Hinkle Fieldhouse (named Butler Fieldhouse from 1928 until 1966) is a basketball arena on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed in early 1928, it was the largest basketball arena in the United States until 1950. The facility was renamed Hinkle Fieldhouse in 1966 in honor of Butler's longtime coach and athletic director, Paul D. "Tony" Hinkle. It is the sixth-oldest college basketball arena still in use. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1987, Hinkle Fieldhouse is sometimes referred to as "Indiana's Basketball Cathedral." Hinkle Fieldhouse has served as the home court for the Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team since 1928 (with the exception of 1943 to 1945, when it was converted to a military barracks during World War II) and as the site of the annual Indiana High School Boys Basketball Tournament's championship games from 1928 to 1971. In addition to amateur and professional basketball games, it has hosted visits from U.S. presidents, indoor track events and bicycle races, professional tennis matches, circuses, and other civic and religious gatherings. The Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team won the Horizon League conference title at Hinkle in 2010. Several memorable high school basketball championship games were played at the Butler arena, including the 1954 title game, when tiny Milan High School's basketball team defeated a larger Muncie Central High School team. Milan's team served as the inspiration for the movie Hoosiers (1986), and the final scenes of the film's championship game were filmed at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl is a multi-purpose stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It opened in 1928 and is home to the Butler University Bulldogs football and soccer teams. The original seating was 36,000. It held games against the likes of the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame and Red Grange of Illinois.

The Irwin Library is one of the three libraries operated by Butler University, Indianapolis, United States. Minoru Yamasaki was the lead architect, and constructed the library in the architectural style of New Formalism. Construction of the library cost $2.25 million, of which $1.5 million was underwritten by the Irwin-Sweeney-Miller foundation. After construction was finished, the library's first day of operation was on September 9, 1963. The library was named in honor of William G. Irwin, who served as a trustee of Butler University from 1908 until his death in 1943.Irwin Library consists of the business, education, curriculum, and liberal arts resources as well as the performing and fine arts collections. Butler University's second library, the Ruth Lilly Science Library, contains resources for Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Actuarial Science, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Physics. Butler University's third library, the Education Resource Library, serves the College of Education by providing access to children’s, young adult, curricular, and professional resources.In 2021, a six-person panel of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Indianapolis members identified Irwin Library among the ten most "architecturally significant" buildings completed in the city since World War II.

Butler University is a private university in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1855 and named after founder Ovid Butler, the university has over 60 major academic fields of study in six colleges: the Lacy School of Business, College of Communication, College of Education, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Jordan College of the Arts. Its 295-acre (119 ha) campus is approximately five miles (8.0 km) from downtown Indianapolis.

Socrates is an outdoor sculpture by artist W. V. Casey created c. 1950. The work is on the grounds of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The sculpture depicts the Greek Athenian philosopher Socrates. In 1993 the sculpture was examined by the Save Outdoor Sculpture! program produced by the Smithsonian Institution.

The Arthur Jordan Memorial Hall, often referred to as "Jordan Hall", is a historic building on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is one of the original buildings of the campus, along with Atherton Union and Hinkle Fieldhouse. It was designed by architect Robert Frost Daggett and built in 1928. A four-story, Collegiate Gothic style building, it is a reinforced concrete structure with bearing walls of pink granite with limestone trim.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in June, 1983.

Persephone is an outdoor sculpture by artist Armand Toussaint created c. 1840. The work sits within the center of a pool in Holcomb Gardens on the grounds of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The sculpture depicts the Greek goddess Persephone. In 1993 the sculpture was examined by the Save Outdoor Sculpture! program produced by the Smithsonian Institution.

The Indiana Governor's Residence is the official home of the family of the governor of Indiana and is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. In use since 1973, it is the sixth official residence of Indiana's governors. The current tenant is Governor Eric Holcomb.

North Meridian Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It encompasses 169 contributing buildings in a high style residential section of Indianapolis. The district developed between about 1900 and 1936, and includes representative examples of Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Classical Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed William N. Thompson House. Other notable contributing resources include the Evan-Blankenbaker House (1901), Sears-Townsend House (1930), MacGill-Wemmer House, Hugh Love House (1930), Hare-Tarkington House (1911), Shea House (1922), and Brant-Weinhardt House (1932).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Joseph J. Cole Jr. House and 1925 Cole Brouette No. 70611 are a house and historic motor car located at 4909 N. Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. The house, also known as Colehaven, dates from 1924 and reflects Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals architecture and French Renaissance architecture. The 1.3-acre (0.53 ha) property includes the house and one other contributing structure.The house was constructed for Joseph J. Cole Jr., the president of the Cole Motor Car Company in Indianapolis. The Cole Brouette was produced at that factory and was owned by the Cole family. The house and automobile were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
