The Eric Sloane Museum (formerly known as the Sloane-Stanley Museum) in Kent, Connecticut, is a museum featuring the studio and antique hand tool collections of Eric Sloane. It is owned and operated by the State Historic Preservation Office of Connecticut. The property includes the Kent Iron Furnace, a granite blast furnace which produced pig iron for almost 70 years, beginning in 1826. The furnace is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Flanders Historic District is a historic district that encompasses a small cluster of late-18th to early-19th century residential structures north of the center of Kent, Connecticut, which was the original heart of the community when it was first settled. It is centered at the junction of United States Route 7 with Cobble Road and Studio Hill Road. The area was supplanted by the current town center in the 1840s. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Kent station is a former train station in Kent, Connecticut. The station building was built in the 1870s to serve passengers on the Housatonic Railroad. The depot was anticipated to be completed and operating by August 1, 1872. However, by April 1873 only the foundation and a portion of the framework was completed. Once completed, the depot was described as "one of the finest" on the Housatonic RR.The structure still stands today and operates as Kent Station Pharmacy.

The Litchfield Jazz Festival began in 1996 at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield Hills in Connecticut. Visitors can camp in a 51-site campground, picnic, fish, and hike the blue-blazed Macedonia Ridge Trail, which crosses Cobble Mountain and other peaks. The park's first 1,552 acres (628 ha) were a gift made in 1918 by the White Memorial Foundation.

It is sited on Spooner Hill east of Bull's Bridge, overlooking the former Housatonic Valley rail-line, Hatch Pond, and the 'whistle-stop' South Kent station, and is itself overlooked by Bull Mountain. The school has an operating budget of approximately $14 million and a staff of less than 100. From its inception, South Kent School was intended to offer a service-oriented education "at minimum cost for boys of ability and character, who presumably on graduation must be self-supporting. Kent Falls State Park is a public recreation area located in the town of Kent, Connecticut, within the Litchfield Hills region of the southern Berkshires. The state park is home to Kent Falls, a series of waterfalls on Falls Brook, a tributary of the Housatonic River. The falls drop 250 feet (76 m) in under a quarter mile. The largest cascade drops more than 70 feet (21 m) into a reflecting pool, before traveling over the lesser falls.
