Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (Puritan Reformed) is a Calvinist seminary located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The seminary started in 1995 as a school of the Heritage Reformed Congregations, a church association that originated in 1993 from the Netherlands Reformed Congregations. Founded in 1995, PRTS is a graduate school. All of its faculty subscribe the Three Forms of Unity and the Westminster Standards. The current president of Puritan Reformed is Dr. Joel R Beeke.Because the Heritage Reformed Congregations work closely with the Free Reformed Churches of North America (FRC), the latter also supports the Puritan Reformed. Since 1998, the Puritan Reformed has also been the official training of the FRC, the sister churches of the Dutch Christian Reformed Churches.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is a 158-acre (64 ha) botanical garden, art museum, and outdoor sculpture park located in Grand Rapids Township, Michigan, United States. Opened in 1995, Meijer Gardens quickly established itself in the Midwest as a major cultural attraction jointly focused on horticulture and sculpture.Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park includes a tropical conservatory, an 8-acre Japanese garden, major works of modern and contemporary sculpture on the grounds and indoors, along with a series of outdoor gardens and nature trails. It is a well attended cultural site in Michigan, having attracted 750,000 visitors annually between 2015 - 2017. Reeds Lake is a fresh-water lake in the city of East Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Formerly the site of an early-20th-century amusement park and resort popular with residents of nearby Grand Rapids, it is adjacent to the suburb's modern-day city center, and serves as a symbol for the community. It is surrounded by private residences along most of its north, east, and south shores, and by public parks municipal facilities, and a few businesses on its west and northwest shores. The Reeds Lake Triathlon takes place in early September, and the Reeds Lake Run is typically in late June. A paved/boardwalk footpath around the lake is 4.2 miles (6.8 km) long.

Fisk Lake is a freshwater lake in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was named for John Fisk. Now primarily valued for scenic purposes, it was originally used as a source of ice for Grand Rapids, Michigan and the Chicago meatpacking industries. It receives water from Reeds Lake, and drains to the Grand River by way of Coldbrook Creek.
