The mixed gender school has approximately 670 students on roll (2014) and opened in 2007 following the closure of its predecessor, Wolverley High School, as part of the local area reorganisation from three-tier education. At the same time, the school became a controlled Church of England school.The school accepts students aged 11 to 18, and offers courses at GCSE and A-Level. The February 2014 Ofsted inspection results, published in March 2014, reported the school as being 'a school that requires improvement'. A later inspection in June 2016 rated the school as ‘Good’.

Kingsford Country Park, officially Kingsford Forest Park, was in Worcestershire, England, U.K. and managed by Worcestershire County Council. It adjoined Kinver Edge, Staffordshire, a National Trust property, to which it was connected by multiple paths. Part of the country park was formerly known as Blakeshall Common. The country park covers 200 acres (0.81 km2), consisting mainly of pine and broad leaved woodland with some heaths and a small section of grassland. The woodland stretches over a terrain of hills and cliffs, with many sandy paths crisscrossing the lower woodland—some even going up cliff outcrops and across to a middle section between the woodland floor and clifftops—and the main paths leading up to the cliffs, which are also dominated by woodland. There are four circular trails starting from Kingsford Lane and Blakeshall Lane car parks: The Robin Trail, a third of a mile (0.5 km) The Coal Tit Trail, over one mile (2 km) The Nuthatch Trail, about one and a half miles (2.5 km) The Woodpecker Trail, almost two miles (3 km)

Holy Trinity School is a co-educational free school located in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England, offering education to children from 4 years up to 18 years of age. The school operates under a charitable status, governed by a board of Governors. A free school is a non-selective school that is funded by the taxpayer but is independent of state control. However, it is subject to inspection by Ofsted and is accountable to the Secretary of State for Education. Children who enter at age 4 are able to continue their school education until it ends at age 18 years. The school has separate Primary, Senior and Sixth Form sections. The main building is a former Victorian private house known as Elderslie. Founded in 1903 as the Holy Trinity Convent School by a group of Catholic nuns of the Trinitarian Sisters of Valence from France, it became secularised in 1985, and in 1986 it was renamed Holy Trinity School under the ownership of a group of parents who formed the board of trustees. In 2014 Holy Trinity became a free school, and is now state-funded, and free to attend. The Nursery became a separate entity in 2014 and is now known as Little Trinity, providing day care for children from 2 – 5 years.
