Pope Field (IATA: POB, ICAO: KPOB, FAA LID: POB) is a U.S. military facility located 12 miles (19 km) northwest of the central business district of Fayetteville, in Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. Formerly known as Pope Air Force Base, the facility is now operated by the U.S. Air Force via a memorandum of agreement (MOA) and an interservices support agreement (ISSA) with the U.S. Army as part of Fort Liberty.

Pope Air Force Base Historic District is a historic airplane hangar located at Pope Air Force Base, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1934, and has a double-bay metal superstructure resting on a concrete foundation and floor. It is of bowstring truss construction. The building measures 333 feet, 6 inches, by 124 feet.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Pope Air Force Base Historic District is a national historic district located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It encompasses 32 contributing buildings on the grounds of Pope Air Force Base. They were built in 1933-1934 during the first base expansion and include single administrative buildings and dwellings with associated outbuildings. Notable buildings include the three-story, Georgian Revival style Fleming Hall; the Old Fire Station; and 21 Old Family Housing Units.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) is a United States Army-run military hospital that is located on Fort Liberty near Fayetteville, North Carolina. The facility is named for Medal of Honor recipient Bryant H. Womack. It contains 138 beds, with about 66,000 patients visiting the hospital's emergency department, and more than 11,000 patients are admitted yearly. Its physicians perform about 2,700 inpatient and 7,400 outpatient surgeries each year. The Medical Center serves more than 160,000 eligible beneficiaries in the region, the largest beneficiary population in the Army.

The 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum is a museum located at Ardennes and Gela Streets on the Fort Bragg Army base. Established in 1945, the museum chronicles the history of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1917 to the present including World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, and Persian Gulf Wars as well as campaigns in Grenada, Panama, Operation Golden Pheasant, Operation Restore Hope and Operation Enduring Freedom. The museum is open to the public but photo id and a vehicle search is required to enter Fort Bragg.The museum grounds serve as a location for military ceremonies as well.

Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) – known informally as "Swick" – primarily trains and educates United States Army personnel for the United States Army Special Operations Command and United States Special Operations Command, which includes Special Forces, Civil Affairs, and Psychological Operations personnel. Its purpose is to recruit, assess, select, train and educate the U.S. Army Civil Affairs, Psychological Operations and Special Forces Soldiers by providing training and education, developing doctrine, integrating force-development capability, and providing career management.

Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg, is a military installation of the United States Army in North Carolina, and is one of the largest military installations in the world by population, with over 52,000 military personnel. The military reservation is located within Cumberland and Hoke counties, and borders the towns of Fayetteville, Spring Lake, and Southern Pines. Fort Liberty covers over 251 square miles (650 km2). It is the home of the Army's XVIII Airborne Corps and is the headquarters of the United States Army Special Operations Command, which oversees the U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) and 75th Ranger Regiment. It is also home to the U.S. Army Forces Command, U.S. Army Reserve Command, and Womack Army Medical Center. Fort Liberty maintains two airfields: Pope Field, where the United States Air Force stations global airlift and special operations assets as well as the Air Force Combat Control School, and Simmons Army Airfield, where Army aviation units support the needs of airborne and special operations forces on post.

Long Valley Farm is a historic farm and national historic district located in Carvers Creek State Park near Spring Lake in Cumberland County and Harnett County, North Carolina. It encompasses 24 contributing buildings and 5 contributing structures on a winter agricultural estate. The main house is known as the Long Valley Farm Seat, or James Stillman Rockefeller Residence, and was built in 1937–1938. It is a two-story, five-bay, Colonial Revival style frame dwelling with one-story wings. Other notable contributing resources are the Mill Pavilion, Mill House and Gates, Pack House, Forge, Great Barn, Overseer's House, Tobacco Barns, Worker's Houses, Springhouse, and Water Tower. Noted financier James Stillman Rockefeller become the full owner of Long Valley Farm in January 1937. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
