Barnhill Tollhouse

Kinfauns Castle West Lodge, also known as Rockdale Cottage, is a 19th-century gatehouse in Kinfauns, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. A Category C listed building, it was completed in 1826, the work of Robert Smirke.The gatehouse originally had four octagonal gate piers (capped by a pair of draped shields at centre and a pair of lions on the outermost piers) across its driveway immediately to the west, but one of each has since been removed, along with other alterations having been made to the building itself. The sculptor of the pier heads was John Cochrane.

Branklyn Garden is a hillside public garden in the Kinnoull area of the Scottish city of Perth. The garden is set in 2 acres (0.81 ha) in the western foothills of Kinnoull Hill. A National Trust for Scotland site, the garden was established in 1922 by John and Dorothy Renton, who built a house on the property. The couple's desire was to have a garden that featured rare and unusual plants, along with flowers from all over the world. Several people, including George Forrest and Frank Ludlow, collected seeds for the garden, which now has over 3,500 species of plants. Today, the garden is also home to several national collections of plants, including Meconopsis and Cassiope.

Moncreiffe Island, also known as Friarton Island, is an island in Perth, Scotland. It divides the River Tay into two channels as it flows through Perth, and is crossed by the single-track Tay Viaduct, carrying the Scottish Central Railway. One half of the island is within Perth; the other is within Kinnoull parish.

Barnhill railway station served the suburb of Barnhill, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, from 1847 to 1849 by the Dundee and Perth Railway.

HM Prison Friarton (later Friarton Detention Centre, Friarton Borstal and Friarton Hall Young Offenders Institution) was a place of detention for young (male) offenders aged between 16 and 21. It was located on the outskirts of Perth, Scotland, opposite the southern end of the city's Friarton Island. It occupied the former site of Friarton Fever Hospital, designed by Perth natives J. & G. Young. Upon its opening in 1963, it became one of two such establishments in Scotland, the other being South Inch House (what is now HM Prison Glenochil) in Clackmannanshire.The facility was established after South Inch House reached its capacity. It changed from being a youth detention centre into being a Borstal four years later, after South Inch House expanded its capacity, before becoming a young offenders institute in April 1970.In 1999, the Institution became part of HM Prison Perth, just over a mile to the north on the same Edinburgh Road, and its buildings demolished to make way for a housing estate. In 2010, the facility within HM Prison Perth it moved to was put on the market because it was "underused and had inadequate facilities".

King James VI Golf Club, located in Perth, Scotland, is a private golf course also open to visitors. The River Tay setting is notable as it is the country's only self-contained course on a river island. The Island course is only accessible by foot by a side-walk on the side of a train bridge crossing the River Tay. Founded in 1858 nearby at Perth's North Inch, then relocated to Moncreiffe Island in 1897, and a purpose-built course designed by 'Old' Tom Morris, the legendary winner of multiple British Open Championships. The club is currently captained by Roger Gordon, with Allan Knox the resident professional.

St Mary's Monastery is an ecumenical Christian spirituality and retreat centre in Kinnoull, Perth, Scotland. It was built in 1868 by the Redemptorists. Until 1971, it also served as a novitiate for the Redemptorists. In 1870, the church and shrine, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, was built within the grounds. It is located on Hatton Road, to the east of Kinnoull, on the edge of Kinnoull Hill, overlooking the city of Perth. The building has been registered as a category B listed building by Historic Environment Scotland, and was the first Roman Catholic monastery established in Scotland since the Reformation.

The Tay Viaduct, also known as the West Railway Bridge, is a single-track railway viaduct in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is around 440 m (1,440 ft) long. It carries the Scottish Central Railway, via a pronounced curve, across the River Tay to and from Perth railway station, 0.5 mi (800 m) to the west. Built in 1864, the work of London's Francis Freeman & Lee, it replaced an earlier double-track timber viaduct dating from 1849. The first pier of today's structure is for a double track, but the line is now single. The viaduct has seven iron girder spans on the city side of the river, ten stone arches on Moncreiffe Island, and six iron girder spans to the east of Moncreiffe Island. The earlier bridge had 25 arches and an iron swing bridge. The bridge has two spans across the Tay from Perth: the first is to Moncreiffe Island; the second is from Moncreiffe Island to Barnhill on the river's eastern banks. It has a pedestrian walkway on the outer edge of its curve. The curve is less severe than its predecessor's was. The current structure has seventeen chains.

Rodney Gardens is an urban garden in the Kinnoull area of the Scottish city of Perth, on the eastern banks of the River Tay. Named for Admiral George Rodney of the Royal Navy, the gardens are situated on the former site of a mill.One sculpture, known as "Millais Viewpoint", is by Tim Shutter. The view, through the two lower corners of a stone picture frame, recreates the view seen in the 1856 painting Autumn Leaves by John Everett Millais.Immediately to the south of the gardens is Kinnoull Burial Ground, an ancient cemetery formerly part of an earlier guise of Kinnoull Parish Church. Its gates are kept locked; visitors wishing to enter are asked to get the keys from the reception in the adjacent Rodney Fitness Centre.

Somerset is an historic villa in Kinnoull, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Located on Kinnoull Terrace, it is a Category C listed building, built around 1868. It is one of five listed properties on the street, denoted by Historic Environment Scotland as items of special interest. Several of the properties appear on maps of Perth from the 1860s.

Kinnoull Hill is a hill located partly in Perth and partly in Kinfauns, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It shares its name with the nearby Kinnoull parish.
