industrial development, the river has become very polluted, an act which recent Marikina administrations have attempted to address.

The Ermita de San Nicolas de Tolentino is a Roman Catholic chapel located along J.P. Rizal Avenue Extension in Barangay West Rembo, Taguig, Philippines. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila. The chapel was formerly part of Pateros and Makati (until the aftermath of the Makati–Taguig boundary dispute in 2023).

Rizal High School (Filipino: Mataas na Paaralang Rizal) or commonly known as RHS an institution of secondary education based in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines, has been listed as the “largest secondary school in the world” since 1993 by the Guinness Book of World Records until 2005 when City Montessori School in Lucknow, India held the title of the world's biggest school, when it had 29,212 pupils, beating Rizal High School in Manila, Philippines, which had 19,738 pupils.The school was named after the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Notable graduates of the institution include former Senate presidents Neptali Gonzales and Senator Jovito Salonga, former Senator Rene Saguisag, Maestro Lucio San Pedro, and National Artist Carlos “Botong” Francisco to mention a few.

Capitol Commons is a mixed-use development under construction in Oranbo, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a redevelopment of the former Rizal Provincial Capitol complex located in the village of Oranbo adjacent to the Ortigas Center financial district. The 10-hectare (25-acre) site being developed by Ortigas & Company Limited Partnership, the same developer behind Ortigas Center, features Pasig's first high-end shopping center called Estancia at Capitol Commons. When completed, the P25-billion mixed-use commercial, residential and office development will have 35,000 square meters (380,000 sq ft) of retail space, 20,000 square metres (220,000 sq ft) of office space for knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) companies, and 280,000 square meters (3,000,000 sq ft) of residential units. A Capitol Commons Park and open spaces are also planned within the property which would take up more than fifty percent of the development.

The PhilSports Stadium Stampede (also referred to as the ULTRA stampede or the Wowowee stampede) was a crowd crush that occurred at the PhilSports Stadium (also known as the ULTRA) in Pasig, Metro Manila in the Philippines on February 4, 2006. It killed 73 people and injured about 400. About 30,000 people had gathered outside the stadium waiting to participate in the first anniversary episode of the former television variety show Wowowee.

The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was formerly known as the University of Life Theater and Recreational Arena or the ULTRA. The arena is part of the PhilSports Complex which is maintained by the Philippine Sports Commission. It was the site of the majority of the games of the Philippine Basketball Association from 1985 to 1992 and from 1999 to 2002. The league still occasionally comes back to play at the arena. The arena was also the home court of the Pasig-Rizal Pirates in the Metropolitan Basketball Association in 1998 and the San Juan Knights in 1999.
