Crossing Sewer

Lewens Sewer is a minor, 1.1-kilometre (0.68 mi) long stream (brook) and drainage ditch of the Pevensey Levels in Hailsham, Wealden District of East Sussex, England, that is a tributary to Horse Eye Sewer. Flowing northeasterly throughout its entire course, Lewens Sewer rises at the confluence of Crossing Sewer and White Dyke Sewer near the White Dyke Marsh marshland. It has two left tributaries that drain water from an unnamed ditch draining Horse Eye Sewer, and two right tributaries that direct water into White Dyke Sewer.

White Dyke Sewer, also known as simply White Dyke, is a 1.9-kilometre (1.2 mi) long stream (brook) and drainage ditch of the Pevensey Levels in Hailsham, Wealden District of East Sussex, England, that is a tributary to Horse Eye Sewer.

Rising from Winters Cut, Marland Sewer drains water in farmland north of the A27 road, and forms multiple tributary streams. It gives rise to Glynleigh Sewer, itself a tributary of Pevensey Haven. One pumping station moves a culvert stream into Marland Sewer.

Rising from Duckpuddle north of the A27 road—forming the boundary between the civil parish of Polegate—Wadham New Cut flows northeasterly for the entirety of its course.

It joins Winters Cut and gives rise to a portion of Otham Court Ditch. Rising just north of the A27 road—forming the boundary between the civil parish of Polegate—Duck Puddle flows northeasterly for most of its course.
