The WestStar Tower (alternatively the WestStar Tower at Hunt Plaza) is a high-rise located at 601 North Mesa Street in Downtown El Paso, Texas. It was completed in 2021 and surpassed the Wells Fargo Plaza as the tallest building in El Paso, with a height of 314 ft (96 m). The tower has 20 stories in total. Covering an entire city block, the tower has a ground-level park area, outdoor seating and dining, and about 262,000 square feet (24,300 m²) of Class A+ office space. Alongside this, it also has 13,000 square feet (1,200 m²) of office and retail space on the ground floor. On completion, the building was the first skyscraper above 300 feet built in El Paso for nearly 50 years.

St. Patrick Cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso, Texas. The cathedral is located at 1118 N. Mesa Street, north of the downtown area. It is the mother church for 668,000 Catholics in the diocese (80.8% of total population; as of the 2006 survey). The cathedral parish operates one of El Paso's Catholic high schools, Cathedral High School, and St. Patrick Elementary School adjacent to the church.

One San Jacinto Plaza is a 20-story office high-rise building located at 201 East Main Street in Downtown El Paso, Texas. It is a very prominent part of the El Paso skyline and is most visible heading eastbound on I-10. It is the second tallest skyscraper in El Paso, behind Wells Fargo Plaza. Currently, among its tenants are restaurants, healthcare groups, law offices, accounting firms, family offices, insurance companies, and financial institutions. It was built in the international style of architecture, which was very popular during the time period in which the building was constructed. The building was originally named the El Paso National Bank Tower when it opened in 1962, it was also known as the Texas Commerce Bank Tower in the 1980s and early 1990s. By the mid-1990s, Chase Bank had acquired all Texas Commerce Bank locations and the tower's name was changed to Chase Tower. In 2017, Chase Bank announced that it would be moving out and losing the naming rights to the tower. Jamie Gallagher, senior vice president of the Borderplex Realty Trust, which owns the building, said the El Paso real estate investment trust was working with a new tenant to possibly replace Chase, and she said, put its brand on the building.In September 2018, Borderplex Realty announced that the tower's name would be changed to One San Jacinto Plaza. A new LED lighting system was added in late 2018 to bathe the building's exterior in light, which can be done in various colors at night.

Old Bnai Zion Synagogue, also known as Sunset Palace, is a historic synagogue at 906 N. El Paso Street in El Paso, Texas. It was built in 1916 and added to the National Register in 1984.It served as synagogue from 1912 to 1917, serving El Paso's first Jewish community. It served St. Nicholas Greek Church from 1927 through at least 1934. In 1984 it was serving as a dance studio, Sunset Palace, as well as sometimes as a social center and church.

The El Paso Public Libraries is the municipal public library system of El Paso, Texas. The library serves the needs the public in El Paso, Texas, Chaparral, New Mexico and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. It consists of 14 branches and one Bookmobile service. Multiple outreach services are also available including a Homebound service. The main collection consists of 902,521 items in multiple formats including books, reference, downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, music and movies, DVDs, CDs, large-print books, magazines, and newspapers. Special Collections include a Government Documents Collection, Border Heritage Collection, and RAZA Collection.

Cathedral High School (CHS) is a private, Roman Catholic, high school for boys in El Paso, Texas, United States. It was established in 1925 and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso.

The U.S. Post Office is a historic building in El Paso, Texas. It was built in 1916, and designed in the Beaux Arts architectural style. The lobby is "topped by a massive, paneled, saucer-shaped dome", and the rest of the lobby includes "polished marble" and "huge, rounded, ornamental grills of bronze." The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 19, 1984.

San Jacinto Plaza is a historic park located on the corner of Oregon and Mills in the heart of Downtown El Paso, Texas.

The Woman's Club of El Paso was founded in the late nineteenth century, and during that time was the only woman's organization in El Paso, Texas. The Woman's Club also allowed women in El Paso to become involved in community service and activism. The building which is the home for the club is located on 1400 N. Mesa Drive, and was erected in 1916. The club, now a non-profit organization, traces its official origins back to 1894, and continues to provide an "educational and cultural center for its members." The building is registered in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Hotel Cortez is a historic eleven-story building in El Paso, Texas. It was built as Hotel Orndorff for Alzina Orndorff DeGroff in 1926, and it was designed by Trost & Trost. It cost $1.4 million to build. Mrs. DeGroff unexpectedly died one month before its completion. It was purchased by the Hussman Hotel Company in 1933, and they renamed it as Hotel Cortez in 1935. It closed down in 1970, and it was remodelled into offices in 1984. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 24, 1980. President John F. Kennedy stayed overnight on June 5, 1963. In 1970 it began hosting the El Paso Job Corps Center, by lease with the Department of Labor.
