Granville was a town located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. One portion was incorporated as the village of Brown Deer in 1955; the remainder consolidated with the City of Milwaukee in 1956, and became a neighborhood of Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Open was a professional golf tournament in Wisconsin on the PGA Tour, played only in 1940. It was held August 2–4 at North Hills Country Club in Menomenee Falls, northwest of Milwaukee. Three-time major winner Ralph Guldahl shot a final round 67 (−4) to win the event at 268 (−16), two shots ahead of runner-up Ed Oliver. It was his first victory in sixteen months, since the Masters in 1939. The purse was $5,000 with a winner's share of $1,200.Johnny Bulla led after 54 holes at 197 (−16), a new scoring record for the tour. Playing with Guldahl, he carded a 75 (+4) in the final round and fell into a tie for fourth, four strokes back. With nine holes remaining, Bulla led Guldahl by three strokes, but then shot 39 (+3) while Guldahl made up seven strokes with 32 (−4).The 72-hole event began on Friday, and the final two rounds were played on Sunday. North Hills later hosted the Blue Ribbon Open (1951) and the final two editions of the Milwaukee Open Invitational (1960, 1961).

The Milwaukee Open Invitational was a professional golf tournament in Wisconsin on the PGA Tour. It was played seven times from 1955 through 1961 at different courses in the Milwaukee area. During its final year, Arnold Palmer skipped the tournament to prepare for the British Open, which he won. The field at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls did include 21-year-old Jack Nicklaus of Ohio State, already a veteran of eight majors and the reigning NCAA champion, he won his second U.S. Amateur a month later. The purse was $30,000 and Bruce Crampton won by a stroke; his winner's share was $4,300. Nicklaus was three strokes back at 275 (−5), tied for sixth. Two won the event twice, both at different courses: Cary Middlecoff (1955, 1958) and Ken Venturi (1957, 1960). Miller Brewing Company was the title sponsor for the first five editions; the tournament was initiated in 1955 with a five-year agreement, part of the company's centennial celebration.

The Blue Ribbon Open was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, played only in 1951. It was held in Wisconsin at the North Hills Country Club in Menomenee Falls, northwest of Milwaukee. Part-time Hollywood actor Joe Kirkwood Jr. won the event at 271 (–13), two shots over runners-up Sam Snead and Jim Ferrier, the 54-hole leader. The purse was $20,000 with a winner's share of $2,750. Kirkwood equaled the course record in the final round with a seven-under 64. He had won on tour three years earlier at the Philadelphia Inquirer Open. Following the win, Kirkwood left to go fishing in northern Wisconsin.North Hills was the site of the Milwaukee Open in 1940 and later hosted the Milwaukee Open Invitational in 1960 and 1961.

Harold S. Vincent High School is a public high school located on 7501 North Granville Road in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The school is part of the Milwaukee Public Schools. Vincent's official student enrollment is 744 for the 2022-2023 school year. Vincent's student enrollment was 1,630 during the 2004–2005 school year. The school has several sports teams including football, basketball, and track & field. Vincent High School was awarded a Blue Ribbon Presidential School of Excellence award in 1987 by The United States Department of Education.It serves the community of Granville.

Menomonee Falls High School is a four-year public high school located in the village of Menomonee Falls in Waukesha County, Wisconsin in the United States. It is a part of the Menomonee Falls School District. The district (and therefore the high school's attendance boundary) covers most of Menomonee Falls, a section of Lannon, and a small section of Milwaukee in Waukesha County.

Buildings 1992 is a public art work by American artist Susan Walsh, located on the northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The architectural sculpture was created for the Milwaukee Fire Department station at the intersection of 103rd Street and Fond du Lac Avenue.

Northridge Mall was a shopping mall located in the northern part of Milwaukee, Wisconsin that first opened in August 1972. It was developed by Taubman Centers. The mall's original anchor stores were JCPenney, Sears, Boston Store, and Gimbels. Gimbels was sold to Marshall Field's, then H. C. Prange Co., and finally Younkers. The mall underwent a period of decline and was shuttered in 2003.

Gear 23 is a public art work by artist Steven Feren. It is installed at the Milwaukee Fire Department's Engine Company #4 station on the northwest side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Main Street Historic District is a cluster of historic buildings around the intersection of Main Street and Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.Menomonee Falls was established in 1836 near a series of rapids of the Menomonee River. The river was dammed to power sawmills and wheat mills, and homes and other businesses grew around the mills. The surrounding lands provided timber, limestone to be quarried, and farmlands. The historic district coincides roughly with the old "Four Corners" area of Menomonee Fall, including the industrial area along the river and business district where Main Street meets Appleton Avenue.Here are some surviving historic buildings in the district, roughly in the order built: The Coates and Ostrander Store at N88 W16672 Main Street is a 2-story store built between 1864 and 1869 by Adam Ploss. The building has a wedge-shaped footprint to fit its corner lot, with cream brick walls and a bracketed cornice which drew on Italianate style. The building initially housed a general store and post office owned by Coates and Ostrander. In 1870 it was taken over by John Seabold and John Vollard, then in 1886 by Lorenz Debus, Morris A Schmoyer, and Frederick Nehs, then others. In 1941 it became the Wagner Drugstore, which later became Lohmiller's Drug. The Adam Ploss Shop and Residence at N88 W16475 Main Street is a 2-story brick structure built in 1879. It has segmental arched windows, wide eaves with brackets, and a hip roof. Ploss was an immigrant from Bavaria who built cabinets, furniture, and whole buildings. He also co-founded a sash and door factory. Over the years the building also housed milliner, tailor and shoe shops. The Enterprise Roller Mill at N88 W16447 Main Street is a 3-story mill beside the Menomonee River, built in 1891. It has walls of limestone quarried from the Harmon Stone Quarries at Lannon. It was also called the Schlafer, Huebner and Shlafer Roller Mill. In 1955 it was converted to offices and non-milling industrial space. The Obermann-Weber Block at N82 W16370 Main Street is a 2-story commercial block built in 1892 by the J. Obermann Brewing Co. of Milwaukee to house its saloon. The styling is Romanesque Revival, characterized by the rough stone trim and the round arches. In 1892 and 1894 the building also housed the Stolberg and Mayer Grocery, John Lunn's law office, and a tailor shop, as well as social clubs and events. In 1910 the Jung Brewery had a saloon there. In 1930 John Weber bought the building and renamed it. The C.W. Fraser Building at N88 W16723-25 Appleton Avenue (at left in the photo) is a 2-story wedge-shaped building with a corner turret and round-arched windows. It was built in 1891 by businessman Cameron W. Fraser, and it housed the Citizen's State Bank in which he was involved. Also the post office, the Menomonee Falls News, and the Menomonee Falls Telephone Company, of which Fraser was the President. Early on it also housed a drug store and doctors' offices. Emma and Hans Mueller's Cafe at N88 W16718 Appleton Avenue is a 2-story brick building designed by Martin Finch White with its brick and geometric decorations influenced by Prairie School style and built in 1921. It housed cafes and restaurants for many years. Early on it also housed offices of Dr. Dormann and Dr. Berndt.

Madison University High School (formerly James Madison High School) is a high school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, part of the Milwaukee Public Schools system. It changed its name in 1996 to reflect a higher emphasis on meeting academic standards.

Uihlein Soccer Park is a 4,000-seat stadium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin built in 1994. This stadium was originally the home of Milwaukee Rampage, then Milwaukee Wave United. The park has been host to many teams, including the US Women's National Team, and national teams from South Korea, the Netherlands, and Australia. In addition, the University of Wisconsin Badgers men's team has also utilized the park. The WIAA boys and girls state soccer championships have been played at Uihlein Soccer Park since 2003. The surrounding pitches include 1 alternate stadium (Pat Jones Stadium), and as many as 11 full sided and 3 small sided fields. These pitches are used for tournaments and games for Milwaukee area soccer clubs. Uihlein Soccer Park was built as a joint venture between the city and the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club. Uihlein Soccer Park has also been used for Lacrosse tournaments (Hot 4 Lax), Ultimate Frisbee games (Milwaukee Ultimate), and Hurling matches (Milwaukee Hurling Club). The indoor building holds three indoor soccer fields measuring 182 feet by 84 feet each.
