William E. Dodge House, also known as Greyston Conference Center, is a historic home located in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale in the Bronx in New York City. It was built in 1863 and designed by architect James Renwick, Jr. It is a 2+1⁄2-story masonry structure in the Gothic Revival style. It was built for copper tycoon William E. Dodge, Jr. (1832–1903) as a summer residence and expanded in 1892 as a year-round suburban home. It was formally dedicated on May 27, 1963, as the Greyston Conference Center, of Teachers College, Columbia University.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Riverdale is a residential neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of the Bronx. Riverdale, which had a population of 47,850 as of the 2000 United States Census, contains the city's northernmost point, at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Wave Hill is a 28-acre (11 ha) estate in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale in the Bronx, New York City. Wave Hill currently consists of public horticultural gardens and a cultural center, all situated on the slopes overlooking the Hudson River, with expansive views across the river to the New Jersey Palisades. The estate includes two houses and a botanical garden. The oldest part of the main house, Wave Hill House, dates back to 1843; Glyndor House dates from 1927 and contains a multi-room art gallery. Perkins Visitor Center, which was originally a garage, contains a gift shop and an information desk. During the late 19th century and early 20th century, numerous highly notable people resided in Wave Hill, either because they owned it, leased it, or stayed there as guests. In 1960, the estate was given to the City of New York, and Wave Hill is now a cultural center as well as a garden. In addition to visual arts exhibits, paid-ticket concert series take place on some Sunday afternoons in Armor Hall. Wave Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a New York City designated landmark.

Hudson Hill, also known as Riverdale Estates, is a neighborhood of Riverdale in the New York City borough of The Bronx, bordered by the Henry Hudson Parkway on the east, the Hudson River on the west, West 246th Street on the south and West 254th Street on the north.

The Riverdale Temple is a Reform synagogue in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. The congregation was founded in 1947.In the 2009 New York City bomb plot, a group of American Muslims planned to blow up the temple. On May 30, 2009, New York Governor David Paterson announced he would give the Riverdale Jewish Center and the Riverdale Temple $25,000 each to improve their security. The money will come from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and will primarily involve the installation of alarms and surveillance equipment.In 2009, the rabbi was Judith S. Lewis. In July 2015, Rabbi Lewis retired and was succeeded by Rabbi Thomas Gardner.

A branch of the Telshe Yeshiva, the Yeshiva of Telshe Alumni is located in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale, a neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City. It was founded in the early 1980s by Rabbi Avraham Ausband, a grandson of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Bloch, the Telzer Rav; by Rabbi Yaakov Reisman, a son-in-law of Telzer Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Mordechai Gifter; and by a talmid (Heb: student) of Rabbi Mordechai Gifter, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Libersohn, who came from Argentina for this purpose. The Yeshiva, with an enrollment of approximately two hundred, is currently headed by Harav Ausband Shlita. The Yeshiva building, located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, across the street from Wave Hill, formerly housed the Manhattan Hebrew High School until it ceased operations at the end of the 1980–81 school year. The building at 640 West 249th Street was originally constructed around 1929 as a mansion for Anthony Campagna, a prominent real estate developer.

Henry F. Spaulding Coachman's House is a historic home located at Riverdale, The Bronx in New York, New York. It was built about 1880 and is representative of the Stick-Eastlake style. The main section is a 2+1⁄2-story cottage dwelling with board and batten siding. It features jigsaw ornament, twin chimneys, and a polychromed slate roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Robert Colgate House, also known as Stonehurst, is a historic home located in the Hudson Hill section of the Bronx in New York City. It was built about 1860 and is a two-story picturesque Italianate villa built of ashlar Maine granite. It features a low-pitched dormered roof with broad eaves surrounding a flat deck. It was built for Robert Colgate (1812–1885), son of pioneer soap manufacturer William Colgate.Colgate purchased the land in 1860 from Ann Cromwell; it had previously been owned by William G. Ackerman. The Riverdale Presbyterian Church was organized at a meeting held in Colgate's house in 1863.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Riverdale Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 4761-4765 Henry Hudson Parkway in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. It was designed in 1863 by architect James Renwick, Jr. The church is a fieldstone building in an English-inspired Late Gothic Revival style. It was substantially enlarged in 1936. The complex also includes a stone manse, the Duff House, also designed by Renwick, and a Stick Style cottage, called the Duff or Gardener's Cottage, built in 1875. In his original design for the Duff House, Renwick combined a mansard roof with gables and dormers in the Gothic Revival style.The complex was designated a New York City landmark in 1966, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The congregation established the Edgehill Church at Spuyten Duyvil in 1869 as a chapel; it is now an independent church.

The David A. Stein Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy is a public middle school and high school in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. It serves roughly 1,500 students. The school opened as Junior High School 141 in 1957 after a years-long crusade by local parents and The Riverdale Press to bring new schools to a neighborhood that was experiencing explosive growth. A similar effort added the high school in 1999. In 1983, in recognition of the role he and his newspaper had played in advocating for construction of the school, the city named it in honor of David A. Stein, the founder and publisher of The Riverdale Press, who had died a year earlier.

Raoul Wallenberg Forest is a New York City park located in Riverdale, New York named after Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Hungarian Jewish people.

The Riverdale Jewish Center is an Orthodox synagogue in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City.The synagogue was founded by the Communal Services Division of Yeshiva University and has always identified itself as a bastion of that institution. Its rabbis included its founder Jacob Sable, Irving Greenberg, Yehezkel Hartmann, Joshua Shmidman, Abner Weiss and Jonathan Rosenblatt. The rabbi is Rabbi Yitzi Genack, while the Senior Rabbi is Rabbi Dovid Zirkind. In the 2009 New York City bomb plot the New York City Police Department foiled a plot by American Muslims to bomb the synagogue. On May 30, 2009, New York Governor David Paterson announced he would give the Center and the Riverdale Reform Temple $25,000 each to improve their security. The charter school Atmosphere Academy uses part of the building during the week for 8th grade classes.
