The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08088.As of the 2010 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08088 was 24,664.

The Southampton Township Schools are a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Southampton Township, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising three schools, had an enrollment of 734 students and 70.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. Southampton Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 10,317, a decrease of 147 (−1.4%) from the 10,464 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn had reflected an increase of 76 (+0.7%) from the 10,388 counted at the 2000 census. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.What is now Southampton was originally incorporated as Coaxen Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 10, 1845, from portions of Northampton Township (now known as Mount Holly Township). The name lasted for about three weeks when it was renamed Southampton Township on April 1, 1845. As the population increased, portions of the township were taken to form Pemberton Township (March 10, 1846), Shamong Township (February 19, 1852), Lumberton Township (March 14, 1860), Woodland Township (March 7, 1866) and Tabernacle Township (March 22, 1901).

Beaverville is an unincorporated community located within Southampton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area is composed of single-family homes, small businesses and warehouses, forest, and farmland. The community is located along Red Lion Road (County Route 641) two miles (3.2 km) south of Vincentown, to the west of U.S. Route 206, and southeast of the Red Lion Airport. Originally, the settlement was the site of a one-room schoolhouse.

The North Branch Rancocas Creek is a 31-mile-long (50 km) tributary of Rancocas Creek in southwestern New Jersey in the United States.The creek starts in the Pine Barrens of Brendan T. Byrne State Forest and Fort Dix Military Reservation, near Browns Mills.From its confluence with Rancocas Creek, tidewater extends upstream to the upper end of Mount Holly.The North Branch Rancocas Creek drains an area of 167 square miles. The creek is among the more developed portions of the Rancocas Creek watershed.

Ewansville or Ewanville is an unincorporated community located in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is centered on the crossing of U.S. Route 206 (US 206) and the North Branch Rancocas Creek just north of the former Philadelphia and Long Branch Railway (later Pennsylvania Railroad). Ewansville was the site of a station on the aforementioned railroad and was the terminus for a short spur track to Vincentown.Ewansville is located near the tripoint of Eastampton, Pemberton, Southampton townships. Pemberton Township is situated north of the creek and east of US 206, Eastampton Township generally to the west of US 206, and Southampton comprises the remaining area. Some trailer parks line US 206 in this area but permanent houses are also located on nearby Railroad Avenue and Indian Trail.

Retreat is an unincorporated community and former hamlet located within Southampton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area consists of some residential houses grouped together along Big Hill Road and Retreat Road. A large cranberry bog exists to the southeast of the community while Leisuretowne retirement community is located southwest of here. Most of the remaining area consists of forestland.The community was originally named New Retreat during the American Revolutionary War by a Continental Army soldier who used the site for a cannonball manufacturing. The site was concealed from the British army who at the time was occupying present-day Mount Holly. Retreat was later home to cotton mills which operated until the 1840s.

Buddtown is an unincorporated community located within Southampton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located between Vincentown and Pemberton, it is named for Thomas Budd who owned farmland in the area in the 18th century. The area itself contains houses and churches in the community itself and farmland surrounding the settlement. The stream that runs through Buddtown is named Stop the Jade Run supposedly named for the cry made by the owners of a runaway horse, "jade" being an old name for a horse.

Eayrestown is an unincorporated community located within Lumberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is named for Richard and Elizabeth Eayres, the first settlers of the site in the 1600s. It was also the first settlement in what is now Lumberton Township. The settlement, located along the South Branch Rancocas Creek, was the site of numerous saw and gristmills early in its history and a picnic grove that attracted people from around the area. Today, numerous farms and housing developments dot the area.

Smithville was a village in Eastampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. It was originally established as Shreveville in 1831 by Jonathan and Samuel Shreve as a textile village on the Rancocas Creek. It was purchased by Hezekiah Bradley Smith in 1865 and renamed to Smithville. The Smithville post office was established in 1866. The H. B. Smith Machine Company, which produced the American Star Bicycle beginning in 1880, was located there. In 1962, the Smithville Post Office was closed. In 1975, Burlington County purchased the property and created the first park in the county. It is listed on the National and New Jersey Registers of Historic Places as the Smithville Historic District.

Birmingham is an unincorporated community located within Pemberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the ZIP Code Tabulation Area for ZIP Code 08011 had a population of 33. Though sparsely populated, it houses a post office and a Lanxess chemical facility.
