The Kentucky Home (also known as the Anderson Hotel) was a historic home in Miami, Florida. It was located at 1221 and 1227 Northeast 1st Avenue. On January 4, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, but afterwards it was demolished.

Network Access Point (NAP) of the Americas (also called MI1) is a massive, six-story, 750,000 square foot data center and Internet exchange point in Miami, Florida, operated by Equinix. It is located at 50 NE 9th Street in downtown Miami.The facility is home to 160 network carriers and is a pathway for data traffic from the Caribbean and South and Central America to more than 150 countries. It is also home to one of the K-roots of the Domain Name System.The NAP of the Americas is built 32 feet above sea level and is designed to withstand Category 5 hurricane-level winds. It provides access to 15 subsea cable landings and serves as a relay for the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Telecommunications Service.

Eleventh Street is a Metromover station in the Park West neighborhood of Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station, opened May 26, 1994, is located at the intersection of Northeast Second Avenue and 11th Street, just southeast of the Arts & Entertainment District.

Paramount Miami Worldcenter is a 60-story condominium tower in the Miami Worldcenter complex. The building contains 569 residential units, as well as an extensive amenities deck, containing an outdoor soccer field, two tennis courts, bungalows, gardens, a rooftop observatory, resort-style pools, walking paths, a game room, an indoor basketball court, a boxing studio, a golf simulator, 26 pool-side cabanas, and a "skyport", a landing area for flying cars.

On August 5, 1974, at 10:24 a.m. EDT, a Federal office building housing the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Miami Field Division office in downtown Miami, Florida, United States, collapsed after the roof caved in, causing the deaths of seven DEA employees and injuries to 15 others.Initial speculation centered on a theory that the cars parked on a six-inch-thick slab of concrete on the roof were too heavy, causing the collapse. Investigations later concluded that resurfacing of the parking lot combined with salt in the sand had eroded the supporting steel structure of the building, weakening it catastrophically.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts center located in Miami, Florida. It is one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States.The center was partly built on the site of a former Sears department store; an Art Deco building constructed in 1929, pre-dating the Art Deco hotels on Ocean Drive. It was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1997 as Sears, Roebuck and Company Department Store. However, by 2001, the only surviving part of the original structure was the seven-story tower designed by Sears as its store's grand entrance. The department store space itself had been demolished and developers decided to preserve the tower and incorporate it into the new performing arts center. It has been adaptively restored as a bookstore-café called the Café at Books & Books.

Marquis is a skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in northeastern Downtown, on Biscayne Bay along the west side of Biscayne Boulevard. It was topped out in March 2008. The tower is 679 feet (207 m) tall and contains 67 floors.The building currently stands as the 5th tallest building in Miami and the state of Florida, behind the Panorama Tower, the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, the Southeast Financial Center, and One Thousand Museum. The building is located across from Museum Park in northern downtown on Biscayne Boulevard between Northeast 11th Street and 12th Street, adjacent to the Eleventh Street Metromover Station. Levels 1–3 are used by retail & the hotel. Floors 5–14 are used for parking, hotel units and amenities, and floors 15–64 contain residential units. Floors 65-67 contain the upper levels of the penthouses on the 64th level. Many of these penthouses are three or four levels.

Ten Museum Park is a residential skyscraper in Miami, Florida. It is located in northeastern Downtown, on Biscayne Bay along the west side of Biscayne Boulevard. It was designed by Chad Oppenheim of Oppenheim Architecture + Design. Completed in early 2007, it opened for residential occupancy in mid-2007. The building is 585 feet (178 m) tall, and has 50 floors with 200 units. The building itself is designed to reflect the heat from the sun while still keeping warmth, and designed to withstand 140 mph winds. As of June 2020, it stood as the 22nd-tallest building in Miami. Ten Museum Park contains 20,000 square feet (1,858 m²) of Class A office space, retail space on the lower floors, and residential condominium units, which occupy most of the space on the upper floors.

One Thousand Museum is a high-rise residential condominium in Miami, Florida, United States. The building, which is located at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard, across from Museum Park, was designed Zaha Hadid Architects. The initial design was started by Zaha Hadid. Completed in 2019, the 62-story building stands at a height of 707 feet (215 m), making it one of the tallest buildings in Miami.The deep foundation required drilling to record depths of over 170 feet (52 m) by HJ Foundation, part of the Keller Group. The depths of two auger-cast piles broke a record for Miami-Dade County that had recently been set by HJ Foundation at the Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach.The exotic design of the building features a curving exoskeleton partially obscuring the balconies that also serves structural purposes, allowing the interior space to have fewer columns. To meet the architect's designs of smoothness and finish, the columns were finished with glass fiber reinforced concrete permanent form works. The effect of the design and height on wind loading is part of the reason the foundation had to be exceptionally deep. The building is considered ultra-luxury, containing about 84 large units priced at about double the cost per square foot of nearby condominium towers, with amenities possibly including a rooftop helipad.In early 2018, before the building was finished, an episode of PBS' Impossible Builds featured the building, which they referred to as the "scorpion tower", and described it as "one of the most complex skyscrapers ever to make it off the drawing board."

Miami Arena was an indoor arena located in Miami, Florida. The venue served as the home of the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). From 1988 until 1999, it also was the indoor arena for the Miami Hurricanes.

Park West is a Metromover station in the Park West neighborhood of Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located at the intersection of Northeast Second Avenue and Eighth Street. It opened to service May 26, 1994, and is two blocks northwest of the Miami-Dade Arena.

The Fire Station No. 2 (also known as the Old Fire Station No. 2) is a historic fire station in Miami, Florida. On January 4, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. A proposal for it to be designated as a City of Miami historic site was prepared by the city's historic preservation program, and it was so designated.The building is now owned by a community redevelopment agency (CRA) called the Omni CRA. Ownership was transferred from the Miami. In late 2011, the Omni CRA launched a US$2M renovation in order to refurbish the building and use it as the CRA's main office. The nearby Omni Center was purchased in October 2011 by the Genting Group in an effort to establish a Las Vegas-style gambling operation. The vacant Fire Station No. 2 was constructed in 1926 by architect August C. Geiger, the tenth registered architect in Florida. The groundbreaking ceremony took place onsite on December 19, 2011.
