The Camden Snow Bowl is a small, town-owned ski area in Camden, Maine. Located about 4.5 miles (7.2 km) from Penobscot Bay on the eastern slope of Ragged Mountain. It also features a toboggan run on which the U.S. National Toboggan Championships are hosted annually. During the summer, visitors are able to hike, mountain bike, or boat and fish.

BrightBuilt Barn is a Net Zero, LEED Platinum home in Rockport, Maine, completed in 2008 to demonstrate certain principles of sustainable building design and construction. It was named the Most Innovative Home Project of the Year by the U.S. Green Building Council and was featured in The New York Times, and a short documentary film. It is the subject of a 10-year retrospective review in the upcoming Northeast Sustainable Energy Association annual meeting in March 2018. The project's goals were to demonstrate the principles of sustainable building for future structures and to bring together a critical mass of green designers and builders to help create an "ecosystem" of green buildings in Maine, modeled on the ecosystem of technology start-ups in Silicon Valley.

Camden Hills Regional High School (CHRHS) is a public high school in the town of Rockport, Maine in the United States. It is the sole high school of the Five Town Community School District, which consists of Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Hope, and Appleton.

Megunticook Lake is a body of water in Knox County, Maine. Parts of the lake are located in the towns of Camden, Hope and Lincolnville. Covering 1,328 ares (1,429,000 sq ft), it is the largest lake by both area and volume in Knox County. Megunticook Lake is very picturesque with the towering cliffs of Mount Megunticook rising from the east shore. The public can access the lake from improved boat ramps located off route 52 to the east and route 105 along the west shore. The lake also serves as a public water supply for near by towns.

The Beech Hill Preserve is a conservation property in Rockport, Maine. Its 295 acres (119 ha) include the summit of Beech Hill, one of the few bare-topped hills in the area. Its features include forested lower slopes, a commercial blueberry operation, and a 1913 Norwegian sod-roofed hut at the summit of the hill. It has been protected by conservation easements since 1987, and is now owned and managed by the Coastal Mountains Land Trust. The hut, its access road, and the gate on Beech Hill Road were listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Beechnut Hut Historic District in 2003.

The Conway House is an historic house and museum in Rockport and Camden, Maine. Probably built in the 1770s, it is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Knox County. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.

The Lermond Mill, now also known as Morgan's Mill, is a historic mill complex on Payson Road in Union, Maine. With a history dating to the late 18th century, and its present buildings from the early 19th century, it is one of the oldest operational water-powered mills in the state of Maine. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. As of 2006, it was reported to be in use for power generation and as a grist mill. The mill is located in the village of East Union, and is set astride Mill Stream, the outlet of Lermond Pond, on the south side of Payson Road. The mill complex consists of two vernacular wood frame buildings, with gable roofs and shingle siding, joined by a single-story shed. They are separated from the road by a mill pond lined with granite blocks. The industrial history of the site dates to 1795, when John Lermond arrived in Union. He built the dam that created Lermond Pond, and established a water-powered pit saw mill on the site. In 1803 he built the older of the two building sections of the present mill, and began operating a grist mill. The other main building section was added in 1825, and housed a woodworking operation, in which chairs, caskets, and barrel staves were produced. In 1871 the larger building was converted to textile making, and in 1897 the complex was used as a granite stone finishing operation. In 1928 the main waterwheel was replaced by a turbine. Mill operations ended in 1972, but were restarted in 1978. The mill has since been used to produce electricity, and for the grinding of grain. It is one of the state's oldest operational water-powered mills.

Maine Media College, formerly Rockport College, is a small school located in Rockport, Maine. It was founded as an adjunct to the Maine Media Workshops.

Rockport is a town in Knox County, Maine, United States. It is thirty-five miles southeast of Augusta. The population was 3,644 at the 2020 census. Rockport is a popular tourist destination and art colony.

The Rockport Historic District encompasses the historic town center of Rockport, Maine. Arrayed around the head of its harbor, the town's most significant period of development was in the mid 19th century, because of lime processing and other industries. The town has a well-preserved collection of Greek Revival and Italianate architecture from that period. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
