Ratamka (Belarusian: Ратамка; Russian: Ратомка, romanized: Ratomka) is an agrotown in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is administratively part of Zhdanovichy selsoviet. It is located five kilometres (3.1 mi) west of the capital Minsk. In 2010, it had a population of 4,830.

Zhdanovichy (Belarusian: Ждановічы, romanized: Ždanovičy; Russian: Ждановичи, romanized: Zhdanovichi) is an agrotown in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Zhdanovichy selsoviet. It is located one kilometre (0.62 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road, northwest of the capital Minsk. In 1997, it had a population of 5,669. In 2010, it had a population of 7,815. As of 2023, it has a population of 10,298.

Syomkava (Belarusian: Сёмкава, romanized: Siomkava; Russian: Сёмково, romanized: Syomkovo) is an agrotown in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is administratively part of Papyernya rural council. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) northwest of the capital Minsk. In 2001, it had a population of 1,461. In 2010, it had a population of 1,625.

Dinamo-Yuni Stadium is a football stadium in Minsk, Belarus. It is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Dinamo Minsk. The stadium holds 4,500 people and was opened in 2000. Until 2008, the stadium was named Darida Stadium and was a home ground for FC Darida Minsk Raion. After the team's dissolution in late 2008, the stadium was bought by Dinamo Minsk and renamed to its current name, Dinamo-Yuni Stadium.In early 2013, the stadium was closed for the renovation. It was reopened on 3 September 2021.

It serves as the administrative center of Khatsyezhyna selsoviet. It is located six kilometres (3.7 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road, west of the capital Minsk. In 1997, it had a population of 921. In 2002, it had a population of 936. In 2010, it had a population of 1,485.

The Principality of Minsk was an appanage principality of the Principality of Polotsk and centered on the city of Minsk (today in Belarus). It existed from its founding in 1101 until it was nominally annexed by the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1242, and then fell under de facto annexation in 1326.

The Drazdy conflict (sometimes spelled Drozdy) was a July 1998 incident involving the Government of Belarus and diplomats from other nations. It began with the leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, declaring the Drazdy Complex as property of the government and shutting it down for repairs. The Drazdy Complex housed several diplomats from various nations, including several Western nations. Though Lukashenko tried to negotiate a situation with Western powers, such as France and Germany, by appointing Uladzimir Herasimovich for talks, the situation was not solved in time. In protest of the incident, the US temporarily recalled its ambassador, Daniel V. Speckhard, who spent one year back in Washington before returning to Belarus. One of the results of the incident was that the European Union issued Lukashenko and approximately 130 other government officials with travel bans that prevented them from traveling to fourteen of the then-fifteen EU states. This also began to lead the United States and non-EU states to issue similar bans (the United States has an exemption for visits to the United Nations headquarters in New York City, New York by the banned officials). According to ITAR-TASS and BelaPAN, the Drazdy Complex is now used as a residence for the president and the evicted diplomats were given new locations in Minsk.
