Her Majesty's Theatre is a 1,700 seat theatre in Melbourne's East End Theatre District, Australia. Built in 1886, it is located at 219 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. It is classified by the National Trust of Australia and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. Purchased in 2000 by Mike Walsh, the theatre was restored and refitted to accommodate larger productions.

The Chinese Museum or Museum of Chinese Australian History is an Australian history museum located in Melbourne's Chinatown, which is dedicated to documenting, preserving and displaying the history, heritage and culture of Australia’s Chinese community. The museum was established in 1985 with a charter to present the history of Australians of Chinese ancestry. An extensive refurbishment funded by the Victorian Government was completed in 2010. Since then, the museum has also acted as a Chinatown Visitor Centre.The building that currently houses the Museum was built by the Cohen Bros in 1890 and used as a warehouse for the manufacture of furniture. It was later sold to Her Majesty's Theatre and used as a storage space for their extensive collection of costumes. In 1984 the Victorian Government, with support from the Victorian Tourism Commission, the Chinese Community and the Melbourne City Council the building was purchased from Her Majesty's Theatre and the museum formally established. There is temporary exhibition space in which local and international artists can present work that engages with the Chinese culture. The museum has a range of permanent exhibitions relating to Chinese experiences in the 19th Century Australian Goldfields and uses objects from their extensive collection to tell stories that highlight the relationships between Australians and Chinese culture. Across five floors, the Chinese Museum holds an extensive collection of Chinese clothing and textiles, photographs, documents and artifacts that reflect the social fabric and activities of the Chinese community in Australia from the 1850s. The fifth floor houses the One Million Stories Exhibition, which details Australia’s Chinese history and showcases the contribution Chinese Australians have made to Australian Society over 200 years, including the story of recent arrivals from the Asia Pacific region. The fourth floor houses the museum's temporary exhibition gallery. At the basement, there is the Finding Gold experience, which tells the story about the life of Chinese miners on the Victorian goldfields. On the ground floor is the Dragon Gallery, which is home to Dai Loong and the Millennium Dragon, the largest Chinese dragon in the world.The Museum has over 8,000 items such as household items, tools, and clothing, The collection also includes fifty oral history recordings, aas well as films, documents, and photographs..

222 Exhibition Street (TAC House) is a 26 level office building in Melbourne, Australia. Constructed 1986-88 and designed by Denton Corker Marshall, 222 Exhibition Street is a notable example of Postmodernism by a firm that was later to gain international fame.

Telstra Corporate Centre is an office skyscraper in Melbourne, Australia. Standing 218 m high with 47 floors (43 used as offices), it is the 13th tallest in Melbourne. It is located at 242 Exhibition Street. It is the world headquarters for Telstra and includes a small retail precinct located on the ground floor towards the Little Lonsdale St side. The building was designed by the large commercial architects Perrot Lyon Matheison. It was opened in 1992 and the building was fully refurbished in 2010 by Lend Lease to include a Telstra store, 2 new cafes, two 15m square HD media walls as well as the food court area. The new reception area features Australia's largest indoor vertical live garden.

The Comedy Theatre is a 1003-seat theatre in Melbourne's East End Theatre District. It was built in 1928, and was designed in the Spanish style, with a Florentine-style exterior and wrought-iron balconies. It is located at 240 Exhibition Street, and diagonally opposite Her Majesty's Theatre. It typically hosts commercial seasons of plays and smaller-scale musicals, as well as comedy and other entertainment events.

Velasquez Gallery, also known as Velasquez Gallery at Tye's, and later Tye's Art Gallery, was a Melbourne art gallery that showed contemporary traditional, and later, modernist Australian art, including some sculpture and prints, as well as Australian indigenous art. It operated from 1940 to 1955.

Total House is a heritage-listed Brutalist commercial building at 170-190 Russell Street, Melbourne, Australia. It consists of retail premises at street level, a seven-level car park, four storeys of offices atop the car park, and a basement theatre. It was listed on the Victorian Heritage Register on 29 May 2014 on the basis that it was "a landmark of post-World War II modernist design and...one of the earliest and best expressions of Brutalist architecture in Victoria".

The Pancake Parlour is an Australian family-owned pancake restaurant chain, serving sweet and savoury pancakes and crepes with locations in Victoria. The first Pancake Parlour restaurant opened in Gilbert Place, Adelaide on 15 May 1965 as "The Pancake Kitchen" and is still is in operation today as "The Original Pancake Kitchen". The first restaurant was established by Roger Meadmore and Allen and Helen Trachsel. The Trachsels moved to Melbourne opening "The Pancake Parlour" in Market Lane in 1969, whilst Meadmore moved to Sydney and on 17 August 1975 opened "Pancakes on the Rocks". There are eleven Melbourne restaurants, with the Doncaster, Highpoint, Fountain Gate and Malvern East restaurants open 24 hours a day.The Pancake Parlour also serve fish, chicken, salads and savoury crepes as well as a variety of breakfast dishes. The Pancake Parlour also sells its pancake mix and pancake syrup in Supermarkets across Australia.

Wesley Church is a Uniting Church in the centre of Melbourne, in the State of Victoria, Australia. Wesley Church was originally built as the central church of the Wesleyan movement in Victoria. It is named after John Wesley (1703–1791), the founder of Methodism. Today Wesley Church is the home of two Uniting Church congregations, the English-speaking Wesley Church, and the Chinese-speaking Gospel Hall. In 1902, the Wesleyan Church in Australia combined with four other churches to form the Methodist Church of Australasia. In 1977, the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational Churches further combined to form the Uniting Church.

The East End Theatre District is a precinct within the Melbourne central business district, and is bounded by Spring Street, Flinders Street, Swanston Street and Lonsdale Street. The district is home to six of Melbourne's major theatres, including the Princess Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre and the Regent Theatre. These theatres mostly house commercial productions of musicals, plays and other events, in contrast with the Southbank Arts Precinct over the Yarra River which focuses on publicly funded companies.

The Eastern Market, also known as 'Paddys Market', was one of the three markets established in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in the 1840s. It operated from 1847 until the demolition of its buildings and sale of its site in 1960.

Russell Street is a main street and thoroughfare in the central business district of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It runs roughly north-south and was laid out as a core feature of the Hoddle Grid in 1837.Russell Street is named after John Russell, British Home Secretary and leader of the House of Commons in Lord Melbourne's cabinet. Russell himself was also a future Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
