Dworzec Gdański metro station

Warszawa Gdańska station (also known as Dworzec Gdański; literally Gdańsk station) is a railway station in northern Warsaw, Poland. The name of the station derives from its past as the main station serving trains towards Gdańsk. Currently, trains in that direction use the main Cross-City Line and the Warszawa Centralna railway station. It is located on the "Northern Line" that runs between Central Warsaw and the city's Żoliborz district to the north. It serves as a transportation hub for regional trains departing the station. It connects with the Warsaw Metro's Dworzec Gdański stop, located below the railway station, and a number of nearby tram and bus stops. The Warsaw Metro has received EU funding to build a pedestrian tunnel linking the metro station to the railway station. The railway station is located some 3.5 km north of the main rail line crossing the city linking Warszawa Wschodnia, Warszawa Centralna and Warszawa Zachodnia railway stations and as such is sometimes used as a reserve station, used by trains during track works on the main line, but that is quite rare, as there are two tracks in each direction on the main line. Currently (2011), it is used exclusively by Koleje Mazowieckie for services KM9 to/from Ciechanów and Działdowo via Legionowo, Modlin, Nasielsk, where the train changes number, Mława (only for trains continue to Działdowo, from/to starting/terminating at Warszawa Wola). Trains continuing to Działdowo, wait in Ciechanów for 50 minutes. Some trains terminate at Legionowo and Modlin.

Intraco I is a skyscraper in Warsaw, by Swedish company Byggnadsproduktion AB. The skyscraper is located at Stawki street, at the border of two districts Śródmieście and Żoliborz, close to the Dworzec Gdański metro and train station. Total height of the building, counting it's antenna is 138 metres. The building has 39 stories with a total area 31500 square metres. The elevation of the building was completely refurbished in 1998 and it has changed colour of curtain wall from orange to light green/cyan. Intraco I is a typical high-rise office building, its interior standard is very high and spacious. The building also has an underground car park for 200 cars. Offices in the building occupy all floors. In the building there are also two restaurants, conference rooms, bar, kiosk, hairdresser, flower shop, spa and sauna. All rooms in the building are air-conditioned and have satellite and internet connection.

The Monument to the Fallen and Murdered in the East is a monument in Warsaw, Poland which commemorates the victims of the Soviet invasion of Poland during World War II and subsequent repressions. It was unveiled on 17 September 1995, on the 56th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of 1939.

Muranów (pronounced Moora-noof) is a neighbourhood in the districts of Śródmieście (Downtown) and Wola in central Warsaw, the capital of Poland. It was founded in the 17th century. The name is derived from the palace belonging to Simone Giuseppe Belotti, a Venetian architect, who originally came to Warsaw from the island of Murano. It is the northernmost neighbourhood of the downtown area. Muranów was once Warsaw's most multicultural, densely-populated and diverse precinct with historical architecture, bazaars, churches and synagogues. In the interwar period (1918–1939), the district was primarily inhabited by Jews. As a result, the Warsaw Ghetto was set up in Muranów in 1940 by the occupying Germans. After the ghetto uprising in 1943 commanded by Mordechaj Anielewicz, the district was completely destroyed. Only the sparse few buildings survived the war. Muranów was entirely redeveloped after the war into a socreal-modernist district with 1950s-1960s housing estates, tower blocks and, more recently, modern buildings and skyscrapers.

Ulica Miła 18 (or 18 Pleasant Street in English) was the headquarters "bunker" (actually a hidden shelter) of the Jewish Combat Organization (ŻOB), a Jewish resistance group in the Warsaw Ghetto in Poland during World War II.

The General Stanisław Sosabowski Monument is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, located at the Disabled People Square, near Wojska Polskiego Avenue. It is dedicated to Stanisław Sosabowski, general and leader of the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade of the Polish Armed Forces during the Second World War. The monument was designed sculptor Martin Abspoel, and unvailed on 23 September 2017.

It is located within the City Information System area of Muranów, within the historical neighbourhood of Muranów.

The 1st Armoured Division Monument is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, located at the Disabled People Square, near Wojska Polskiego Avenue. It is dedicated to the 1st Armoured Division of the Polish Armed Forces, that fought in the Second World War. The monument was designed by sculptor Jerzy Sikorski and architect Andrzej Kiciński, and unvailed on 30 September 1995.

Stadion Miejski im. gen. Kazimierza Sosnkowskiego (English: General Kazimierz Sosnkowski Municipal Stadium) or Stadion Polonii Warszawa (English: Polonia Warsaw Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Warsaw, Poland.It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of Polonia Warsaw. The stadium was originally built in 1928. The East stand was thoroughly modernized in 2004. The stadium was used as a training ground for UEFA Euro 2012, and is being upgraded to hold a larger audience. It currently holds 7,150 seats, subdivided as follows.

The Disabled People Square (Polish: Plac Inwalidów) is an urban square and traffic circle in Warsaw, Poland, within the Żoliborz district. It is located at the intersection of Czarnieckiego Street, Mickiewicza Street, and Wojska Polskiego Avenue. The square waw opened in 2024.

The Church of John of God is a Roman Catholic church belonging to the Brothers Hospitallers of St. John of God (the Bonifratrzy). It is located at 12 Bonifraterska Street in Warsaw. From 1976 to 2013 it was the seat of the now defunct parish of St. John of God (Parafia św. Jana Bożego w Warszawie).
