The Grand Lodge and Library of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is a building from 1924. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The architects were Hugill & Blatherwick of Sioux Falls.The National Register nomination describes its importance as "the purest example of Neo-classic style in Sioux Falls. The combination of classic elements and internal structural innovations of the early twentieth century, such as steel doors and trim painted to resemble wood and a nine-ton glass floor, enhance the architectural importance of the structure. The use of steel and glass were unique at that time in the city."The building has one of the largest Masonic libraries in the United States. The library has more than 22,000 volumes. The building also has a museum on its second floor.

In 2005, a city-supported group was formed to finance the renovation and re-opening of the venue. In December 2020, the State Theatre resumed screening movies. The historic building was designed by Buechner & Orth, an architecture firm from Saint Paul, Minnesota.

First Congregational Church is a historic church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was built in 1907 and was added to the National Register in 1983.It is a 2+1⁄2-story church with unequal towers at its front corners and a "tower-like structure" on its north facade which holds the rear entrance.A two-story educational wing was added 1955. This structure, designed by Lucas, Craig & Whitwam, originally had a curtain wall of glass and dark panels with aluminum framing on the west facade (i.e. front facade). At some point after the 1983 nomination to the register, this facade was replaced with an attempt to copy the Richardsonian Romanesque exterior of the 1907 church.

The Security Bank Building, also known as the Security Building, is a historic commercial building at 101 South Main Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was the first steel-framed office building to be built in the state. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 for its architectural design and integrity, as well as for being the site of a bank robbery by the Dillinger Gang in 1934.

The Rock Island Depot is a historic railroad station located at 201 East 10th Street in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The station opened in 1886 to serve the Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway, a predecessor of the Rock Island. The ashlar and wood building has a Richardsonian Romanesque design with a side-facing stone gable and an octagonal turret. The interior of the station includes a waiting room, a ticket office, and the station agent's quarters. As the railroad network spread through South Dakota, Sioux Falls became the state's primary commercial and transportation hub due to its established station. The station served passenger trains through Sioux Falls until 1970.The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 15, 1974.
