The Trapp Family Lodge is a 2,500-acre (10 km2) resort located in Stowe, Vermont. It is managed by Sam von Trapp, son of Johannes von Trapp of the Austrian musical family, the Trapps. It was formerly known as Cor Unum (Latin for One Heart).

The Lamoille-1 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Lamoille-1 District includes all of the Lamoille County town of Stowe. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Lamoille-1 District had a population of 4,339 in that same census, 6.9% above the state average.

The Stowe Recreation Path, also called the Stowe Bike Path, is a greenway located in Stowe, Vermont, United States The 5.3-mile (8.5 km) recreation trail was built in two phases, 1981–84 and 1986–89, at a total cost of US$680,000. The Stowe Recreation Path has received several awards and honors, and many people consider it a great improvement to the town.

The Gables Inn was a historic inn in Stowe, Vermont, United States. Located on the Mountain Road, Vermont Route 108, it was built in 1840 and was converted into an inn in 1938. It was demolished in 2020, having closed two years earlier.The main inn consisted of twelve bedrooms, while two annex buildings (the Carriage House and the Riverview Suites) contained four and two rooms, respectively. (In 1994, the New York Times stated the inn had nineteen rooms, not eighteen.)The last proprietors of the inn were New York natives Randy Stern and Annette Monachelli, who purchased it in September 1999 from Sol, Lynn and Josh Baumrind. Shortly afterward, Stern posted an advert in the Stowe Reporter saying: "The leaves will change; The Gables will not." Stern became the chef for the inn's restaurant, which had been noted for its breakfasts, and Monachelli was the inn's hostess. Monachelli, a former attorney, died in 2013, of complications following a cerebral aneurysm she had around a week earlier. She was 47.In 2019, Stern sold the inn to Eric and Robin Gershman and moved to Waterbury, Vermont. After consulting with an engineer, the Gershmans decided that the building's substandard condition meant it was more prudent to raze the structure rather than renovate it. As of 2022, the site of the inn remains vacant. The Carriage House, which was built by the Baumrinds adjacent to the inn to the northeast, is still in use, as are the Riverview Suites a short distance to the southwest, on Meadow Lane.

The Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum is a winter sports museum in Vermont. It was founded in 1988 in Brandon, Vermont as The Vermont Ski Museum. In 2000, the museum moved to Stowe and opened to the public at its current location in 2002.In 2011, the word snowboarding was added to the museum's name. Currently, the museum changes exhibits annually, except the Hall of Fame.The museum's main objective is to "collect, preserve, and celebrate Vermont's skiing and snowboarding history." Its mission is: to utilize the resources belonging and accessible to the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum to create visually stimulating, historically in-depth exhibits that fulfill this mission that fulfill the mission to Collect, Preserve and Celebrate Vermont's Skiing and Snowboarding History.

Stowe is a town in Lamoille County, Vermont, United States. The population was 5,223 at the 2020 census. The town lies on Vermont Routes 108 and 100. It is nicknamed "The Ski Capital of the East" and is home to Stowe Mountain Resort, a ski facility with terrain on Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont, and Spruce Peak.

Moscow is an unincorporated community in the town of Stowe in Lamoille County, Vermont, United States.

The Moscow Village Historic District encompasses a former 19th-century industrial village in southern Stowe, Vermont. Centered on the Little River at its Moscow Road crossing, the village prospered into the early 20th century as a woodworking center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Green Mountain Inn is located on Main Street (Vermont Route 100) in Stowe, Vermont, United States. Built in 1833, it stands near the intersection of Route 100 and Mountain Road (Route 108). The main inn building, the former Depot buildings and Sanborn House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Stowe Village Historic District.The inn has 104 rooms in its eight buildings, up from 64 rooms in 1994 and 76 rooms in 1998.It contains the Whip Bar & Grill restaurant, which features beams from a large stable that formerly stood on the site of the inn's annex wing and which was torn down in 1953 due to its being a fire risk.

The Stowe Village Historic District encompasses most of the village center of Stowe, Vermont. The village has since the 19th century been one of Vermont's major resort centers, and its center is architecturally reflective of this history, It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
