Ripley is a neighborhood of Independence, Missouri, United States.The community was named after a railroad official; an early variant name was Adams Station.

Metro North Mall was a 1,300,000 sq ft (120,000 m2) mall located at 400 NW Barry Road, in Kansas City, Missouri, United States Metro North opened in 1976 and was the only enclosed mall located north of the Missouri River in the Kansas City metro area, as well as being the second largest mall in the area, behind Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kansas. It was developed by Frank Morgan and his uncle Sherman Dreiseszun.After a decade of decline and left with only two stores, the mall closed on April 15, 2014, and the mall was completely demolished (except for the Macy's anchor) in early 2017.

The school's current principal is Mrs. Molly Smith.Its boundary includes the majority of Gladstone (sections north of NW Englewood Road). The boundary also includes Oaks, Oakview, Oakwood, and Oakwood Park.

The Maple Woods Natural Area is a natural area located in Clay County in the U.S. state of Missouri. The natural area is characterized by sugar maples. The 39.3-acre forest is recognized by the United States National Park Service as a Significant Natural Area. The small forest is a National Natural Landmark. The Maple Woods, purchased by the state of Missouri in 1978, was designated as a natural area in 1980. Owned by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDOC), the small forest is in the suburban municipality of Gladstone, Missouri and is maintained by the Gladstone park staff by agreement with MDOC. The Maple Woods also contains a significant subpopulation of bitternut hickory as a reminder of its former standing as an oak-hickory forest. In the absence of wildfire, the oak trees of this small forest are thinning out due to mesic succession.The Maple Woods Natural Area is on NE 76th Street adjacent to Shoal Creek. With the bright colors displayed by the sugar maple, Kansas City media recommends the Maple Woods as a place to enjoy local, accessible fall foliage colors.

Staley High School is a public high school in Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of the four high schools in the North Kansas City School District along with North Kansas City High School, Oak Park High School, and Winnetonka High School. The school was named after the nearby Staley Farms and the road of the same name. The school opened in the 2008–09 school year with an enrollment of nearly 1,000 students from Oak Park High School. It is the first Green school in Missouri; however, other schools are in the process of being built and/or planned. The school's mascot is the Falcons, and the school's colors are green, black, and silver. Staley's original principal, Clark Mershon, retired in June 2017, and was replaced by the current principal Dr. Larry Smith.
