Panmure District School

Mount Wellington (Māori: Maungarei) is a suburb in East Auckland, New Zealand, located 10 kilometres southeast of the city centre. It is surrounded by the suburbs of Stonefields, Tamaki, Panmure, Penrose, and Ellerslie, and by the Tamaki River. The suburb is named after the volcanic peak of Maungarei / Mount Wellington. Sylvia Park is a large business park and shopping centre located in the suburb.

Bill McKinlay Park, (formerly Ireland Road Domain) is a multi-purpose stadium in the suburb of Mount Wellington in Auckland, New Zealand. It is used for football matches and is the home stadium of NRF League One side Uni-Mount Bohemian. Eastern Suburbs also used Bill McKinlay Park for their New Zealand Football Championship games between 2016 and 2018.Bill McKinlay has hosted seven international friendlies and the 1983 Chatham Cup Final Replay.

The Panmure Basin (traditionally known in Māori as Kaiahiku or Te Kopua Kai-a-Hiku), also sometimes known as the Panmure Lagoon, is a tidal estuary within a volcanic crater or maar in New Zealand's Auckland volcanic field. It is located to the south of Panmure town centre.

Mt Wellington Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Auckland, New Zealand. At senior level, the club fields four teams - Premier, Reserves, U-21 and U-19 - through a joint venture with Te Papapa Onehunga.

The Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board is one of the 21 local boards of the Auckland Council. It is the only local board overseen by the council's Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Ward councillor (some wards administer more than one local board). Panmure is an east Auckland suburb, in the North Island of New Zealand. It is located 11 kilometres southeast of the Auckland CBD, close to the western banks of the Tāmaki River and the northern shore of the Panmure Basin (or Kaiahiku). To the north lies the suburb of Tāmaki, and to the west is the cone of Maungarei / Mount Wellington.

The 2001 Panmure RSA killings were a triple murder committed on 8 December 2001 at the Panmure RSA, in Auckland, New Zealand. The perpetrator, William Dwane Bell, had been fired by the RSA two weeks before for his behavior. He committed the murders while out on parole for a previous aggravated robbery in which he almost killed a service station attendant. Bell had more than 100 prior criminal convictions. Bell was given a 30-year minimum non-parole life sentence, at the time the longest minimum non-parole period ever given out by New Zealand.

Sylvia Park is a large business park and shopping centre in the Auckland suburb of Mount Wellington in New Zealand. Less commonly known, the area around the centre (which includes some residential and other commercial developments) is also called Sylvia Park (the centre takes its name from the area, not vice versa, but Sylvia Park is not officially a suburb). The area is located adjacent to two major interchanges of the Auckland Southern Motorway – the South Eastern Highway (which passes directly above the shopping centre on a viaduct) and Mount Wellington Highway. Land and store space in the Sylvia Park development is let out to a wide variety of major retailers, one cinema complex and one supermarket. In addition, the centre has franchises of all major New Zealand banks and a wide variety of other retailers. The centre employs approximately 2,500 staff.In a rating of New Zealand shopping centres by a retail expert group in 2008, Sylvia Park received four stars, the maximum rating, based on the criteria of amount of shopping area, economic performance, amenity and appeal as well as future growth prospects. Especially praised were the wide catchment of shoppers and the motorway accessibility.

Purchas Hill (also Te Tauoma) is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. Purchas Hill was a twin-cratered scoria cone around 50 metres high, located north of Maungarei / Mount Wellington, before it was predominantly quarried away. The scoria cone sat in the middle of its large explosion crater with a surrounding tuff ring. It erupted about 10,000 years ago, shortly before the eruption of its larger neighbour, Mount Wellington.
