Saint Martin's Catholic Academy (formerly Saint Martin's Catholic High School) is a coeducational 11-16 Roman Catholic secondary school located in Stoke Golding, near to Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. It is part of the Diocese of Nottingham, and is built on the same grounds as the former Dominican nunnery.

Stoke Golding is a village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England, close to the county border with Warwickshire. According to the 2001 census, the total population was 1,721 in just over 700 houses. The population at the 2011 census was 1,684 in 723 households. The village is 16 miles (26 km) from the city of Leicester, about 3 miles (4.8 km) northwest of Hinckley and 4 miles (6.4 km) from Fenny Drayton. The village is bordered on one side by the Ashby Canal, well-used for recreational purposes.

Hinckley power station supplied electricity to the town of Hinckley and the wider Leicestershire area from 1913. It was operated by the Leicestershire and Warwickshire Electric Power Company Limited until nationalization of the British electricity supply industry in 1948. The power station continued operation until the early 1950s.

Dadlington is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Dadlington and Sutton Cheney, in the Hinckley and Bosworth district, in Leicestershire, England. It is situated between Hinckley, Market Bosworth and Nuneaton. In 1931 the parish had a population of 200.The village has a population of around 301 and contains a 13th-century church (St. James), a pub (the Dog and Hedgehog) and a hotel (the Ambion Court). The Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal runs through the village.

Hijaz College is a British Muslim school located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England. Hijaz College combines traditional Islamic education with the British National Curriculum. The philosophy of Hijaz was formulated by its patron and founder Abdul Wahab Siddiqi (1942–94) in 1994. As of 2016 its principal was his eldest son Shaykh Faiz-ul-Aqtab Siddiqi. The Jamia Islamia in Coventry, founded in 1979, produced dozens of graduates who became fully qualified Ulema (scholars of Islam) and doctors, lawyers, engineers etc. As of 2008, Hijaz College is run by the Chief Executive Shaikh Tauqir Ishaq, a chartered civil engineer by profession and Islamic scholar. The LLB law degree is also taught combined with religious sciences. Graduates of Hijaz College are awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Law and Theology and are qualified in Islamic jurisprudence, Qur'anic and Hadith sciences and Arabic etymology. In 1994 the vision of Hijaz College started to take a different shape in the form of Hijaz College Islamic University. The college takes its name from the region in modern-day Saudi Arabia which comprises Mecca, Medina and Taif. Hijaz College has grown in many aspects, one of them being its expansion project covering a total extended area of 97,000 sq ft (9,000 m2), costing over £5 million and intended to increase the student accommodation capacity from 125 to 500 (as of 2008) Its plans include extended teaching facilities and resources including a library which will display over 700,000 books. Hijaz College is independent from any governmental organisation. In December 2007, the UK's first official sharia court was set up at Hijaz college. By September 2008, it had settled more than 100 civil disputes between Muslims. Once parties have agreed to bring their case before the sharia tribunal, they are bound to its decision by English law.

Coventry Road Cricket Ground was a cricket ground in Hinckley, Leicestershire. It was located along Coventry Road to the south, Trinity Lane to the east, with Trinity Vicarage Road to the north. Established in 1946, the ground had a capacity of 3,500.

St Mary's Parish Church is the oldest building in Hinckley, and is situated in central Hinckley. It is an Anglican Parish Church in the Diocese of Leicester and is designated by Historic England as a Grade II* listed building. In addition, the North Chapel of the Church has been converted into a coffee bar.

Stoke Golding railway station is a disused railway station on the former Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway. It served the village of Stoke Golding. It closed in 1931 to passengers but closed to parcel traffic in 1951. Goods continued to pass through until 1962 when the line was closed from Shenton to Stoke Golding. The site is now a private residence and the goods yard is now an industrial estate.

Hinckley is a market town in south-west Leicestershire, England. It is administered by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Hinckley is the third largest settlement in the administrative county of Leicestershire, after Leicester and Loughborough. Hinckley is about halfway between Leicester and Coventry and borders Nuneaton in Warwickshire. Watling Street forms part of the Hinckley/Nuneaton border. Hinckley proper was recorded as having a population of 34,202, in the 2021 census. Hinckley is contiguous with the village of Burbage. The population of the combined urban area of Hinckley and Burbage was 50,712 in 2021.

Concordia Theatre is a theatre located on Stockwell Head in Hinckley, England, located in the centre of the town. The theatre opened their doors publicly on 28 November 1972, with the first production at the venue being a sold-out production of The Sound of Music.

Kendall's Meadow is a 2.7-hectare (6.7-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Stoke Golding in Leicestershire.Over a dozen grass species grow on this traditionally managed hay meadow, such as common bent, red fescue, crested dog's tail and yellow oat grass. There are also many herbs including cat's ear and yellow rattle.The site is private land with no public access.
