The Anduiza Hotel is an historic hotel located in Boise, Idaho, United States. The hotel was constructed in 1914 to serve as a boarding house for Basque sheep herders. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 25, 2003. It was built by and/or for Basque immigrant Juan "Jack" Anduiza.It contains a fronton for playing Basque pelota.It was designed by architects Nisbet & Paradice.Nisbet and Paradice designed the "Anduiza Hotel, built as a Basque boarding house with its own fronton (pelota court). The Anduiza is on the National Register of Historic Places and still serves as a center of Basque cultural heritage in Boise."

Centrally, 8th Street contains a pedestrian zone with sidewalk cafes and restaurants. The neighborhood has many local restaurants, bars, and boutiques. The area also contains the Basque Block, which showcases Boise's Basque heritage. Downtown Boise's main attractions include the Idaho State Capitol, the classic Egyptian Theatre on the corner of Capitol Boulevard and Main Street, the Boise Art Museum on Capitol in front of Julia Davis Park, and Zoo Boise on the grounds of Julia Davis Park.

The Cyrus Jacobs House, also known as the Cyrus Jacobs-Uberuaga House and the Basque Museum and Cultural Center, in Boise, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story brick house constructed by Charles May in 1864. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Union Block and Montandon Buildings in Boise, Idaho, are 2-story commercial buildings with rustic sandstone facades. The Romanesque Revival Union Block was designed by John E. Tourtellotte and constructed in 1901, and the Renaissance Revival Montandon Building was designed by J.W. Smith and constructed in 1908. Also known as the Fidelity-Union Block, the buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1979.

The Chinese Odd Fellows Building, in Boise, Idaho, was an Odd Fellows building built in 1911. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It served historically as a clubhouse and as a business. The building was one of many designed or built by the Tourtellotte and Hummel architectural firm of Boise that were covered in a 1982 study.

The US Bank Building is a high-rise building located in Boise, Idaho, formerly the tallest building in the state. Completed in 1978 and renovated in 2004, it rises 267 feet (81 m) spanning 19 floors. It was the tallest building in the state for over thirty years, until surpassed by the 323-foot (98 m) Eighth & Main Building.

The Boise City National Bank building in Boise, Idaho, was designed by architect James King as a 3-story, Richardsonian Romanesque commercial structure, inspired by the Marshall Field's Wholesale Store in Chicago. Construction began in April, 1891, and the building was completed in 1892.The Boise City National Bank building also has been named the Simplot Building, the Baird Building, and the Capital Security Building. Additionally the building is known informally either as the 801 Building or as the 805 Building.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places November 28, 1978.

The Boise Historic District in Boise, Idaho, includes late 19th century and early 20th century buildings constructed of brick, sandstone, or wood in an area roughly bounded by Capitol Boulevard, North 5th Street, West Main Street, and West Idaho Street. The district is located within an area known as Old Boise, and contributing properties were constructed 1879–1920.

The Belgravia Building in Boise, Idaho, is a 2-story, sandstone and brick structure designed and built by John S. Jellison as a set of apartments in the Romanesque Revival style in 1904. Originally known as DuBois Flats and later as Belgravia Terraces, the building was a subject of litigation shortly before its scheduled opening in September 1904, and legal disputes over payment of construction costs delayed the opening until June 1906.

The Idaho Building in Boise, Idaho, is a 6-story, Second Renaissance Revival commercial structure designed by Tourtellotte & Co. Constructed for Boise City real estate developer Walter E. Pierce in 1910–11, the building represented local aspirations that Boise City would become another Chicago. The facade features brick pilasters above a ground floor stone base, separated by seven bays with large plate glass windows in each bay. Terracotta separates the floors, with ornamentation at the sixth floor below a denticulated cornice of galvanized iron.The building replaced Thompson's Livery barn at 8th and Bannock Streets. The Chicago firm of H. Ellenberger was responsible for construction, and the Idaho Statesman said of the building in 1911, "The architectural scheme is one of extreme simplicity, and the builder has given his work the appearance of massive solidity."The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places December 8, 1978.

It is led by a bishop who serves as pastor of the cathedral, the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Boise. The Diocese of Boise is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Portland.

The Hoff Building is an historic building in the western United States, located in Boise, Idaho. Designed by Boise architects Tourtellotte & Hummel, it was constructed 93 years ago in 1930 in the style of Art Deco. Known as Hotel Boise until 1976, the building is a contributing resource in the Boise Capitol Area District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 12, 1976.At eleven floors in 1930, the building is considered Boise's first skyscraper and is the eleventh-tallest building in the city.
