Fawkner railway station

Fawkner Memorial Park is located in the north-western Melbourne suburb of Fawkner, Victoria, Australia. It is the largest cemetery by land size in the state, and managed by Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust.Merlynston Creek, a tributary of Merri Creek, is a major geographical feature running through both Fawkner Cemetery and the Northern Memorial Park.

Merlynston railway station is located on the Upfield line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the northern Melbourne suburb of Coburg North, and it opened on 8 October 1889 as North Coburg. It closed on 13 July 1903, and reopened on 1 October 1914. On February 6 1922, it was renamed Merlynston.

Coburg North recorded a population of 8,327 at the 2021 census.Although most of Coburg North is within the City of Merri-bek, a handful of properties on Elizabeth Street, Coburg North's eastern boundary, are located in the City of Darebin. The suburb lies north of Coburg, and has the same postcode (3058). The majority of Coburg North is zoned residential, though there are some industrial pockets. The major commercial strip on Sydney Road is primarily automotive-related businesses. Merlynston has a small shopping strip with some cafes. The rest of the suburb is reliant on corner shops for everyday needs.

Australian International Academy is an Islamic school group in various locations in Australia. The school was Australia's first Muslim college and was then known as King Khalid. Its primary school was set up in 1999 with a grant from Saudi Arabia, that being the only foreign money the school has received.The school has six campuses that offer the Australian National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate. Over the past decade, the Academy has expanded into New South Wales by purchasing a school in Strathfield South (Noor Al Houda Islamic College, originally Leigh College) and an additional campus in Kellyville.
