Stockholm Public Library (Swedish: Stockholms stadsbibliotek or Stadsbiblioteket) is a library building in Stockholm, Sweden, designed by Swedish architect Gunnar Asplund, and one of the city's most notable structures. The name is today used for both the main library itself as well as the municipal library system of Stockholm.

The Stockholm Observatory (Swedish: Stockholms observatorium, 050) is an astronomical observatory and institution in Stockholm, Sweden, founded in the 18th century and today part of Stockholm University. In 1931, the new Stockholm Observatory (Swedish: Saltsjöbaden Observatory, 052), nicknamed "Saltis", was inaugurated on the Karlsbaderberget at Saltsjöbaden, near Stockholm, and operated until 2001.There are records of daily weather observations from the observatory going back to 1754. The Stockholm Observatory site at Saltsjöbaden was established with a 40-inch (102 cm) reflecting telescope from Grubb, built in 1931. Also of historical interest is a double telescope by Grubb, the 24/20-inch refractor, with has one 24-inch aperture another 20-inch on the same mount established in 1931.The old observatory is in modern times a museum (Observatory Museum) and because it is on a hill is known for a good view of city of Stockholm from the dome, and it also has some sculptures and walled garden. The old observatory has many items from across the centuries, including a Repsold telescope, and a marble inlaid meridian line. Many old observatory instruments involved determining the location of stars, the local time, and data was recorded manually. In the late 19th century astrophotography became more common, and the Replsold refractor is known to have been used for making images, which had to be done with chemicals that reacted with light (not with modern electronic devices).

The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE; Swedish: Handelshögskolan i Stockholm, HHS) is a private business school located in city district Vasastaden in the central part of Stockholm, Sweden. SSE offers BSc, MSc and MBA programs, along with PhD- and Executive education programs.SSE's Master program in Finance is ranked no.18 worldwide as of 2018. The Masters in Management program is ranked no. 7 worldwide by the Financial Times. QS ranks SSE no.26 among universities in the field of economics worldwide. The school is the only privately funded university in Sweden. SSE is accredited by EQUIS and is a member of CEMS. SSE has founded sister organizations: SSE Riga in Riga, Latvia, and SSE Russia in St Petersburg and Moscow, Russia. It also operates the European Institute of Japanese Studies (Japanese, kanji: 欧州日本研究所, Japanese, romaji: Ōshū Nihon kenkyūjo), a research institute in Tokyo, Japan.

Bethlehem Church (Swedish: Betlehemskyrkan) is the Swedish Evangelical Mission's church in Stockholm, Sweden. The old church building was consecrated in October 1840 as Sweden's first free church building, under the name Engelska kapellet ('the English Chapel'). It was located near Hötorget in Norrmalm, where the second and third Hötorget buildings are now located and was taken over by the Swedish Evangelical Mission in connection with the founding of the organization in 1856. The church was demolished in 1953 in conjunction with the redevelopment of Norrmalm. The new church was consecrated in 1956 at Luntmakargatan in Vasastan.

Kungstensgymnasiet (KSG) is an upper secondary school from the 10th–12th grade in Vasastan in Stockholm, Sweden. The school is located in Stockholm University's former main building of Kungstensgatan 45. The school is now run by Folkuniversitetet and can accommodate about 400 pupils divided into two programs, Political Science with social science orientation. Program indentations are the economy (2000–2010), entrepreneurship, culture and language, and arts program with photo and language targeting. The school focuses on an interdisciplinary project. In 2009 Kungstensgymnasiet was Sweden's fourth most searched secondary school with an intake limit of 295 points on the Social Science program. Kungstensgymnasiet has an international profile and provide all students undertaking internship in Barcelona, Aix-en-Provence and Düsseldorf. All students study languagesup to step 5; step 6 can be made optional.

\ Milliken Gallery is a Swedish art gallery specializing in emerging and mid-career artists with an international perspective. It was opened in February 2004 by American dealer, Aldy Milliken. Milliken Gallery selects exhibitions based on an artist or artwork's conceptual integrity and market-based qualities. It has produced solo exhibitions with Swedish artists such as Felix Gmelin, Kristina Jansson, Lars NIlsson, Tova Mozard, Matti Kallioinen, and Christine Ödlund, and foreign artists including Tris Vonna-Michell, Lisi Raskin, Olav Westphalen, and Karl Haendel. The gallery juxtaposes solo shows with group exhibitions to introduce the Swedish public to a variety of artists often seen in Biennales and art fairs internationally. For example, Face Your Demons features internationally recognized artists Zsolt Bodoni, Mircea Cantor, Keren Cytter, Jessica Jackson Hutchins, Josiah McElheny, Goshka Macuga, Aleksandra Mir, Alyson Shotz, Magnus Wallin, and Adrian Williams. While some exhibitions have historic value, (such as the exhibit featuring work by KP Brehmer, a contemporary to Joseph Bueys) others delve into issues surrounding the Visual Arts, exploring ideas like the relationship of Art with Craft and Design. Simple, curated by writers/artists Dr. Ronald Jones and Laurie Makela, included artists such as Andrea Zittel, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and early 20th century painter Hilma af Klint. Milliken contracts with international writers and curators to make texts for each exhibition as a way to deepen the dialogue with the public and as a response to the diminishing space given to contemporary art in the daily papers. Director Aldy Milliken is active in other citywide cultural events. He was invited by Maria Lind to participate as a filter at the International Artists Studio Program IASPIS and has curated shows at the American Embassy in Stockholm. He is also a founding member of STHLM STHLM STHLM, a group of Stockholm art institutions that organizes local art events for international professionals. In February 2004,the gallery opened a theater/vitamin factory in central Stockholm. It has 2 exhibition spaces totaling 150 square meters. Its commitment to being part of an international dialogue has led it to work with museums and state collections in the Nordic region, Europe, and the United States. The gallery closed in 2011, when Aldy Milliken accepted a position at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (Swedish: Kungliga Skogs- och Lantbruksakademien), formerly the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture (Kungl. Lantbruksakademien), founded in 1813 at the initiative of Crown Prince Charles, is one of the Royal Academies in Sweden. Initially the Academy had a function of being auxiliary to the central administrative authorities. The Academy now acts an independent organization, promoting agriculture, forestry and related fields with the support of science and practical experience, in the interest of Swedish society.

Tulegatan is a street in Stockholm. It is located in the district of Vasastaden.

Rådmansgatan is an underground station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro. It lies below Sveavägen between its junctions with Rådmansgatan and Rehnsgatan in the district of Vasastaden and borough of Norrmalm in central Stockholm. The station has a single island platform, some 8 metres (26 ft) below street level, and is accessed via a pair of ticket halls at each end of the station. The ticket halls are accessed via staircases and lifts from the street above.The station was opened on 26 October 1952 as a part of the Green line section between Hötorget and Vällingby.The station is decorated with yellow tiles. As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the southern entrance to the station, close to the Strindberg Museum, has enamel works dedicated to the life of August Strindberg. These were executed by Sture Valentin Nilsson and date from 1983.

Vanadislunden is a park located in the district of Vasastaden in central Stockholm, Sweden.
