Santa Clara is a community in Lane County, Oregon, United States, part of which is a neighborhood of the city of Eugene, but most of which is an unincorporated area. Prior to a number of partial annexations by the city between 1990 and 2005, Santa Clara was an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Lane County. Its current population is approximately 13,000.According to U.S. Census Bureau figures, the racial composition of Santa Clara's population is 91 percent white, 0.8 percent black, 1.2 percent American Indian, 1.2 percent Asian, 0.2 percent Pacific Islander, 2.2 percent some other race, and 3.4 percent two or more races. Latinos, who may be of any race, form 4.7 percent of Santa Clara's population.

KSCR (1320 AM) was a radio station airing a soft adult contemporary format. Licensed to Eugene, Oregon, United States, the station served the Eugene-Springfield area. The station, established in 1962, was owned by Cumulus Media. It had been granted a construction permit by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to change its transmitter site, and decrease day power to 600 watts and night power to 40 watts.

The Coburg Historic District is a National Historic District located in the city of Coburg, Oregon, United States. The district is roughly bounded by Van Duyn Road, Diamond and Miller streets, Dixon Street and Tax lots 1700 and 201, and Bottom Loop Road. The district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The period of significance of the district dates back to 1875.

KWVA (88.1 FM) is a college radio station broadcasting from the EMU building on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Licensed to the University of Oregon, it serves the Eugene/Springfield metropolitan area and has a live online stream. KWVA primarily plays a varied mix of music, in addition talk shows and live college sports broadcasts. KWVA regularly broadcasts a variety of locally produced and syndicated news programs including Democracy Now!, broadcast every weekday morning from 7:00–8:00 am, Health Matters broadcast Mondays 7:00pm–7:30pm, Anarchy Hour broadcast Tuesdays 7:00pm–7:30pm, and Occupy Radio broadcast Wednesdays 7:00pm–7:30pm. KWVA regularly broadcasts University of Oregon athletics played in Eugene, including football, softball, volleyball and women's soccer. KWVA Sports also calls local high school football and basketball games. KWVA is wholly student-operated and owned, though community members not affiliated with the University of Oregon can volunteer to be on-air DJs. Since Winter 2009, KWVA has kept up-to-date playlists of every show aired in an online database.

KKNX (840 AM) is a classic hits radio station broadcasting to the Eugene, Oregon, area on 840 AM. 840 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency, on which WHAS in Louisville, Kentucky is the dominant Class A station. KKNX must reduce nighttime power to protect the skywave signal of WHAS.

KORE (1050 AM) is a commercial radio station dual licensed to Springfield and Eugene, Oregon. It airs a sports radio format and is owned by KORE Broadcasting, LLC. The studios and offices are on Willagillespie Road off Oregon Route 132 in Eugene. By day, KORE is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. As 1050 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency reserved for XEG-AM in Monterrey, KORE reduces power at night to 105 watts. The transmitter site is on Goodpasture Road near the Willamette River in Eugene. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator K275CX at 102.9 MHz. Television station KLSR-TV (channel 34) also carries KORE audio overnight.

Coburg is a city (and a National Historic District) in Lane County, Oregon, United States, 8 miles (13 km) north of Eugene. The city's population as of the 2020 census was 1,306. Founded in 1847, Coburg has retained the characteristics of traditional small town with walkable and close ties to the surrounding farming communities that stretch in all directions. River Road is a census-designated place (CDP) adjacent to the city of Eugene in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in north-central Lane County, on the northwest side of Eugene. It extends from the junction of River Road and the Northwest Expressway in the south to Oregon Route 569, the Randy Papé Beltline, in the north. River Road and the Northwest Expressway form the eastern and western boundaries of the CDP, respectively. Numerous outlying areas belonging to the city of Eugene are scattered throughout the CDP, which is otherwise unincorporated. River Road is an extremely car-dependent area with multiple pedestrian and car fatalities per year. However, as part of EmX's Moving Ahead initiative establishing a bus rapid transit lane and protected bike lanes, more transit options will become available to residents. These changes have proven highly controversial, and the City Councillor representing River Road, Claire Syrett, is facing a recall election as of August 2022.
