Stamford (CDP), Vermont

The Tudor House is a historic house on Vermont Route 8 in Stamford, Vermont. Built in 1900 by what was probably then the town's wealthiest residents, this transitional Queen Anne/Colonial Revival house is one of the most architecturally sophisticated buildings in the rural mountain community. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Bakke Mountain is a summit located in the town of Florida, Massachusetts. It was named for Master Sergeant Roald Bakke, who died in the collapse of Texas Tower 4. The mountain is the scene of wildlife and forest conservation efforts and serves as one of the primary sites of the Hoosac Wind Project. The Bakke Mountain Wind Farm is an alternative energy wind plant located on the mountain.

Clarksburg is a town in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,657 at the 2020 census.

Hoosac Wind Power Project is a wind farm on Crum Hill in Monroe, Massachusetts and on Bakke Mountain in Florida, Massachusetts. Owned and operated by Iberdrola Renewables, it is the largest wind farm in Massachusetts, with 19 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines and a total installed capacity of 28.5 MW. The Hoosac Wind power project became fully operational in 2012 and provides enough electricity to power 10,000 homes annually.

Natural Bridge State Park is a Massachusetts state park located in the city of North Adams in the northwestern part of the state. Named for its natural bridge of white marble, unique in North America, the park also offers woodland walks with views of a dam made of white marble, and a picturesque old marble quarry.

North Adams Regional Hospital was a full-service community hospital in North Adams, Massachusetts. It served the Northern Berkshire communities of Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, Lanesborough, North Adams, Savoy, Williamstown and communities in southern Vermont and in eastern New York state. The hospital was part of Northern Berkshire Healthcare (NBH), a not-for-profit organization. NBH closed it on March 28, 2014.The facility was re-opened as a part of Berkshire Health Systems under the name: Berkshire Health North, the facility includes 24 hour Emergency Care, Primary and Specialty Care, Labs and Imaging as well as Community Health programs.

Crum Hill, 2,841 feet (866 m), located in northwest Massachusetts, United States, in the towns of Monroe and Florida, is the highest point in Franklin County. The mountain, part of the Hoosac Range (a west facing escarpment rising from the Hoosic River Valley directly east of North Adams, Massachusetts), is crossed by a trail system maintained by a local snowmobile club, the Florida Mountaineers. They maintain a trail map on their website.Although Crum Hill is the highest geologic point of the Berkshires, Mount Greylock, 3,491 feet (1,064 m), part of the Taconic Mountains and unrelated to the Berkshires geology, is often misattributed with the high point.The summit of Crum Hill is located in the town of Monroe, Franklin County; the west side of the mountain is located in the town of Florida, part of Berkshire County. The north and east sides of Crum Hill drain into Dunbar Brook, thence into the Deerfield River, the Connecticut River, and Long Island Sound; the west side drains into the Cold River, thence into the Deerfield River; and the south side drains into the Deerfield River via several small brooks. The summit is also the site of the Hoosac Wind Power Project.

The Armstrong House is a historic house located in North Adams, Massachusetts. Built about 1875, it is a well-preserved example of a locally idiosyncratic Italianate style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1985.
