Baptist Chapel, Lincoln is a Baptist Chapel on Mint Lane/Mint Street in Lincoln City Centre in Lincolnshire, England. It is a former Baptist Church and was originally built in 1870 and had a Sunday School attached. It was declared redundant in 1980 and was closed that same year. The chapel and Sunday school are now in use for an estate agents. The chapel is within in a conservation area. The 1897 Sunday school building is grade II listed, along with its boundary wall.

All Saints in Hungate Church was a medieval parish church in the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. It was built in 1050 AD and served as one of the many parish churches for the city and surrounding area until 1533 AD when it was demolished. The site of the church and churchyard are now under a nightclub called "Home". The church was located at the junction of Mint Lane and Park Street.

Brayford Pool is a natural lake formed from a widening of the River Witham in the centre of the city of Lincoln in England. It was used as a port by the Romans – who connected it to the River Trent by constructing the Foss Dyke – and has a long industrial heritage.Today, the waterfront surrounding the pool is home to a range of hotels, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and a modern University (the University of Lincoln). There is also a year-long programme of events on the waterfront including vehicle displays, music evenings and carnival parades.

It is also known as Swan Island as it is a site for nesting swans. Speculation about the origins of the island has led it to be of historical interest.

The term Stonebow, which is derived from the Danish word stennibogi, indicates a stone archway that visitors entering the city from the south, along the High Street, would have passed through. It is a Grade I listed building. Lincoln City Hall, a 20th-century building on Orchard Street, provides further accommodation for the city council.

Lincoln is a constituency in Lincolnshire, England represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Karl McCartney, a Conservative Party politician.Since the split of the seat City of York with effect from the 2010 general election, Lincoln has been the oldest constituency in continuous existence in the UK – established in 1265. Lincoln was a bellwether between 1974 and 2017. The seat bucked the national Conservative victory in 1970 by electing a Labour MP, as it did in 2017. The seat has been considered relative to others an ultra-marginal seat, as well as a swing seat, since 2005 as its winner's majority has not exceeded 6.9% of the vote since the 12.5% majority won in 2005 and the seat has changed hands three times since that year.

St Martin's Church was among the oldest churches in the city of Lincoln, England. It has been suggested that during the Anglo-Saxon Period and during the Danelaw, St Martin was considered to be the patron saint of Lincoln. The church is likely to have been associated with the rare St Martin silver pennies minted in Lincoln, probably before 918 A.D, when Lincoln was taken back from the Danes by the Anglo-Saxons.

St Lawrence's Church, Lincoln was a medieval parish church in the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. It was built in 1000 AD and served as one of the many parish churches for the city and surrounding area until 1550 AD when it ceased being a church and was used for secular use until 1820. When it and the churchyard were demolished and redeveloped. The site is now under a building called "Hamilton House" and a nightclub called "Popworld".

St Benedict's Church, Lincoln is an ancient church in Lincoln, England which is mentioned in 1107 and before the English Civil War was the Lincoln civic church. It was extensively destroyed in the Civil War, and was only partially restored. The tower was re-built imitating the other late Anglo-Saxon towers in Lincoln. All that survives is the present nave, which was the chancel of the former church and the chapel to the north built by Robert Tattershall in 1378. The church's bell known as Old Kate, was cast in 1585 and paid for by the Lincoln barber surgeons company. The church was closed in 1931 and demolition was proposed. However, following a public outcry, the church was saved as the result of an appeal and renovation work undertaken. It was the headquarters of the Lincoln Diocese Mothers' Union but closed in 2018. In June 2020 it became the base for Lincoln Street Pastors [1] who go out on Saturday and Friday nights to listen, help and care for all those out in the City of Lincoln during the night time economy hours. In April 2022 Unicorn Tree Books [2] moved in to become the Bookshop in St Benedict's when they had to relocate from Lincoln Central Market due to its closure.
