Laguna ([lɐguˈna]), officially the Province of Laguna (Filipino: Lalawigan ng Laguna), is a province in the Philippines located in the Calabarzon region in Luzon. Its capital is Santa Cruz while its largest city is the City of Calamba and the province is situated southeast of Metro Manila, south of the province of Rizal, west of Quezon, north of Batangas and east of Cavite. Laguna hugs the southern shores of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country. As of the 2020 census, the province's total population is 3,382,193. It is the seventh richest province in the country.Laguna is notable as the birthplace of José Rizal, the country's de facto national hero. It has numerous natural and cultural attractions such as Cavinti Falls aka Pagsanjan Falls, the University of the Philippines Los Baños and the University of the Philippines Open University in Los Baños, the hot spring resorts of Calamba on the slopes of Mount Makiling, Pila historic town plaza, Taytay Falls in Majayjay, the wood carvings and papier-mâché created by the people of Paete, the annual Sampaguita Festival in San Pedro, the turumba of Pakil, the tsinelas footwear from Liliw, the Pandan Festival of Luisiana, the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, and the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery in Nagcarlan. Laguna is part of Greater Manila Area along with Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan.

Lake Mohicap (also spelled as Mojicap) is one of the seven lakes of San Pablo City, in the province of Laguna, Philippines. The lake, located in Brgy. San Buenaventura, has an area of 14.5 hectares (36 acres) and is one of the main suppliers of water in the city. The waters of San Pablo Lakes provide a generous source of tilapia for Metro Manila and suburbs.

Calauan (IPA: [kalawan]), officially the Municipality of Calauan (Tagalog: Bayan ng Calauan), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. The municipality has a land area of 25.25 square miles which constitutes 3.41% of Laguna's total area. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 87,693 people.Situated at 73 kilometers (45 mi) southeast of Manila, via Calamba and Los Baños, and 26 kilometers (16 mi) from Santa Cruz. Calauan is known for the Pineapple Festival, which is celebrated every 15 May. The patron saint of Calauan is Isidore the Laborer, the patron of farmers, known in Spanish as San Isidro Labrador. Calauan's population is expected to rise, as the town is being used as resettlement of informal settlers in Metro Manila through the Bayan ni Juan and the Kapit-Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig project of the ABS-CBN Foundation. Popular destinations in the area include the Field of Faith situated in Barangay Lamot 2 and the Isdaan Floating Restaurant located along the National Highway going to Victoria Laguna.

Lake Palakpakin is one of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo in Laguna province in the Philippines. Palakpakin is located in Brgy. San Buenaventura, San Pablo City. With an area of 43 hectares (110 acres), it has a maximum depth of 7.5 metres (25 ft). Residents around the lake rely on income from fishpens and fishcages that grow cultured tilapia and silver carps.

Lake Calibato is one of the seven crater lakes collectively called Pitong Lawa or Seven Lakes of San Pablo in Laguna province in the Philippines. The lake is situated in Brgy. Sto. Angel in San Pablo City. Calibato has an area of 42 hectares (100 acres) and maximum depth of 135 metres (443 ft). Calibato's maximum water capacity is approximately 29,600 cubic metres (1,050,000 cu ft). Its supplies the city and nearby towns with abundant fish and aquatic plants. The lake is the deepest recorded lake among the seven-lake system; no recorded depths are available for Muhikap.

Rizal, officially the Municipality of Rizal (Tagalog: Bayan ng Rizal), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 18,332 people.The municipality, named after the country's national hero José Rizal, is one of the youngest municipalities in Laguna. This town is the birthplace of the milky mixed vegetable dish called "amenudong gulay". The people from this town have an old tradition of celebrating Christmas on January 6. There was also a legend of Michael the Archangel apparitions at the town's biggest natural spring "Bukal ni San Miguel" during the Spanish era, making St. Michael the town's patron saint. The Rizal Re-Recreational Center [1] which is a Christian retreat and recreational camp is also located within this town. The world's largest functional top (weighing 990lbs and is 10.5 feet tall) is kept there on display by its proud owner, American missionary and RCC founder Rev. Joe Mauk. Rizal is also the hometown of Filipina actress-politician Angelica Jones, prolific Filipino comics author Nicky Astronomo, and the late South Border saxophonist Edward Picache.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Calauan Laguna Campus or PUP Calauan (Filipino: Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas, sa Calauan) is a PUP campus located in the municipality of Calauan, Laguna province, Philippines, offering two courses, one diploma program and undergraduate programs. The 18th provincial campus of the university, PUP Calauan, was established in June 2009 as a result of an agreement between PUP President Dante G. Guevarra and former Calauan Mayor Buenafrido T. Berris. Under the agreement, the municipality of Calauan will provide the necessary requirements like schoolrooms, school equipment and facilities, and management of operations of the campus while PUP will supply the instructors/professors and curriculum.

Lake Bunot is a volcanic crater lake and is one of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Laguna in the Philippines. It is located in Brgy. Concepcion, San Pablo City. Only 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) from the city proper, Bunot is known for its cultured tilapia and fishpens for Nilotica fingerlings. Bunot has a normal surface area of 30.5 hectares (75 acres) with a maximum depth of 23 metres (75 ft).

The Laguna Volcanic Field, also known as the San Pablo Volcanic Field, is an active volcanic field in the Philippines, located between Laguna de Bay, Mount Banahaw volcano complex and Mount Malepunyo range. It is part of the larger Southwestern Luzon Volcanic Field (SWLVF). From Manila, it is about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast to Mount Makiling, its most prominent volcanic feature. The field is composed of over 200 dormant and monogenetic maars, crater lakes, scoria cones, and stratovolcanoes, the tallest of which is Mount Makiling at 1,090 m (3,580 ft) in elevation. Many of the maars are aligned along a NE-SW trend. Three generations of maars are present, with the oldest being sediment-filled, like the ones found in Calauan. The youngest maars contain deep lakes with many concentrated in the city of San Pablo. The youngest maar, 1.2-kilometre (0.75 mi) wide Sampaloc Lake was formed about 500–700 years ago according to local legend, the last major activity in the volcanic field.Volcanism is still evident through the presence of geothermal areas like mud and hot springs. The areas south of Mt. Makiling is the site of one of the earliest geothermal plants in the country.

Lake Sampaloc is a volcanic crater lake on the island of Luzon, Philippines. It is the largest of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Laguna. Nearly half of the lake's depth has a shallow depression at the bottom, indicating its volcanic origin. The lake is behind San Pablo city hall and is dotted with fishpens and small cottages built on stilts.

The Bay River (Filipino: Ilog ng Bay), also known as the Sapang River and the San Nicolas River, is a river system in Bay, Laguna, Philippines. It is one of 21 major tributaries of Laguna de Bay and is the more southern of two small rivers that hem the town proper of Bay. The other is the Calo River (Tagalog: Ilog Calo), another Laguna de Bay tributary, to the north. In geographical terms, these two rivers created the main area of the town of Bay by leaving many centuries' worth of alluvial deposits in the lower section of the plain close to Laguna de Bay. Over time, that plain was selected by the earliest settlers of Bay as the site of their community because the access to the lake meant easy transportation and ready access to a water source. The downside to this choice of location was regular flooding. Residents still recall that when the two rivers overflowed their banks, the poblacion and six other barangays would be flooded. However, this rarely happens today because an irrigation system consisting of canals and ditches which bring water from these rivers into the ricefields have reduced the force of the waters. The Bay River forms Bay's boundary with Calauan, Laguna. A third river on the opposite side of the town, the Maitem River (Tagalog: Ilog Maitem), forms Bay's boundary with Los Baños, Laguna.

Victoria, officially the Municipality of Victoria (Tagalog: Bayan ng Victoria), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 43,408 people.It is southeast of Laguna de Bay, 76 kilometers (47 mi) south of Manila and 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Santa Cruz. It is bordered by the Municipality of Calauan to the south-west, Nagcarlan to the southeast and Pila to the north-east. The municipality has a total land area of 22.83 square kilometers (8.81 sq mi) which is 1.30% of the total land area of the province of Laguna. Duck Raising Capital of the Philippines, or Victoria, is a municipality offering some of the most bizarre yet delicious dishes including goats’ and ducks’ meat. The town is bordered by Calauan, Nagcarlan, and Pila. Following the town's nickname, the Itik Festival is celebrated, along with the town's founding anniversary, to give honor and to know more about the products that come from itik (duck).
