Wust, Saxony-Anhalt

Wulkow is a village and a former municipality in the Jerichower Land district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Jerichow.

Wust-Fischbeck is a municipality in the district of Stendal, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 1 January 2010 by the merger of the former municipalities Wust and Fischbeck.

Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Schönhausen.It lies along the Elbe river. In 2013, the railway between Hohengöhren and Schönhausen experienced significant flooding due to a dam burst.

The Jerichow Monastery (German: Kloster Jerichow) is a former Premonstratensian monastery located in the northern outskirts of Jerichow, near the shores of the Elbe River, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt of Germany. Founded by the Premonstratensians, it was not a monastery but the Collegiate Church of St. Mary and St. Nicholas. Except of the towers built in the Late Romanesque style, it is one of the oldest brick buildings in northern Germany and a prime example of the Brandenburg style of brick architecture. It is one of the stops of the "Romanesque Road".
