Burwen is a village in Anglesey, Wales, in the community of Amlwch. Located on the A5025, it is 1 kilometre southwest of the larger village of Bull Bay and 2.2 kilometres west of the town of Amlwch. Burwen contains the council cemetery of Amlwch, which was established in 1863.

Bull Bay Lifeboat Station was located at Bull Bay (Porth Llechog), near the town of Amlwch, on the north coast of Anglesey, Wales. A lifeboat was first stationed here by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1868. Bull Bay Lifeboat Station was closed in 1926.

Porth Wen Brickworks first built by Charles E Tidy, is now a disused Victorian brickworks which produced fire bricks, made from quartzite (silica) used to line steel-making furnaces. The substantial remains include a number of buildings and the remains of some of the machinery, but has some damage from sea erosion. The site is a scheduled monument.

Torllwyn is a headland in Anglesey, Wales, approximately 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) ENE of Porthllechog.

St Mary's Church, Bodewryd (; Welsh: [bɔd'ɛʊrɪd]) is a small medieval church in the hamlet of Bodewryd, in Anglesey, north Wales. The date of construction is unknown, but there was a church on this site in 1254 and the earliest feature to which a date can be given is a doorway in a 15th-century style dating to around 1500. When the church was restored in 1867 after being struck by lightning, stained glass with Islamic-influenced patterns was included in the windows, a requirement of Lord Stanley of Alderley, the church's benefactor, who was a convert to Islam. The church is used for worship by the Church in Wales, and is one of five churches in a combined parish. It is a Grade II listed building, a national designation given to "buildings of special interest, which warrant every effort being made to preserve them", in particular because it is a "simple, rural church of Medieval origins."

Tyddyn Dai is a hamlet in the community of Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales, which is 141.4 miles (227.6 km) from Cardiff and 220.7 miles (355.1 km) from London.

Rhosgoch railway station was situated on the Anglesey Central Railway line from Gaerwen to Amlwch. It had a small platform on the Down (west) side of the track, the original wooden building on which was replaced in 1882 by a brick building. To the north of the platform was a small goods yard. In the 1970s a private siding was constructed to connect the line to the Shell Oil Tank Farm nearby.All stations on the Anglesey Central line closed to passengers in 1964 as part of the Beeching Axe although freight works continued until 1993. The goods yard and Tank Farm have been removed but the sidings and station building remains, the former owned by Isle of Anglesey County Council and the latter by a private individual.

Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones is a mixed bilingual community school for pupils between 11 and 18 years of age in the Pentrefelin area of Amlwch, Anglesey. The school serves the town and the rural catchment area.

Rhosgoch (; meaning: Red Moor) is a small village in the north of the island of Anglesey, Wales, about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to the south-west of Amlwch. It is in the community of Rhosybol. A short distance to the west of the village is the small lake Llyn Hafodol and a mile to the south is Anglesey's largest body of water the reservoir Llyn Alaw (Water Lily Lake).The village once had a station on the Anglesey Central Railway. Although the tracks still exist, no train has run on them since 1993. Also connected to the railway, was a short south-west facing spur that led to an oil terminal. This was linked to a floating dock in the sea off of Amlwch, where super-tankers could dock in all tides and feed oil via Rhosgoch and a pipeline to Stanlow oil refinery. This operation lasted for 16 years between 1974 and 1990.The first tornado of the record-breaking 1981 United Kingdom tornado outbreak, an F1/T2 tornado, touched down close to Rhosgoch at around 10:19 local time on 23 November 1981.

Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Winefride (Welsh: Mair, Seren Y Mor a Santes Wenfrewi) is a Roman Catholic church in Amlwch, a town on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. It was built in the 1930s to a design by an Italian architect, Giuseppe Rinvolucri, using reinforced concrete. The church is in the shape of an upturned boat, reflecting Amlwch's maritime heritage, and is dedicated to Our Lady, Star of the Sea (a title of St Mary) and St Winefride, a Welsh saint. The church is a Grade II* listed building, a designation given to "particularly important buildings of more than special interest", because it is a "remarkable inter-war church", built to "a highly unusual and experimental design". The Twentieth Century Society has called it "a rare and unique church", and it has also been called "one of Britain's most avant-garde churches".

Bull Bay (Welsh: Porth Llechog) is a village and bay on the northern coast of Anglesey, Wales, close to Amlwch. Its Welsh name, Porth Llechog, means "sheltered bay". The English name is derived from Pwll y Tarw ("the bull's pool"), which is located near the shore close to the bay. The village is located on the A5025. It is the most northerly village in Wales. Also, it contains Wales' most northerly golf course which was opened and funded by a local aristocrat in 1913 to a design by Herbert Fowler. The island of East Mouse lies within the bay, the coastline of which is rocky and contains many caves. Some of these rocks are over 570 million years old which make them amongst the oldest in Wales. The population as of the 2011 census was 287 with 61% having no form of Welsh identity. Bull Bay is the home of Trireme Ynys Mon Rowing Club, a sea rowing club affiliated with the Welsh Sea Rowing Association. It mainly races with three classes of boat: Pembrokeshire Longboat, Celtic Longboat and Euro, with a boathouse near the site of the former lifeboat station.
