The Rendezvous Hotel Singapore (formerly the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Singapore) is a hotel located on Bras Basah Road in the Museum District of Singapore, across from the Singapore Management University (SMU). It is located on the historic site of the Hock Lock Kee Restaurant which began operations in the early 1950s. Later called the Rendezvous Restaurant, it remained in the hotel complex for a number of years before moving to The Central.Rendezvous Hotel Singapore is part of a chain of Rendezvous Hotels owned by The Straits Trading Company Ltd. In 2013, Far East Hospitality Holdings Pte. Ltd., a premier hospitality assets owner and operator, acquired the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Singapore and the adjoining Rendezvous Gallery for S$270.1 million. It formed a 70%–30% joint venture between Far East Orchard Limited (a listed company under Far East Organization) and The Straits Trading Company.On 17 January 2014, the Rendezvous brand was re-branded with an art-inspired character. Refurbished common areas embody the art theme. The Club Rooms reflect three artsy styles, Performing Arts, Retro or Peranakan, and Club Rendezvous (a club lounge) offers a scenic view of the city.

Bencoolen MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown Line (DTL) in Singapore. It is located at the boundary of Rochor and Museum planning areas. Situated under Bencoolen Street, the station serves primarily the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and surrounding developments. At 43 metres (141 ft) below street level, it is the deepest station in Singapore as of 2021. The station was first announced in August 2010 when the DTL Stage 3 (DTL 3) stations were revealed. Constructing the station and the connecting tunnels was one of the most difficult projects on the DTL due to its location in a narrow site and the need to construct the DTL tunnels near the existing operational tunnels. The station was completed on 21 October 2017, along with the revamping of Bencoolen Street above.

It sees that elections are fairly carried out and has a supervisory role to safeguard against electoral fraud. Sri Krishnan Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணன் கோயில், transl. Srī kiruṣṇaṉ kōyil) is a Hindu temple in Singapore. Built in 1870 and gazetted as a national monument of Singapore in 2014, it is one of Singapore's oldest temples and is the only South Indian temple in Singapore dedicated to Krishna and his consort Rukmini. The Sri Krishnan Temple and the nearby Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple are known for having evolved a social practice termed "cross-worshipping", where many devotees of either temple also worship at the other. This practice is commonly seen as a microcosm of Singapore's multi-religious society.

The Maghain Aboth Synagogue attack plot was a plot in February 2021 by 20-year old national serviceman Amirull Ali to stab three members of the Maghain Aboth Synagogue in retaliation for Israel's role in the Israel-Palestine conflict. In addition, Ali had planned to travel to Gaza to join Hamas' military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. The plot was uncovered by the Internal Security Department, which detained Ali under the Internal Security Act.

The Maghain Aboth Synagogue (Hebrew: מגן אבות, translit: Ma'gen Ahvot, "Guardian of Patriarchs") is a synagogue in Singapore. It is located at 24/26 Waterloo Street in the Rochor Planning Area, within the Central Area in Singapore's central business district. The synagogue was constructed by 1878. It is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Southeast Asia. It is presently managed by the Jewish Welfare Board and it remains to be the main place of worship for the Jewish community in Singapore. Till today, there are still several Jewish buildings standing within its vicinity. Descendants of some of Singapore's earliest Jewish settlers are still living and doing business in Singapore.

Singapore Council of Women's Organisations Centre, also known as 96 Waterloo Street, is a historic bungalow on Waterloo Street in downtown Singapore. It currently houses the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations.

The University of the Arts Singapore (UAS); (Standard Chinese: 新加坡艺术大学; Malay: Universiti Seni Singapura; Tamil: சிங்கப்பூர் கலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்) is a publicly-funded private Collegiate university in Singapore. It is a federation of two local arts colleges: Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and LASALLE College of the Arts. It was announced as a planned-university in 2021, and took its present name in 2022. The University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) will start receiving applications in the third quarter of 2023, said the Ministry of Education (Singapore), and the two Art Colleges in a joint statement. UAS university's centre will operate out of the National Design Centre in Middle Road, which is in close proximity to the two other institutions.UAS will be the seventh local university of Singapore, and also will be the only publicly-funded private university other than the now defunct and restructured UniSIM in Singapore. UAS will have its own degree-conferring power in Singapore.
