Garland Theater

Whitman is a neighborhood located on the northeast side of Spokane, Washington. It is named for pioneer missionaries Marcus and Narcissa Whitman.

North Hill is a neighborhood in Spokane, Washington. As the name suggests, it is atop a hill on the north side of Spokane, within which it is centrally located and crossed by numerous major thoroughfares. It is home to parks, commercial districts and single family residential areas. The historic Garland Theater is located in North Hill, and the city's main north–south arterial, Division Street, is home to a major commercial district along the eastern edge of the neighborhood.

Emerson/Garfield is a neighborhood in Spokane, Washington. It is located immediately north of Downtown Spokane's North Bank and extends out into the inner northwestern portion of the city. Emerson/Garfield is a diverse neighborhood with residential, commercial and civic zones all bordering one another, with density ranging from single-family homes to multi-use buildings. Due to its location in the central area of Spokane, Emerson/Garfield is criss-crossed by numerous arterials and thoroughfares. Along those main roads are numerous commercial and retail districts of importance to both the neighborhood and city as a whole.

The Corbin Park Historic District is a 35-acre historic district in the Emerson/Garfield neighborhood of Spokane, Washington. The district has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) since 1992, and is listed on the state and local historic registers as well. It is made up of 87 buildings, 81 of which are considered to be contributing properties to the historic district. It is notable as one of the oldest intact neighborhoods in the city. Corbin Park sits at the center of the historic district as a four block long and well-forested park between Waverly Place to the south and Park Place to the north, two blocks west of Division Street. The bounds of the district extend one-half block from the park to the north and south and one block from the park to the east and west.

Shadle Park High School is a four-year public secondary school in the northwest United States, located in the Audubon/Downriver neighborhood of Spokane, Washington. Northwest of downtown Spokane, Shadle Park was the first new high school in the city in a quarter century when it opened 66 years ago in 1957. Part of Spokane Public Schools, it had an enrollment of 1,348 students in 2019.

The Spokane Public Library - North Monroe Branch is a historic building in the Emerson/Garfield neighborhood of Spokane, Washington. It was designed by Albert Held, and built in 1914 with $17,500 from Andrew Carnegie. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 3, 1982.

NorthTown Mall is a shopping mall located in Nevada Heights, Spokane, Washington, U.S.. The shopping mall first opened in 1955 as an open-air center and has been expanded several times, with its biggest expansion occurring between 1989 and 1991. The mall is currently anchored by Barnes & Noble, Get Air Trampoline Park, J. C. Penney, Kohl's, Marshalls, and Regal Cinemas.

North Central High School is a four-year public high school in Spokane, Washington in the Spokane Public Schools District 81. It opened in 1908 as the second high school in the city; the original structure was razed and the new building opened in 1981. Each year Newsweek magazine ranks the top public high schools in the nation when it comes preparing students for college and life. In 2009, NC ranked 692 in the nation. In 2010, 608th in the nation. In 2011, NC ranked 697th in the nation, 10th in the state of Washington and 1st in Eastern Washington. North Central was home to the 2008 Nike Cross Nationals champions.

The Spokane Fire Station No. 3, at 1229 N. Monroe St. in West Central, Spokane, Washington, was built in 1912–1917. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.The original Fire Station No. 3 was built in 1889 at the corner of Broadway and Madison. A new wood-frame Fire Station No. 3 was built at the present location in 1894. The current building's rear (west) part was built in 1912, behind the 1894 structure. The front part was rebuilt as a brick building around 1917.

Spokane Coliseum (nicknamed The Boone Street Barn) was an indoor arena in the northwestern United States, located in Spokane, Washington. Opened in late 1954, it had a seating capacity of 5,400. After more than a year of construction, the arena was dedicated on December 3, 1954, in a program headlined by Metropolitan Opera soprano Patrice Munsel, a Spokane native. The largest crowds in its early years were for a Catholic Mass and stage shows by Lawrence Welk and Liberace, respectively.It was host to a number of teams, including the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The arena served as the home of the Gonzaga University basketball team, from its entry into NCAA University Division (now Division I) competition in 1958, until the opening of the on-campus John F. Kennedy Memorial Pavilion in 1965, later the Charlotte Y. Martin Centre. The Bulldogs returned to the Coliseum in 1979, their first year in the West Coast Athletic Conference, for conference home games only, then returned to Kennedy Pavilion for the 1980–81 season. They continued to use the Coliseum for occasional home games until its demise. The venue was used for some events of the 1990 Goodwill Games.

The Gustav Meese Building is a historic building in West Central, Spokane, Washington. It was built in 1905 for the Gustav Meese Washington Broom Factory, to replace a previous building destroyed in a fire. Meese was a businessman from San Francisco; he owned the building until his death in 1934. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since February 16, 1996.It was deemed "significant due to its architectural stature as an industrial property type of good integrity representing the West Central neighborhood, its association with commercial development in the area, and its connection to persons important to the commercial development of Spokane. The Washington Broom Factory is the oldest industrial building in the area and retains a higher level of integrity than most nearby buildings of historic vintage."

One Spokane Stadium is a multi-use stadium in downtown Spokane, Washington, United States. It is home to the professional soccer teams Spokane Velocity of USL League One and Spokane Zephyr FC of the USL Super League and USL W League, as well as Spokane Public Schools high school teams in several sports. Opened in September 2023, it succeeds Joe Albi Stadium, the city's football and soccer venue from 1950 through 2021. The stadium is located in the North Bank district of downtown alongside two other sports facilities: Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena to the southwest and The Podium to the south.
