The Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine (Ukrainian: Стіна пам'яті загиблих за Україну) is the wall of the Mykhailivsky Golden-Domed Monastery along Trohsvyatitelska Street near Mykhailivska Square, Kyiv.It was implemented as a joint work of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, the National Military History Museum of Ukraine, the editorial board of the book "Memory of the Fallen for Ukraine" and the historical and cultural society "Amulet of Time". In 2020, the Wall of Remembrance was renovated. 4500 new photos were added.

The Refectory Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian (Ukrainian: Храм святого апостола і євангелиста Іоана Богослова) is the refectory church of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery, in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The church is dedicated to John the Theologian.

The hotel is next to the Mykhailivs'ka ploshcha (Michael's Square). There is an underground garage with a controlled access.

St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery (Ukrainian: Михайлівський золотоверхий монастир, Mykhaylivs’kyi zolotoverkhyi monastyr) is a monastery in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, dedicated to Michael the Archangel. It is located on the edge of the bank of the Dnieper river, northeast of the Saint Sophia Cathedral. The site is located in the historic administrative Uppertown and overlooks the city's historical commercial and merchant quarter, the Podil. The monastery has been the headquarters of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine since December 2018. Originally built in the Middle Ages by the Kievan Rus' ruler Sviatopolk II Iziaslavych, the monastery comprises the cathedral church, the Refectory of St. John the Divine, built in 1713, the Economic Gates, constructed in 1760, and the bell tower, which was added c. 1716 – c. 1719. The exterior of the structure was rebuilt in the Ukrainian Baroque style in the 18th century while the interior remained in its original Byzantine style. The original cathedral was demolished by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s, but was reconstructed and opened in 1999 following Ukrainian independence in 1991.

The British Embassy Kyiv (Ukrainian: Посольство Великої Британії в Києві) (also known as Kiev), is the British sovereign's diplomatic mission to Ukraine, representing the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom's interests. The embassy is located on Desyatynna street in the Pecherskyi District of the city, right opposite to the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The British Ambassador to Ukraine is Melinda Simmons who was appointed in 2019.

The Ukrainian Registered Cossacks (URC) (Ukrainian: Українське реєстрове козацтво); is a public organization that was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 8 July 2002. The URC consists of nearly 70,000 cossacks. It has a hymn, flag, logo, insignia, awards and operates the Ukraine of Cossacks newspaper.The organization is one of hundreds of diverse associations of Cossacks in 21st century Ukraine.

The State Migration Service of Ukraine (SMS) is a government agency of Ukraine that administers policy in the areas of immigration (both legal and illegal), emigration, and citizenship, as well as the resident registration (uk) system. It is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and was established in 2010.

The Kyiv Funicular (Ukrainian: Київський фунікулер) is a steep slope railroad on Kyiv Hills that serves the city of Kyiv, connecting the historic Uppertown, and the lower commercial neighborhood of Podil through the steep Volodymyrska Hill overseeing the Dnieper River. The line consists of only two stations and is operated by the Kyiv city community enterprise Kyivpastrans.

Borychiv Descent (Ukrainian: Боричів узвіз, translit.: Borychiv uzviz) is a historic descent in the historical and merchant quarter of Kyiv, the Podil (Podol) neighbourhood. It is located near the Poshtova Square. Its legendary name, Borichev Descent, is derived from either the name of a wealthy Kyivan who lived there at the turn of the 19th century, or from the word borych/biruch (Ukrainian: борич/бірюч), which means a herald and customs officer serving the Kyiv Prince in the Middle Ages. Some scholars believe that today's Borychiv Descent corresponds to the legendary one mentioned in the 12th century poem, The Tale of Igor's Campaign (Slovo o polku Ihorevim); others state that the ancient Borychev Descent is actually today's Andriyivskyi Descent. Several houses from the first part of the 19th century have been preserved on the nearby Borychiv Tik (Ukrainian: Боричів Тік, translit.: Borychiv Tik), which starts from the Borychiv Descent. This street is popularized by its usage as a set in many historical movies.

The Church of the Tithes or Church of the Dormition of the Virgin (Ukrainian: Десятинна Церква, Desiatynna Tserkva) was the first stone church in Kyiv. Originally it was built by the order of Grand Prince Volodymyr (Volodymyr) the Great between 989 and 996 by Byzantine and local workers at the site of death of martyrs Theodor the Varangian and his son Johann. It was originally named the "Church of Our Lady", in honor of the Dormition of the Theotokos. The church was ruined in 1240 during the siege of Kyiv by Mongol armies of Batu Khan. Volodymyr set aside a tithe of his income and property to finance the church's construction and maintenance, which gave the church its popular name. On an initiative of the Metropolitan of Kyiv Eugene Bolkhovitinov, the church was rebuilt in the mid-19th century, but in 1928 it was once again destroyed by the Soviet regime.

The Co-Cathedral of St. Alexander (Ukrainian: Співкафедральний собор св. Олександра ) also called Cathedral of St. Alexander of Kyiv is a Roman Catholic co-cathedral located in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.The church was built between 1817 and 1842 in a cruciform plan, with a dome at the intersection of the aisles in the style of classicism. The church is located on the former site of a Polish merchant district, near the present day Independence Square.To commemorate the visit of Russian Tsar Alexander I in Kyiv the Polish owner Antoni Sawicki built, with the consent of the authorities, a wooden church on the site.The first wooden church burned down in 1823; the new brick church was not completed until 1842. After 1905, the tsarist authorities eased restrictions on churches other than Russian Orthodox. In Soviet times a planetarium occupied the premises. After the fall of communism the building was renovated and became the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Kyiv-Žytomyr (Dioecesis Kioviensis-Zytomeriensis, Єпархія Київ-Житомир).
