The Alcázar Genil is a Muslim-era palace in the city of Granada, Spain. It was originally called al-Qasr al-Sayyid ("the palace of the lord") and is located beside the River Genil outside the city walls. Today, only a pavilion of the palace is preserved. It currently houses the Francisco Ayala Foundation.

Parque de las Ciencias is a science center and museum, part of the European Network of Science Centers and Museums (ECSITE), located in the city of Granada, Spain. Under the motto "A new kind of Museum", Parque de las Ciencias was founded in 1990 and opened in 1995. The museum has been solely directed by Ernesto Páramo Sureda since its establishment and its successive expansions. Some of the museum’s highlights are its Plastination Lab and Restoration and Production Workshops. Parque de las Ciencias council members consists of: The University of Granada, The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the local provincial and regional governments and The Caja Granada Foundation. Some of the museum’s exhibitions are its 'Windows to Science' and 'Live Science', which through crystal bounded spaces, provides the visitors with the experience of being in an actual lab.

El Zaidín is a district located in the South of the city of Granada. It is also known by the name of Zaidín-Vergeles. It is the most populated neighborhood. In the north lie the neighborhoods of Cervantes and Mirasierra, to the west lies Figares neighborhood, to the south lies Armilla and to the east lies La Zubia. It is formed by the old neighbourhoods of Casillas Bajas, Santa Adela, Vergeles, Madrigales, La Cruzada, Ciudad Jardín, Divina Infantita, Parque de las Infantas and Alminares and Cruz de Lagos, Palacio de Deportes and Campus de la Salud. The Casa-Museo Federico García Lorca, better known as Huerta de San Vicente, was the García Lorca family's historical summer home, from 1926 to 1936.The house and orchards are now at the heart of Granada's Park Federico García Lorca, which was inaugurated in 1995.

The Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of Granada (Spanish: Facultad de Traducción e Interpretación de Granada), also known as FTI UGR, is the translation and interpreting school of the University of Granada, considered the best academic institution for translation and interpreting studies in Spain.The school is located at the 18th century Palace of the Counts of Luque (Spanish: Palacio de los Condes de Luque), better known as Palace of the Columns, in the heart of the city of Granada. Their motto is Fidus interpres. Being one of the first Spanish institutions to offer studies in the field of Translation and Interpreting, the school has a large teaching experience in the field and offers the widest language range in the country: four languages B (first foreign language: Arabic, English, French and German), nine languages C (second foreign language: Arabic, Chinese, French, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Russian), plus other four optional languages (Dutch, Polish, Galician and Czech). It was also the first Spanish academic institution to offer Translation and Interpreting studies with Arabic as first foreign language. Member of the Conférence Internationale Permanente d'Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et d’interprètes (CIUTI), it is a centre of national and international prestige. It hosts several research groups, carries out European R+D projects, elaborates award-winning programmes for fresh approaches to teaching and publishes two magazines (Sendebar and Puentes). FTI also orientates its curriculum to the current demands of the profession, which usually guarantees work opportunities to its graduates.

The Corral del Carbón, originally al-Funduq al-Jadida, is a 14th-century historic building in the Spanish city of Granada (Andalusia). It is the only funduq (commercial warehouse or inn) or alhóndiga preserved from the Nasrid period in the Iberian peninsula. The building is located south of the Albaicin quarter, near the present-day Cathedral (formerly the city's Great Mosque).

The Royal Chapel of Granada (Spanish: Capilla Real de Granada) is an Isabelline style building, constructed between 1505 and 1517, and originally integrated in the complex of the neighbouring Granada Cathedral. It is the burial place of the Spanish monarchs, Queen Isabella I and King Ferdinand, the Catholic Monarchs. Apart from these historical links, this building also contains a gallery of artworks and other items associated with Queen Isabella.

Granada Cathedral, or the Cathedral of the Incarnation (Spanish: Catedral de Granada, Santa Iglesia Catedral Metropolitana de la Encarnación de Granada), is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Granada, capital of the province of the same name in the Autonomous Region of Andalusia, Spain. The cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Granada. Like many other cathedrals in Andalusia, it was built on top of the city's main mosque after the reconquest of Granada.

The Alcaicería is a market street in the historic heart of the city of Granada, Spain. It is located on the site of the former main bazaar, from which it derives its name (Arabic: القيسرية, romanized: al-qaysariyya). The original bazaar dated from the city's Arab-Islamic era, during the period of Nasrid rule (13th-15th centuries), but it was destroyed by fire in 1843 and subsequently rebuilt in its current form.
