Heart Wirral (formerly Wirral's Buzz) was an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the Wirral Peninsula, sharing its facilities with Heart Wrexham and Gold, in Gwersyllt, Wrexham.

Capital North West and Wales is a regional radio station owned and operated by Global as part of the Capital network. It broadcasts to Cheshire, the Wirral Peninsula & North Wales. The station broadcasts from its studios in Gwersyllt, Wrexham, the former headquarters of Marcher Radio Group. The station was previously part of the Heart radio network, which began broadcasting on 2 July 2010 as a result of a merger between Heart Cheshire and North East Wales (formerly Marcher Sound), Heart Wirral (formerly Wirral's Buzz) and Heart North Wales Coast (formerly Coast 96.3). It switched to Capital on 6 May 2014.

Heart North Wales Coast (formerly Coast 96.3 and originally Marcher Coast FM) was an independent local radio station broadcast along the North Wales coast, and owned & operated by Global Radio. The station, which broadcast from studios in Colwyn Bay & latterly, Bangor and transmitted from Great Ormes Head, Llandudno, officially served an area stretching from Amlwch in the west to Holywell in the east, but could be heard as far away as Manchester and The Fylde. Heart North Wales Coast, along with the nearby Heart Wrexham (formerly Marcher Sound) and Heart Cymru (Champion 103), were part of the Marcher Radio Group of radio stations, which were bought by the GWR Group (now GCap). GCap put the Marcher Group stations up for sale in 2005, but in March 2006 the sale was called off. Coast 96.3 won a Gold Sony Award at the Sony Radio Awards 2006 for stations with a TSA of under 300,000. The first voices heard on Heart North Wales Coast were those of presenter Carl Hughes and newsreader Mair Thomas with Heart Breakfast at 6 am on Monday 22 June 2009. On 21 June 2010, Global Radio announced plans to close Heart North Wales Coast and merge the station with Heart Cheshire and North East Wales and Heart Wirral as part of plans to reduce the Heart network of stations from 33 to 15, leading to the closure of the Bangor studios. Heart North West and Wales is broadcast from Wrexham but 96.3 FM retains an opt-out for Welsh language news bulletins and programming during early mornings. The station was rebranded as part of the Capital FM network on Tuesday 6 May 2014.

Gwersyllt railway station serves the area of Gwersyllt in the city of Wrexham in North Wales. It is one of five stations in the Wrexham County Borough. The station is 3.5 km (2¼ miles) north of Wrexham Central on the Borderlands Line and was opened in 1866. The station used to have a signal box at the northern end of the Bidston-bound platform. A short distance to the south a goods-only branch line (part of the North Wales Mineral Railway network, to Brymbo) crossed the route and the abutments of the bridge it utilised still survive (along with a dip in the track formation). One of the line's main engineering features, the five arch stone viaduct over the River Cegidog is situated on this stretch of the line, but to the north of the station.

Summerhill (Welsh: Brynhyfryd, pronounced [brɪnˈhəvrɪd]) is a semi-urban village in the suburbs of Wrexham, Wales and forms part of the community of Gwersyllt.

Bradley (Welsh: Bradle) is a village in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. Situated in the community of Gwersyllt, it is bounded by Alyn Waters Country Park to the north, the village of Gwersyllt to the west and south, and Bradley Hill, Wat's Dyke and the River Alyn to the east. The Bradley Built-up Area Sub-division (BUASD) is a subdivision of the Wrexham Built-up Area.The village is home to a cricket club, village hall, and a Toyota dealership at Lindop. Until 2009, there was also a Post Office and a Pub known as the "Queens Head", the latter being replaced with a housing estate. Prior to the building of the 'Old Mill Estate' the village housing stock consisted primarily of Council houses. There are ruins of six mill cottages and part of the Bradley Wire Mill to the east of the village on the banks of the River Alyn.Bradley Park Rangers F.C. was a football club in the village between 1951 and 1965.

Highfield Road Halt railway station was a railway station in Gwersyllt, Wrexham, Wales. The station was opened in May 1905 and closed on 1 March 1917.

Gwersyllt Hill Halt railway station was a station in Pentre Broughton, Wrexham, Wales. The station was opened on 1 May 1906 and closed on 1 January 1931.

Moss Platform railway station was a station in Moss, Pentre Broughton, Wrexham, Wales. The station was opened on 1 May 1905 and closed on 1 January 1931.

The Moss Valley (Welsh: Dyffryn Moss, pronounced [ˌdəfrɨ̞n ˈmɔs]; ) is an area and country park in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. The area, informally known as "The Moss" and The Aggey by local people, has an extensive coal mining history.

Alyn Waters (Welsh: Dyfroedd Alun) is a country park situated between Gwersyllt and Llay in Wrexham County Borough, in the north-east of Wales, and is managed by Wrexham County Borough Council.Alyn Waters takes its name from the River Alyn which passes through the park and a footpath runs parallel to the river. There are many paths and trails crossing the park. The park is split in two by the river with one part in Gwersyllt and the other part in Llay. Alyn Waters includes a cafe open all year round on the Gwersyllt side and Llay side has a playground. There is car parking on both sides.
