Q3 Academy Langley is a coeducational secondary school located in the Langley Green area of Oldbury in the West Midlands of England.There has been a school located at this site since 1926, firstly named Oldbury County High School and then Oldbury Grammar School, Oldbury High School, Langley High School, Oldbury College of Sport and prior to demolition, Oldbury Academy. The current Q3 Academy school opened in 2016 following site clearance and the development of an entirely new school.

Warley is a residential area of Oldbury in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell in the West Midlands of the United Kingdom. Historically in both Worcestershire and Shropshire, the name has been used for both a civil parish (1884–1908) and a county borough (1966–1974). Warley has been the name of a UK Parliament constituency since 1997.

Bristnall Hall Academy (formerly Bristnall Hall Technology College and Bristnall Hall High School) is a secondary school with academy status located in Oldbury, West Midlands, England.

Langley Green is an area of Oldbury, on the B4169 road, in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the English county of West Midlands. The appropriate ward of Sandwell is simply called Langley. The population at the 2011 census was 12,969. Langley Green has a library, a theatre and a railway station called Langley Green railway station. The Oldbury Rep Theatre, which had its first production in 1944, moved to its current location in 1956. The theatre is Sandwell's only purpose-built theatre. It hosts a variety of productions and has established itself as a community theatre providing a venue for local organisations and schools. Before 1844, the locality was shared between the counties of Shropshire and Worcestershire in an extremely complicated manner. Langley Green is the birthplace of footballer Fred Wheldon who played for local clubs Rood End White Star and Langley Green Victoria in the mid-to-late 1880s before moving on to Small Heath in 1890, Aston Villa in 1896 and West Bromwich Albion in 1900. He was capped four times for England. In the summer months he played cricket for Worcestershire.

Londonderry is a residential area of Oldbury and Smethwick, on the B4182 road, in the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough, in the English county of West Midlands. Londonderry (commonly referred to as Queen's Head due to the pub of the same name) features a small commercial area, with a post office, the former Queen's Head public house, and a number of small shops and takeaway restaurants. Not far away, on the corner of Basons Lane and Victoria Road, stood the public house, The Londonderry, until its closing and demolition in 2009. In 2016 construction began to renovate The Queen's Head pub into a private veterinary clinic. A church, playing field, are in the area and West Smethwick Park nearby. The Sandwell Aquatics Centre off Londonderry Lane hosted swimming and diving for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Warley is a constituency in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. The constituency was established in 1997, and has been represented since that date by John Spellar, a member of the Labour Party.

Oldbury Academy (formerly Oldbury College of Sport) is a mixed secondary school and former sixth form located in Oldbury, West Midlands, England. It opened as a merger of Warley High School (formerly Oldbury Tech) and Langley High School (formerly Oldbury Grammar) on 1 January 1999 The head teacher, John Martin, led the merger of the two schools from 1983 until 1999. Phil Shackleton took over as head teacher from then on.

Langley Green railway station serves the Langley Green area of Oldbury in Sandwell, in the West Midlands, England. It is located on the Birmingham to Worcester via Kidderminster Line. The station is managed by West Midlands Trains, who provide the majority of train services; there are also occasional services provided by Chiltern Railways.

The Church of Our Lady and St Hubert is a Roman Catholic church in Warley, West Midlands, England, and in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. It was built in 1934, and is Grade II listed.

Langley Maltings is a former maltings in Oldbury, West Midlands, England. Built in 1898, it was in operation until 2006. It was damaged by fire in 2009. It is a Grade II listed building, listed on 18 March 1974. It has been named by the Victorian Society as a heritage building at risk of disrepair.

Sandwell Aquatics Centre is an indoor facility located in Londonderry, Smethwick, West Midlands, England. It contains an Olympic-size swimming pool (one of only two in the West Midlands region), a 10-metre diving board with 25 metre pool (the only one in the whole of the Midlands), a community swimming pool and permanent seating for 1,000 spectators with an additional 4,000 seats during the Games. Construction began in January 2020 and opened on 12 April 2022 to mark 100 days until the start of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. The centre was initially used for the 2022 Commonwealth Games and was the only venue constructed for the games. After the games, the centre is scheduled to be redeveloped and will officially open for public use in May 2023 when it will be operated by the Sandwell Leisure Trust. During the redevelopment, seating used for the Games will be removed and two 4-court sports halls, a 108-station gym, a 28-station ladies-only gym, three activity studios, an indoor cycling studio, a sauna, a steam room, a football pitch with changing facilities, a dry diving area, an urban park and children's playground, and café will be created.Funding for the centre comes from several sources. Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is contributing £27 million, with £38.5 million coming from the overall Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games budget. A further £7.6 million is from Sport England, Black Country LEP, Sandwell Leisure Trust (SLT) and University of Wolverhampton.

Brandhall is a suburb of Oldbury in the south of the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, West Midlands, bordering Birmingham and Halesowen. The development of the area commenced during the 1930s with the construction of several hundred private houses along the Hagley Road and Wolverhampton Road, as well as several side roads leading off the main dual carriageways. However, most of Brandhall was developed in the 1950s and 1960s, when several thousand council houses, flats and bungalows were built by Oldbury Council. Most of the high and medium-rise flats in Brandhall were demolished in the early 2000s and in their place housing associations built new low-rise homes. Brandhall is growing to be a more popular place due to the construction of new facilities, such as a local supermarket and a doctor's surgery. Brandhall (along with the rest of the Oldbury borough, and the neighbouring boroughs of Smethwick and Rowley Regis) became part of the County Borough of Warley in 1966, but this arrangement lasted just eight years until Warley merged with West Bromwich to form Sandwell Metropolitan Borough in 1974. Brandhall is home to secondary school, Perryfields Academy and two primary schools, Perryfields Primary School and Brandhall Primary School.
