Eisstadion Davos is an indoor arena in Davos, Switzerland. It is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of HC Davos. It holds 7,080 people, of which 3,280 are seated. Every year the Spengler Cup is played in this arena. Major renovation of the arena started at the conclusion of the 2017–18 season to upgrade most of the stands and the concourse. The seating capacity was not increased and the total cost was around CHF 27 million. Construction began in 2018 and was completed in 2021.

The Spengler Cup is an annual invitational ice hockey tournament held in Davos, Switzerland. First held in 1923, the Spengler Cup is often cited as the oldest invitational ice hockey tournament in the world. The event is hosted by the Swiss team HC Davos and played each year in Davos from 26 December to 31 inclusively. Currently, all games are held at the Eisstadion Davos. It was originally devised by Dr. Carl Spengler as a means to promote teams from German-speaking Europe, who might have suffered ostracism in the aftermath of World War I. Eventually, the tournament grew well beyond expectations. Many of Europe's most prestigious clubs and national programs have appeared, including Soviet, Czechoslovak, Swedish, German, and Finnish powerhouses. Through its history, club or national teams from 13 countries have won the tournament, with HC Davos tied with Team Canada in winning the most cups as a club (16) while various teams from Switzerland have won the most cups for one country (21). Among non-European organizations, Team Canada, Team USA, nationally ranked U.S. collegiate teams, reigning AHL Calder Cup and Ontario Hockey Association champions, and even Team Japan (in 1971, building international experience before playing as hosts of the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics) have competed for the Spengler Cup. Since at least 1990, Team Canada has been the only participant from North America, with the exception of the AHL's Rochester Americans in 1996 and 2013. Future participation of the AHL has been discussed by tournament organisers and the league.In the 2018 tournament, Finnish club team KalPa from the city of Kuopio defeated Team Canada 2–1 in the final. The game was decided in the 8th round of a shootout, the first series of game-winning shots in tournament history that determined the winner of the Spengler Cup. The Spengler Cup tournament was not played in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the 2023 tournament, HC Davos defeated Czech club team Dynamo Pardubice 5–3 in the final.

The Davos Congress Centre is the major convention centre in Davos, Switzerland. It opened in 1969 and has undergone major transformations and extensions in 1979, 1989 and 2010. It has hosted the meetings of the World Economic Forum since 1971.

Davos (UK: , US: ; German: [daˈfoːs] or [daˈvoːs] ; Romansh: ; archaic Italian: Tavate) is an Alpine resort town and a municipality in the Prättigau/Davos Region in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It has a permanent population of 10,832 (2020). Davos is located on the river Landwasser, in the Rhaetian Alps, between the Plessur and Albula Ranges. The municipality covers nearly the entire valley of the Landwasser, and the centre of population, economic activity, and administration is two adjacent villages: Davos Dorf (German: Davos Village) and Davos Platz (Davos Place), at 1,560 m (5,120 ft) above sea level. Gaining prominence in the 19th century as a mountain health resort, Davos is perhaps best known today for hosting the World Economic Forum, an annual meeting of global political and corporate leaders. With a long history of winter sport, Davos also has one of Switzerland's largest ski resorts, and hosts the international Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament each December.

Prättigau/Davos Region is one of the eleven administrative districts in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It had an area of 973.65 square kilometers (375.93 sq mi) and a population of 26,089 (as of 31 December 2020).. It was created on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton replacing the Prättigau/Davos District.

Prättigau/Davos District (German: Bezirk Prättigau/Davos, Romansh: ) is a former administrative district in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It had an area of 823.95 km2 (318.13 sq mi) and has a population of 26,257 in 2015. It was replaced with the Prättigau/Davos Region on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.It consists of seven Kreise (sub-districts) and fifteen municipalities: The sub-districts Davos, Jenaz, Klosters, Küblis and Luzein belonged until 1986 to the defunct district Oberlandquart; the sub-districts Schiers and Seewis to the defunct district Unterlandquart.

Davos Platz railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Davos in the district of Prattigau/Davos in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is the terminus of the Landquart–Davos Platz railway and the Davos Platz–Filisur railway. Northbound, there is a half-hourly service towards Landquart. Southbound, there is an hourly service to Filisur. The station also serves as a hub for local bus services. Davos Dorf station is located about 2.5 km northeast of Davos Platz. The station currently has three platforms in use. The lower station of the funicular Schatzalp-Bahn is located nearby.

New Bolgenschanze is an abandoned K74 ski jumping hill at Davos, Switzerland from 1928. It was located on the same road as old Bolgenschanze, approximately 500 meters away.

The Dischmabach is a river of approximately 15 km long in the river system of Albula. It drains the Dischma valley, its catchment area lies mainly in the area of the Swiss municipality of Davos. The source Dischmabach has two equal headwaters. The one on the National Map of Switzerland is a creek without a registered name and has its headwaters in the area of the Scaletta Pass (46°41′37″N 9°55′35″E). The other headwater is called Furggabach and has its headwaters on Fuorcla Grialetsch at 46°43′4″N 9°57′3″E. The confluence of the two headwaters is at Dürrboden. Then the Dischmabach flows in a northwesterly direction through the elongated and gently sloping Dischma valley and flows into the Landwasser between Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. Within the Posterior Rhine system, the sources of Dischmabach are about 72 km from the confluence of the Anterior and Posterior Rhine. Only the headwaters Rein da Medel, Rein da Maighels and Rein da Curnera in the Vorderrhein system are further away from this confluence (about 74–76 km). Thus the Dischmabach is, in terms of length, one of the most important headwaters of the Rhine (see also sources of the Rhine).

Berghotel Schatzalp is a historic hotel built in the Art Nouveau style and listed Cultural Property of National Significance in Davos, eastern Switzerland. It is located above the western side of Davos at 1,860 metres (6,100 ft) above sea level on the historic path over the Strela Pass, and forms part of the Schatzalp skiing and recreational area, near the Rinerhorn. Schatzalp is accessed via the funicular Schatzalp-Bahn from the town of Davos below.A former hi-tech tuberculosis sanitorium, it opened as the hotel Berghotel Schatzalp in 1953. The hotel caters for global economic and political leaders during the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in the third week of January, when it is described by The Telegraph as "the most fashionable place in town, or above it, for a private party."

Old Bolgenschanze is an abandoned K53 ski jumping hill at Davos, Switzerland from 1909. It was located on the same road as new Bolgenschanze, only about 500 meters away.

Davos Dorf railway station (German: Bahnhof Davos Dorf) is a railway station in the municipality of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Landquart–Davos Platz line of the Rhaetian Railway.Northbound, there is a half-hourly service towards Landquart. Southbound, there is a half-hourly service to Davos Platz. The station also serves as a hub for local bus services. Davos Platz station is located about 2.5 km southwest of Davos Dorf. The station currently has one platform in use, served by trains in both directions.
