Robin Hood's Bay Lifeboat Station was a Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) lifeboat station, situated at Robin Hood's Bay, on the coast of North Yorkshire, England. The lifeboat station had been operating for just over 100 years intermittently when it was closed by the RNLI in 1931. The withdrawal of the lifeboat capability from Robin Hood's Bay was due to the Whitby lifeboat being able to be launched from Whitby, and into the bay at Robin Hood's Bay, before the bay lifeboat itself could be manhandled into the sea.

The Robin Hood's Bay Marine Laboratory was a marine scientific research and education unit in North Yorkshire, England, from 1912 to 1982. Purchased in 1998 by the National Trust, the previous structure was demolished, and the present building constructed to the style of the old coastguard station and opened as a visitor and interpretation centre.

The Bay Hotel is a public house in Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, England. The pub is known for being a destination for coast-to-coast walkers, for once being washed into the sea (then rebuilt), and also for having its windows wrecked by the bowsprit of ship during a heavy storm. The Bay Hotel stands at the very edge of the sea wall at Robin Hood's Bay facing out towards the sea, and is the second inn to be sited at that location. It is a grade II listed building.

Farsyde House is a historic building in Fylingthorpe, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The farmhouse was built in the 16th century, while an entrance extension was added in 1670. The roof was replaced, probably in the early 19th century, and a porch was added in the 20th century. There are various outbuildings, many of which have been converted into cottages. The house was grade II* listed in 1990. The property currently operates as an equestrian centre. The house is in sandstone on a chamfered plinth, and has pantile roofs with a stone ridge, broad copings and rolled kneelers. There are two storeys and attics, and a T-shaped plan, with a rear wing, a main front of three bays, a massive chimney stack on the left, mullioned windows and a dormer. At the rear is a sash window and chamfered mullioned windows. The entrance extension has a blocked window with a moulded surround, and a doorway with a lintel inscribed with three sets of initials. Inside, there are various moulded beams and joists, much wooden panelling and large internal window shutters, along with an early-18th-century staircase.

Robin Hood's Bay Museum is a museum in a historic building in Robin Hood's Bay, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The building was originally constructed as a cottage, possibly in the 17th century. In 1891, it was purchased by R. J. Cooper, the vicar of St Stephen's Church, Fylingdales, who converted the downstairs room into space for a coroner, and added an extension to house a mortuary. By 1900, it had been wholly remodelled, and it was used as a library and reading room, while still remaining available for use by a coroner. The library closed in 1987, and the building became a museum. It houses a collection of material relating to the history of the village. The building has been grade II listed since 1969. The building is constructed of stone with a string course, and a swept pantile roof with a stone ridge, and coping and a kneeler on the left. There are two storeys and two bays, and a single-storey entrance bay on the left. To the left of the main block is a doorway with a hollow-chamfered surround and a flattened ogee lintel. Above is a single-light window, and in the right bay are mullioned windows. The entrance bay is gabled and contains a similar doorway, above which is a round-headed window and a cross finial.

The United Reformed Church is a redundant church building in Robin Hood's Bay, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The Congregationalist J. C. Potter began preaching in a schoolroom in Robin Hood's Bay in 1838. In 1840, a church building was constructed at Fisher Head, on a prominent site above the beach. It originally accommodated 25 adherents in the village. In 1972, it was part of the majority of the Congregational Church of England and Wales which became part of the new United Reformed Church. The church building was closed and sold in the 21st century, with only one member transferring to Flowergate United Reformed Church in Whitby. The building has been grade II listed since 1969. The chapel is built of sandstone, and has a Welsh slate roof with stone copings and block kneelers. The entrance front is gabled, and has two storeys and three wide bays. Steps lead up to a central gabled porch with a trefoil finial containing double doors. The windows have pointed arches and hood moulds, and above the porch is an oval plaque with the date and an inscription. Some of the windows contain frosted glass, while the two at the rear have coloured glass which may be original.

The former Wesleyan Chapel on Chapel Street, Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, England, was built in 1779. John Wesley is recorded as preaching there on 28 June that same year. When built, the chapel was separated from the cliff top by a row of cottages, a road and a grass bank, but in 1780 there was a major cliff fall, bringing the cliff edge within feet of the building. The author Leo Walmsley was educated in the chapel's schoolroom. In 1936 a new Methodist church was opened in the upper village, and services were transferred away from the chapel.

Robin Hood's Bay is a village in North Yorkshire, England. It is 6 miles (10 km) south of Whitby and 15 miles (24 km) north of Scarborough on the Yorkshire Coast. It is an ancient chapelry of Fylingdales in the wapentake of Whitby Strand. It is on the Cleveland Way national trail and also the end point of Wainwright's Coast to Coast route.

St Stephen's Church is the parish church of Fylingdales, and lies in Robin Hood's Bay, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The church was built between 1868 and 1870, to replace what is now Old St Stephen's Church, Fylingdales, on a more convenient site, close to Robin Hood's Bay railway station. It was designed by George Edmund Street in the Decorated Gothic style. The Victoria County History describes it as "a handsome if somewhat heavy Gothic building", and by Historic England as "a highly accomplished design with a good use of space, impressive massing combined with very effective restrained ornamentation that displays a high quality of both materials and craftsmanship". It has remained largely unaltered, and was grade II* listed in 1969. The church is built of sandstone with a red tile roof and a decorative ridge. It consists of a nave with a clerestory, a south aisle, a south porch, a chancel with a north organ chamber, a south chapel and vestry, and an apse at the east end, and a southeast tower. The tower has four stages, angle buttresses, string courses, lancet windows and a roundel in the second stage, the bell openings have moulded surrounds and hood moulds, and at the top is a saddleback roof. Inside, there are various stained glass windows designed by Henry Holiday, and a cylindrical font which is believed to have come from the village's demolished mediaeval church.

Robin Hood's Bay railway station was a railway station on the Scarborough & Whitby Railway situated 15 miles (24 km) from Scarborough and 6 miles (9.7 km) from Whitby It opened on 16 July 1885, and served the fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay, and to a lesser extent the village of Fylingthorpe. On the north-bound journey trains had to climb a mile and a half at 1-in-43 out of the station.

Thorpe Hall is a historic building in Fylingthorpe, a village in North Yorkshire, in England. The house was built for the Fawside family in 1680, as a rectangular building. It was extended in 1835, the new section incorporating an existing building, and extended again in 1844. The Fawsides, later known as the Farsydes, sold the property in 1956. The house featured in an episode of the television programme Coast, which discussed its role in local smuggling during the 18th century; the programme speculated that a wooden container halfway up the stairs and an underground stone chamber in the grounds were used to hide smuggled goods. In 2021, the property was put on the market for £1.5 million, at which time it had ten bedrooms, a coach house and four acres of land. The house has been grade II* listed since 1969. The house is built of sandstone with quoins, and a Welsh slate roof with stone copings, small gabled kneelers, stone ridges on the older part and tile ridges on the extensions. The original part has two parallel ranges, the 1835 extension is parallel and extended to the south with a porch, and the 1844 extension is a parallel east range linked to the porch. There are two storeys and attics, and an entrance front of three bays, with string courses, and a small central gable with a chamfered slit. In the centre is a doorway with a Tudor arched head, a chamfered surround, and a coat of arms with initials and the date. Above it is a single-light window, and the other windows on the front are double-chamfered and mullioned. Elsewhere, there are more Tudor-arched doorways and coats of arms. Inside, there is much early-20th century woodwork, including a staircase in an earlier style.

Fyling Hall railway station was a railway station on the Scarborough & Whitby Railway. It opened on 16 July 1885, and was named after Fyling Hall, near Fylingthorpe. It was a small rural station with one platform, serving a catchment of less than 200 people.
