Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is a stadium complex located in the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona, at the former site of the Indian Bend Country Club. It serves as the Major League Baseball spring-training facility for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies, replacing Tucson Electric Park for the Diamondbacks and Hi Corbett Field for the Rockies. The complex represents the first MLB park to be built on Native American Indian land.

OdySea Aquarium in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a marine aquarium, and the largest aquarium in the Southwest United States. Talking Stick Resort is a luxury hotel and casino resort located on the Salt-River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation near Scottsdale, Arizona. The hotel tower, which was designed by FFKR Architects, has 15 stories and stands at 200 feet and six inches. Talking Stick Resort is independently owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC). In total, Talking Stick Resort occupies 55.6 acres with an additional 20 acres for extra parking space. The 240,000 square feet property includes a 98,000 square feet casino, 496 guest rooms, 21 meeting rooms, six entertainment lounges and five restaurants. It also contains a 25,000 square feet Grand Ballroom, a spa spanning 13,000 square feet, a fitness center, Showroom that seats 650 and four pools. In April 2014, Talking Stick Resort renovated its pool area, adding a new lounge pool and a stage for outdoor concerts. Entertainers who have performed on the poolside stage include Journey, Foreigner, Bad Company and Hollywood Vampires. In addition to Talking Stick Resort's headline concerts, the RELEASE Pool Parties have also attracted an array of world renowned DJs including Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Skrillex.

Named after the Norwegian explorer, the Roald Amundsen is a former Pullman Company private car; the last of seven Explorer-series cars built between 1927 and 1929 for the Pullman Company's pool of passenger cars. It was frequently used as the United States Presidential Rail Car, and was used for every president from Herbert Hoover through Dwight Eisenhower.During World War II, sister car Ferdinand Magellan was rebuilt as the official presidential private car; after the war, the Roald Amundsen was surplus to the Pullman Company's requirements and was sold, and became a business car for the New York Central Railroad. In 1971 it was donated to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale, Arizona.In 2009 the Roald Amundsen was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Its mascot is the firebird, and the school colors are black, red, and gold.Chaparral opened in February 1973 with 800 students, comprising freshman, sophomore, and junior classes. The principal was Spencer Saunders Sr. The initial structures were built at a cost of $3.5 million. Chaparral's first graduates were the class of 1974. The original campus was designed by Varney, Sexton, Sydnor Associates. TGK Construction Company built the campus with construction starting in 1971.In 2008 many of the outdated buildings were demolished and replaced with new ones designed by Orcutt | Winslow Architects.In 2014, Newsweek ranked Chaparral No. 22 among top American high schools, and No. 1 in Arizona.

The Louise Lincoln Kerr House and Studio (also referred to as the Kerr Cultural Center) is a facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, owned and operated by Arizona State University. It was originally the house of Louise Lincoln Kerr and was willed to the university upon her death in 1977. In 2010, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Scottsdale Community College is a public community college in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is on the eastern boundary of the city on 160 acres (650,000 m2) of land belonging to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The lease was taken out in 1970 and will expire in 2069. The college is part of the Maricopa County Community College District.
