Established in 1962 with a kindergarten class of 12 students, NCCS has grown to a school of 540 preschool, elementary, middle and high school students. The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, the Nazarene International Educators Association and the National Institute for Learning Disabilities.On February 23, 2010, North County Christian School is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) for the secondary grades 7-12. North County Christian School will now begin the process for completing the necessary requirements for accreditation of its K-6 educational program. NCCS's association with these organizations offers opportunities for student activities and teacher development.

St. Louis Christian College was a private Bible college in Florissant, Missouri. It was theologically and ecclesiastically associated with the Restoration Movement of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. It was accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.In August 2021, the trustees of Central Christian College of the Bible and Saint Louis Christian College approved a merger of their institutions, which was completed with the approval and assistance of The Solomon Foundation, the owner of both campuses. The Missouri Secretary of State accepted the merger agreement on December 5, 2022.

McCluer North High School (founded 1971) is a public school in Florissant, Missouri, United States in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The McCluer North campus is centrally located in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Located in a residential area, the campus is bounded by Waterford Drive, St. Catherine and Parker Road. Facing the site is the Florissant Civic Center and its 20-acre (8.1 ha) park-like setting. Immediately adjacent are the former District Administrative Offices that included services for students and families in the Community School Program, PROBE Gifted Program, comprehensive Early Education services and the Child Development Center, a professionally run day care center that operates in conjunction with McCluer North's Child Development classes. On the Parker Road side of the campus, McCluer North backs up to Parker Road Elementary School. McCluer North was designed to provide adaptable and flexible space for a variety of instructional activities that include large-group presentations, small-group work and independent study. The multi-level building features a Student Concourse and commons area that has a cafeteria and an outdoor plaza where staff and students can socialize. A focal point in the school is the Instructional Materials Center (IMC), which serves as a library center where students can conduct research, independent study, guided or independent reading. The Counseling Center, located in the IMC, provides a full range of services for students. During her 2008 bid for the presidency, Senator Hillary Clinton made a campaign stop at McCluer North. Bill and Chelsea Clinton also attended the campaign rally, which was held in the school's gymnasium.

It is one of the four schools of the St. Louis Community College System and is one of nine community colleges in Greater St. Louis. Over 7,000 students attend Florissant Valley.

The Hanson House in Florissant, Missouri is a historic house located at 704 Ste. Catherine. The house was built in 1897 in what was then an outlying area of the City of St. Ferdinand, and was renovated in 1947. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.It is a frame house, vernacular in style, but with some classical details such as "entablature window heads". According to a historic resources inventory done in Florissant in 1978, echoed also in a 1979 study, it has the "finest Eastlake porch in area."The 1947 renovations were to enlarge the basement, remove old buildings behind, and install an indoor bathroom.In the 1970s the area of St. Ferdinand was assessed for its historic resources, leading to the listing in 1979 of the Hanson House and many other houses, buildings, and historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places.
