Hudson Hill, also known as Riverdale Estates, is a neighborhood of Riverdale in the New York City borough of The Bronx, bordered by the Henry Hudson Parkway on the east, the Hudson River on the west, West 246th Street on the south and West 254th Street on the north.

Henry F. Spaulding Coachman's House is a historic home located at Riverdale, The Bronx in New York, New York. It was built about 1880 and is representative of the Stick-Eastlake style. The main section is a 2+1⁄2-story cottage dwelling with board and batten siding. It features jigsaw ornament, twin chimneys, and a polychromed slate roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Riverdale Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 4761-4765 Henry Hudson Parkway in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. It was designed in 1863 by architect James Renwick, Jr. The church is a fieldstone building in an English-inspired Late Gothic Revival style. It was substantially enlarged in 1936. The complex also includes a stone manse, the Duff House, also designed by Renwick, and a Stick Style cottage, called the Duff or Gardener's Cottage, built in 1875. In his original design for the Duff House, Renwick combined a mansard roof with gables and dormers in the Gothic Revival style.The complex was designated a New York City landmark in 1966, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The congregation established the Edgehill Church at Spuyten Duyvil in 1869 as a chapel; it is now an independent church.

William E. Dodge House, also known as Greyston Conference Center, is a historic home located in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale in the Bronx in New York City. It was built in 1863 and designed by architect James Renwick, Jr. It is a 2+1⁄2-story masonry structure in the Gothic Revival style. It was built for copper tycoon William E. Dodge, Jr. (1832–1903) as a summer residence and expanded in 1892 as a year-round suburban home. It was formally dedicated on May 27, 1963, as the Greyston Conference Center, of Teachers College, Columbia University.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Wave Hill is a 28-acre (11 ha) estate in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale in the Bronx, New York City. Wave Hill currently consists of public horticultural gardens and a cultural center, all situated on the slopes overlooking the Hudson River, with expansive views across the river to the New Jersey Palisades. The estate includes two houses and a botanical garden. The oldest part of the main house, Wave Hill House, dates back to 1843; Glyndor House dates from 1927 and contains a multi-room art gallery. Perkins Visitor Center, which was originally a garage, contains a gift shop and an information desk. During the late 19th century and early 20th century, numerous highly notable people resided in Wave Hill, either because they owned it, leased it, or stayed there as guests. In 1960, the estate was given to the City of New York, and Wave Hill is now a cultural center as well as a garden. In addition to visual arts exhibits, paid-ticket concert series take place on some Sunday afternoons in Armor Hall. Wave Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a New York City designated landmark.

Riverdale is a residential neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of the Bronx. Riverdale, which had a population of 47,850 as of the 2000 United States Census, contains the city's northernmost point, at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. Riverdale's boundaries are disputed, but it is commonly agreed to be bordered by Yonkers to the north, Van Cortlandt Park and Broadway to the east, the Kingsbridge neighborhood to the southeast, either the Harlem River or the Spuyten Duyvil neighborhood to the south, and the Hudson River to the west. Riverdale Avenue is the primary north–south thoroughfare through Riverdale.The neighborhood is part of Bronx Community District 8, and its ZIP Codes include 10463 and 10471. The area is patrolled by the 50th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.

On the morning of October 8, 2000, the eve of Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish year, two Molotov cocktails were thrown, but did not ignite, at the door of the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale (CSAIR) in the Bronx in New York City. Two Palestinian men were arrested and found guilty for the attack, and were the first suspects to be prosecuted under recently-enacted New York's Hate Crimes Act of 2000. Mazin Assi was found guilty on seven counts of weapons possession, harassment and attempted arson, along with hate crimes violations and received 15 years in prison. The getaway driver Mohammed Alfaqih was found guilty on one count of criminal mischief and sentenced to four years in prison.

The Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale (CSAIR), founded in 1954, is a Conservative, egalitarian congregation and a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. The synagogue is located in the Riverdale, Bronx, neighborhood of New York City. The congregation's spiritual leader is Rabbi Barry Dov Katz, who was appointed to the position in 1998.

The Riverdale Temple is a Reform synagogue in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. The congregation was founded in 1947.In the 2009 New York City bomb plot, a group of American Muslims planned to blow up the temple. On May 30, 2009, New York Governor David Paterson announced he would give the Riverdale Jewish Center and the Riverdale Temple $25,000 each to improve their security. The money will come from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and will primarily involve the installation of alarms and surveillance equipment.In 2009, the rabbi was Judith S. Lewis. In July 2015, Rabbi Lewis retired and was succeeded by Rabbi Thomas Gardner.

Christ Church Riverdale is a historic Episcopal parish church and related structures at 5040 Henry Hudson Parkway East in Riverdale, Bronx, New York City. The church was founded in 1866 and its building, made from brick and local stone with a simple pierced-wall belfry; the church building was built in 1866 to designs by architect Richard M. Upjohn. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The building underwent exterior restoration in 1991 and 1992, and it was designated as a New York City landmark.Rev. Gustav Cartensen was Rector until 1919. He was the first to permit attendance of black children from a nearby "Negro orphan asylum". He was then invited to take the pulpit at Holyrood Episcopal Church. His "liberal" positions garnered "widespread publicity," according to The New York Times. Members of Christ Church today are drawn to the congregation's vibrant diversity, with people who have come together from many different countries and many faith traditions to form a warm and supportive community. Fr. Andrew G. Butler III is since 2014 the Rector of Christ Church Riverdale, after serving parishes in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Robert Colgate House, also known as Stonehurst, is a historic home located in the Hudson Hill section of the Bronx in New York City. It was built about 1860 and is a two-story picturesque Italianate villa built of ashlar Maine granite. It features a low-pitched dormered roof with broad eaves surrounding a flat deck. It was built for Robert Colgate (1812–1885), son of pioneer soap manufacturer William Colgate.Colgate purchased the land in 1860 from Ann Cromwell; it had previously been owned by William G. Ackerman. The Riverdale Presbyterian Church was organized at a meeting held in Colgate's house in 1863.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Riverdale Park is a park along the Hudson River in Riverdale, The Bronx, New York City. It is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long and one block wide.: overleaf  It averages 9 meters above sea level. It is located along Palisade Avenue and entered at Dodge Lane (247th Street). The northern border is 254th Street and the park extends as far south as 232nd Street. It is adjacent to the grounds of Wave Hill.
