Biandronno is a town and comune (municipality) located in the province of Varese, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.

Bardello is a frazione (hamlet) of the comune (municipality) of Bardello con Malgesso e Bregano. It is located in the province of Varese, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It had been an autonomous comune until 1 January 2023, when it merged with Bregano and Malgesso, establishing the comune of Bardello con Malgesso e Bregano.

It is located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Milan and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 750 and an area of 2.3 square kilometres (0.89 sq mi). It had been a comune until 1 January 2023, when it merged with Bardello and Malgesso, and became part the newborn comune of Bardello con Malgesso e Bregano.

It shares boundaries with Biandronno, Brebbia, Bregano, Cadrezzate, Comabbio, Ispra, Malgesso, Osmate, Ternate, and the Lago di Monate lake.

Lago di Monate is a lake in the Province of Varese, Lombardy, Italy. At an elevation of 266 m, its surface area is 2.5 km². The municipalities bordering the Lake are Cadrezzate, Comabbio, Osmate and Travedona-Monate.

Osmate was a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northwest of Milan and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 550 and an area of 3.4 square kilometres (1.3 sq mi).In 2019 it merged with the nearby Cadrezzate forming the new municipality of Cadrezzate con Osmate.
