The Palazzo Caravita di Sirignano is a monumental palace located at via Rione Sirignano 4, corner with along the strada Riviera di Chiaia in Naples, Italy.

Vomero (pronounced [ˈvɔːmero]) is a bustling hilltop district of metropolitan Naples, Italy — comprising approximately two square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) and a population of 48,000. Vomero is noted for its central square, Piazza Vanvitelli; the ancient Petraio, its earliest path up and down to the original city of Naples; its ancient district of Rione Antignano; Floridiana Park and Villa Floridiana; the medieval fortress, Castel Sant'Elmo; three funiculars connecting to downtown historic districts; its active pedestrian zone, aka ZTL — and its prominent location overlooking greater Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the Bay of Naples and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Adjacent to the Arenella, Soccavo, Fuorigrotta, Chiaia, Montecalvario and Avvocata districts, the street and placenames within Vomero are typically named after noted artists, painters, sculptors, musicians, composers or architects, each with a prominent Neopolitan connection at the time of Vomero's development. Residents go by the demonym, Vomeresi.

The Riviera di Chiaia (Chiaia's Riviera) is a long street in the Italian city of Naples, running along the coast of the Gulf of Naples. On this street there are many ancient villas built by aristocratic families between the 16th and 19th centuries, such as the Villa Pignatelli. The Chiesa di Santa Maria in Portico is nearby. Mark Twain calls this street "Riviere di Chiaja" in his book The Innocents Abroad.

While the original architect was Nicola Longo in 1632; the facade was completed by Arcangelo Guglielmelli in a pell-mell concoction of Mannerist and Baroque styles, utilizing columns and pilasters of varying sizes, volutes, and even obelisks with typical Neapolitan appeal to color differences. Among the wealth of interior artwork are frescoes by Giovanni Battista Benaschi and interior architectural sculpture by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. In addition, there is an Annunciation by Fabrizio Santafede and an Assumption by Paolo de Matteis.

The Villa Pignatelli is a museum in Naples in southern Italy. The villa is located along the Riviera di Chiaia, the road bounding the north side of the Villa Comunale on the sea front between Mergellina and Piazza Vittoria.

The Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn is a research institute in Naples, Italy, devoted to basic research in biology. Research is largely interdisciplinary involving the fields of evolution, biochemistry, molecular biology, neurobiology, cell biology, biological oceanography, marine botany, molecular plant biology, benthic ecology, and ecophysiology. Founded in 1872 as a private concern by Anton Dohrn, in 1982 the Stazione Zoologica came under the supervision and control of the Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica (Ministry of Universities and Scientific and Technological Research) as a National Institute.

San Giuseppe a Chiaia is a church in Naples, Italy. Founded as a chapel for the Jesuit Order; it was enlarged during 1666-1673 under designs by Tommaso Carrere. With the suppression of the Jesuit Order, the church changed management. About 1817, under the patronage of Ferdinando I it became a hospice for the blind called the Casa di San Giuseppe e Lucia. The interior has a paintings of St Ignatius of Loyola by Luca Giordano, Family of the Virgin by Nicola Malinconico, a St Anne and Holy Family by Francesco di Maria.

Napoli Piazza Amedeo is an underground rail station on the Villa Literno line in Naples, Italy. The station went into service September 20, 1925, with the activation of the railway from Naples to Pozzuoli Solfatara (the so-called "underground"). The station has a pavilion made of reinforced concrete which leads through a long tunnel leading to the turnstiles and the docks. The station is located in the Rione Amedeo, in the heart of Naples' wealthy, near nightlife. It is also close to Via dei Mille, Via Calabritto and Piazza dei Martiri, which are lined with designer boutiques. The station is also well connected by Chiaia Funicular to Vomero. The station is served by subway trains, labeled Line 2.

Santa Teresa a Chiaia is a Baroque church in Naples, Italy. The church was founded in 1620, and completed in 1650-1662 by Cosimo Fanzago. The earthquake of 1688 damaged the church and required reconstruction. The church was originally called Santa Teresa Plaggie, due to the place near the beach where it was located. The facade is rich in stucco decoration. The interior is a Greek cross plan with a statue of St Teresa, by Fanzago on the main altar. The principal works in the church are the Infancy of Mary, Repose in Egypt, St Peter appears to St Teresa and St Peter of Alcantara providing confession to St Teresa, by Luca Giordano.

The Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli (simply known by the acronym PAN) is a museum in the city of Naples, located in the historic Carafa di Roccella - a monumental building located in the neighbourhood of Chiaia, via dei Mille ; it hosts exhibitions of contemporary art in its many forms (painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, comics, design, video art, cinema).

Arco Mirelli is an underground metro station currently under construction that will serve Line 6 on the Naples Metro. The Arco Mirelli station, designed by the architect Hans Kollhoff, will serve the areas of Via Caracciolo, the Villa Comunale (within which there is the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station), and the eastern part of the district Mergellina. The railway complex will be built at the west end of the Villa Comunale near the monument to the Four Days of Naples in Piazza della Repubblica, and will consist of two glass pavilions, with obvious reference to the original architecture of the gardens. The previous station is San Pasquale, the next is Mergellina.

Chiaia (Italian pronunciation: [ˈkjaːja], Neapolitan pronunciation: [ˈkjɑːjə]) is an affluent neighbourhood on the seafront in Naples, Italy, bounded by Piazza Vittoria on the east and Mergellina on the west. Chiaia is one of the wealthiest districts in Naples. On the main streets of Chiaia many luxury brands have their shops. In the central area there are also important schools and high schools. The most prominent landmark in the area is the large public park known as the Villa Comunale. Historically, it underwent initial development in the late 16th and early 17th centuries as the Spanish rulers of Naples opened the city to the west of its historic boundaries. The Renaissance poet Laura Terracina was born in Chiaia and grew up there.
