The Toa Payoh Police Division (or 'B' Division, Chinese: 大巴窑警区, Malay: Divisyen Polis Toa Payoh) was a former police division of the Singapore Police Force, operating from 1977 to 1988.

Toa Payoh (simplified Chinese: 大巴窑; traditional Chinese: 大巴窯, Tamil: தோ பாயோ) is a planning area and matured residential town located in the northern part of the Central Region of Singapore. Toa Payoh planning area borders Bishan and Serangoon to the north, the Central Water Catchment to the northwest, Kallang to the south, Geylang to the southeast, Novena to the west and Hougang to the east. Toa Payoh New Town is situated in the western portion of the Toa Payoh planning area. The latter occupies a much larger area, encompassing estates such as Potong Pasir and Bidadari.

Braddell MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station located on the North South Line (NSL) in Toa Payoh, Singapore. Unlike the other stations on the NSL (apart from Canberra station), the station has side platforms due to engineering constraints. Located underneath the traffic junction of Lorong 1 Toa Payoh and Lorong 2 Toa Payoh, Braddell station primarily serves the estates in the northern part of Toa Payoh New Town. Opened on 7 November 1987, Braddell station is one of the first five MRT stations on the network.

Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah is a full-time co-educational madrasah offering secondary school education in Singapore. Madrasah is an Arabic word that means "school" but in the present context a madrasah means an Islamic religious school. Like the five other full-time madrasahs in Singapore (Aljuneid Al-Islamiah, Alsagoff Al-Arabiah, Irsyad Zuhri Al-Islamiah, Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah and Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah), Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah (MAI) is a private school which offers students an education comprising both ukhrawi (Islamic religious) subjects such as Arabic and Revelation studies, as well as duniawi (secular) subjects like English, Mathematics and Science. MAI's students take both secular and ukhrawi national exams. Many of its graduates move on to further their studies in Islamic Universities overseas and return to become asatizahs (religious teachers), while others attend the local polytechnics and universities. The school is currently operating at its campus at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.

600 @ Toa Payoh, formerly Central Cinema (中央戏院) and Kong Chian Cinema (光前戏院), is a commercial building and a former cinema in Toa Payoh town centre which was located near the Toa Payoh Public Library. The building currently houses a pool centre, amenities, eateries and a 24 hours McDonald's fast food restaurant.

The Toa Payoh Public Library (Chinese: 大巴窑图书馆), formerly Toa Payoh Community Library (Chinese: 大巴窑社区图书馆) and Toa Payoh Branch Library is an established library located in the Toa Payoh Town Centre, Singapore, opened on 7 February 1974. It consists of three floors and has a large floor area of approximately 4125 m2. The building which the library currently based in once housed the Southeast Asian Peninsular Games Secretariat for the 1973 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games in Singapore. The library is also within walking distance of HDB Hub, Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and Toa Payoh MRT station.

Toa Payoh MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line (NSL) in Toa Payoh, Singapore. Located within the town centre of Toa Payoh, this station is integrated with the Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and the HDB (Housing and Development Board) Hub. The station is underneath the junction of Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, Lorong 2 Toa Payoh and Lorong 6 Toa Payoh. The station was constructed as part of Phase I of the MRT system. In August 1985, Toa Payoh station was the first MRT station in Singapore to have its concrete structure completed. On 7 November 1987, the station was one of the first MRT stations to open for revenue service. The station has a bright yellow scheme with a set of coloured tiles at the concourse level.

The SIA-NKF Dialysis Centre is a dialysis centre in Toa Payoh, Singapore, and was the first dialysis centre outside of a hospital in Singapore.

Beatty Secondary School is a co-educational government secondary school in Toa Payoh, Singapore. It was established in 1953 along Beatty Road and moved to its current site in Toa Payoh in 1982. It educates deaf students who must use sign language to communicate.

Chung Hwa Medical Institution is a medical institution located in Toa Payoh, Singapore. The institution is the headquarters of the Singapore Chinese Physicians Association (SCPA), and houses the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Medical and Drugs Research Institute, Chinese Acupuncture Research Institution, and a traditional Chinese medicine clinic.

ERA APAC Centre, formerly known as Hersing Centre, ERA Centre, Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre (Chinese: 大巴窑娱乐中心) and Toa Payoh Theatre (大巴窑戏院), is a shopping mall and former entertainment centre in Singapore. It is located near Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and Toa Payoh MRT station, beside HDB Hub and Orange Tee Building.
