The International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) is an association of higher education institutions run by the Society of Jesus. It was founded in 2018, upon the approval of Rev. Fr. Arturo Sosa SJ, Father General of the society. The current chair of the IAJU board is Fr. Michael Garanzini, SJ. IAJU is "the international advisory and coordinating body to the Secretariat of Jesuit Higher Education and, through him, to Father General and his Assistants in matters related to higher education and the intellectual apostolate," according to its charter. It was established during an international assembly of Jesuit higher educational institutions at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.IAJU is part of the Jesuits' higher education apostolate, and its main mission is to "contribute to the progress" of the said apostolate to "promote the development of a more just and humane world for the greater honor and glory of God."

The Missionaries of the Precious Blood (Latin: Congregatio Missionariorum Pretiosissimi Sanguinis) is a Catholic community of priests and brothers. The society was founded by Saint Gaspar del Bufalo in 1815. The Missionaries of the Precious Blood is a shortened English translation of the Latin "Congregatio Missionariorum Pretiosissimi Sanguinis Domini Nostri Jesu Christi," (The Congregation of Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ). Priests and brothers add the nominal letters C.PP.S. after their names to indicate their membership in the Congregation. It is a Society of Apostolic Life composed of secular priests and brothers who live in community. Members do not take vows but are held together by the bond of charity only and by a promise of "fidelity to the Congregation of Missionaries of the Precious Blood in accordance with its Constitution and Statutes, giving [themselves] entirely to the service of God". (see the formula of incorporation found in C37 of the Normative Texts 2008.) The stated charism of the society is to bring the Word of God to where it is most needed.

The Brothers of Our Lady Mother of Mercy (Latin: Congregatio Fratrum B. Mariæ V., Matris Misericordiæ), sometimes called the Brothers CMM or Brothers of Tilburg, is a Catholic lay religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men founded in Tilburg, the Netherlands, in 1844 by Johannes Zwijsen, and initially placed under the leadership of Franciscus Salesius de Beer (1821-1901). The purpose of the congregation was to carry out works of charity and works of mercy. The congregation currently has about 300 members working in 10 countries. In June 2014, Brother Lawrence Obiko was elected as superior general of the congregation. Its members add the nominal letters C.M.M. after their names to indicate membership in the congregation.

The Servants of Charity (Latin: Congregatio Servorum a Charitate) is a Catholic clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men. Members of this clerical congregation are popularly known as 'Guanelliani' (or Guanellians, in English). They add the nominal letters SC after their names to indicate their membership in the Congeagation.

The Society of the Divine Saviour (Latin: Societas Divini Salvatoris), abbreviated SDS and also known as the Salvatorians, is a clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men in the Roman Catholic Church. The members of the congregation use the nominal SDS after their names. It has clergy serving in more than 40 countries throughout the world. It was founded in Rome, Italy on 8 December 1881 by Francis Mary of the Cross Jordan. The Generalate of the community is in Rome, at Via della Conciliazione in Palazzo Cesi-Armellini. The current Superior General of the Salvatorians is the Milton Zonta. It is dedicated to Jesus Christ as the "Divine Saviour". Its patron saints are the Blessed Virgin Mary as "Mother of the Savior", the Apostles, Michael the Archangel, and Joseph. The patronal feast of the Society of the Divine Saviour is Christmas Day. The Salvatorians celebrate 11 October as the "Solemnity of Mary, Mother of the Savior". Other important liturgical celebrations include Pentecost Sunday and 5 September, the Feast of Blessed Mary of the Apostles. Other societies affiliated with the Salvatorians as part of the "Salvatorian Family" include the Sisters of the Divine Saviour and the International Community of the Divine Saviour (Lay Salvatorians).

The Society of Foreign Missions (French: Société des Missions-Étrangères du Québec) is a missionary Roman Catholic Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right for men. It is devoted to missions mainly in Latin America and the Far East. It was founded in 1921 in Quebec, Canada. Members add the nominal letters P.M.E. after their names to indicate membership in the Congregation.

The Congregation of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo (Latin: Congregatio Missionariorum a S. Carolo), commonly called the Scalabrinian Missionaries, is a Roman Catholic religious institute of brothers and priests founded by Giovanni Battista Scalabrini, Bishop of Piacenza in Italy, in 1887. The members of the congregation add the nominal letters CS after their names to indicate their membership in the Congregation.. Its mission is to "maintain Catholic faith and practice among Italian emigrants in the New World." Today, they and their sister organizations, the Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo (founded by Scalabrini on 25 October 1895) and the Secular Institute of the Scalabrinian Missionary Women (founded 25 July 1961) minister to migrants, refugees and displaced persons.

The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres (SPC) is a Roman Catholic religious apostolic missionary congregation of pontifical right for teaching, nursing, visiting the poor and taking care of orphans, the old and infirm, and the mentally ill. It was founded in Levesville-la-Chenard, France in 1696.The interior spirit is a love of sacrifice and labor for the spiritual and temporal good of others. The Postulancy lasts from six months to one year, the novitiate two years, after which the sisters take vows annually for three to seven years, and then perpetual simple vows.

The Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel (Latin: Congregatio Sancti Michaëlis Archangeli) abbreviated CSMA, also known as the Michaelites, is a Catholic clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men (brothers and priests) founded by the Blessed Father Bronisław Markiewicz, a Polish priest from Miejsce Piastowe, Poland. The Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel is one of the 30 officially recognized groups of the Salesian Family of Don Bosco.

The Somaschi Fathers, also known as the Somascans and officially as the Order of Clerics Regular of Somasca (Latin: Ordo Clericorum Regularium a Somascha), are a Catholic order of Clerics Regular of Pontifical Right for men. It was founded in Italy in the 16th century by Jerome Emiliani and named after the motherhouse at Somasca. As of 2020, there were currently 520 Somascans serving around the world. They provide staff for boys' homes, serve in 95 parishes, and engage in other ministries.

The Society of Jesus (Latin: Societas Iesu; abbreviation: SJ), commonly known as the Jesuits (; Latin: Iesuitæ), is a religious order of clerics regular of pontifical right for men in the Catholic Church headquartered in Rome. It was founded in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola and six companions, with the approval of Pope Paul III. The society is engaged in evangelization and apostolic ministry in 112 nations. Jesuits work in education, research, and cultural pursuits. Jesuits also conduct retreats, minister in hospitals and parishes, sponsor direct social and humanitarian ministries, and promote ecumenical dialogue. The Society of Jesus is consecrated under the patronage of Madonna della Strada, a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and it is led by a Superior General. The headquarters of the society, its General Curia, is in Rome. The historic curia of Ignatius is now part of the Collegio del Gesù attached to the Church of the Gesù, the Jesuit mother church. Members of the Society of Jesus are expected to accept orders to go anywhere in the world, where they might be required to live in extreme conditions. This was so because Ignatius, its leading founder, was a nobleman who had a military background. Accordingly, the opening lines of the founding document declared that the society was founded for "whoever desires to serve as a soldier of God, to strive especially for the defense and propagation of the faith, and for the progress of souls in Christian life and doctrine". Jesuits are thus sometimes referred to colloquially as "God's soldiers", "God's marines", or "the Company". The society participated in the Counter-Reformation and, later, in the implementation of the Second Vatican Council.

The Society of Mary (Latin: Societas Mariae) abbreviated SM is a clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men (brothers and priests) commonly called the Marianists or Marianist Brothers and Priests. Its members add the nominal letters "'S.M.'" to their names to indicate their membership in the Society. The Society was founded by William Joseph Chaminade, a priest who survived the anti-clerical persecution during the French Revolution. The Society is one of the four branches of the Marianist Family. Along with the other branches, the Marianist Brothers and Priests look to Mary as a model of faith and spirituality. They believe that the best ways to live a spiritual life are to share their faith with others, work with the poor, and educate and nourish the mind, the body, and the soul.
