Mornington is a town on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 46 km (29 mi) south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, and the most populous town in the Shire of Mornington Peninsula local government area. Mornington had a population of 25,759 at the 2021 census.Mornington is known for its "village" atmosphere and its beaches. Mornington is a tourist destination with Melburnians who make day trips to visit the area's bay beaches and wineries. The town centre runs into the foreshore area and local beach.

Padua College is a Catholic co-educational Secondary College located in Victoria, Australia. The college derives its name from Franciscan friar Saint Anthony of Padua (1195–1231). The Mornington campus alone provides for Approx. 1,921 students from across the Mornington Peninsula. Narambi railway station was a single platform located on the corner of Narambi Road and Richardson Drive, Mornington, Victoria, Australia. After it closed, some of the platform infrastructure was reused at the new site of Mornington railway station. For a brief period of time before the opening of the new Mornington railway station, Narambi was used as the terminus of the reopened part of the line run by the Mornington Railway Preservation Society, with tickets only being sold at Moorooduc.

The Shire of Mornington was a local government area about 50 kilometres (30 mi) south of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia, encompassing the western extremity of the Mornington Peninsula. The shire covered an area of 90.65 square kilometres (35.0 sq mi) immediately to the south of Frankston, and existed from 1860 until 1994.

Sunnyside North Beach is a clothes-optional beach located at Mount Eliza, Port Philip Bay, in the State of Victoria, Australia. It is designated as a legal nudist beach under the Nudity (Prescribed Areas) Act 1983. It is the only clothes-optional beach on the east side of Port Philip Bay.

RPP FM is a community radio station in the Mornington Peninsula region of Victoria, Australia. The radio station was established in 1984 to provide a local community radio service to the region.

Mornington railway station was located on Railway Grove, Mornington, Victoria, Australia. Its first train arrived on 10 September 1889 and the last one departed on 20 May 1981. In 1989, the old station site was sold by the state government and had a shopping centre built on the site. On 19 September 2004, a plaque was unveiled adjacent to the site to commemorate 150 years of rail in Victoria.

Moorooduc railway station is located on Two Bays Road, Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. The station is home to the Mornington Railway Preservation Society. Adjacent to the station is the Mount Eliza Regional Park which incorporates the Moorooduc Quarry Flora and Fauna Reserve. Moorooduc station has one platform, which terminates services on the line. Only one track is currently used for services, with the other five are for train maintenance, storage, repairs and locomotives changing ends.
